Chapter 686: Chapter 686: 7-Colored Divine Kingdom

Divine Artifacts are also divided into different ranks: Ordinary Divine Artifacts, Lower-Rank Divine Artifacts, Middle-Rank Divine Artifacts, and Upper-level Divine Artifacts.

A Divine Spirit at the Weak Divine Power Level, if they possessed sufficient Divine Power and wielded a Middle-Rank Divine Artifact, could even contend with a Divine Spirit at the Weak God Power Level.

Forging a Divine Artifact is no easy task. The Ice Prince and the God of Gray Mist, two Divine Spirits at the Weak Divine Power Level, did not possess a single Divine Artifact.

In a sense, Blue Star’s Seven Great Holy Spears were equivalent to seven special Divine Artifacts with incredibly tyrannical Attack Power.

"Let’s go!"

At the Lord of the Origin’s command, the party, which included the other two Divine Spirits and nearly a hundred Spirit Saint Level experts, immediately followed.

After the Spiritual Power revival on Blue Star, as soon as Divine Spirit Level experts were resurrected, they would naturally activate their backup plans, reviving the subordinates who had slumbered alongside them to continue the fight.

The Lord of the Origin’s group advanced for dozens of miles, and a vast, empty expanse of black earth appeared before them.

A Spirit Saint stepped onto the black soil. Suddenly, a ghastly white hand shot out from the ground, seized his ankle, and with a vicious tug, dragged him straight underground.

"Help—!"

The Spirit Saint had just cried out a single word before he vanished into the earth, his presence extinguished.

A chill ran down the spines of the other Spirit Saints, and they warily scanned their surroundings.

"It’s the land! This black soil is filled with a curse!"

Countless mysterious Curse Seals surfaced in the Lord of the Origin’s eyes. He activated a powerful Pupil Technique, gazed at the black soil, and spoke slowly.

The God of Gray Mist frowned slightly. "I’m not good at dealing with curses."

The God of Gray Mist had a Mastery of cursing others, but was not skilled at dispelling curses.

"I’ll do it! Thousand-Mile Ice Seal!"

The Ice Prince smiled faintly, chanted an incantation, and pointed a blue Magic Staff at the black earth.

A terrifyingly cold aura materialized from thin air and swept across the black land.

Wherever the dreadful cold passed, countless wisps of black energy surged from the soil, tangling with the freezing aura.

The black energy and the cold aura intertwined, neutralized each other, and dissipated.

Under the corrosive power of the ice, the bizarre curses were extinguished one by one.

The black earth for hundreds of miles in every direction was covered in a layer of frost.

"There!"

The Ice Prince said with a faint smile.

The Lord of the Origin nodded slightly. With a wave of his hand, everyone began to advance, treading upon the layer of frost.

After they had traveled for more than ninety kilometers, a transparent, colorless spear, yet strangely covered in faces, suddenly burst through the black earth and shot directly toward the Ice Prince.

"Ice Wall Barrier!"

The Ice Prince’s expression changed drastically. He instantly cast Magic, and an Ice Wall Barrier constructed from snow and ice materialized in front of him.

The transparent spear struck the Ice Wall Barrier, releasing countless puffs of gray smoke and instantly becoming much fainter.

But in the next moment, the bizarre spear pierced through the Ice Prince’s body.

One after another, horrifying human faces appeared on the Ice Prince’s body, letting out chilling screams.

"Save me!! Lord of the Origin!!"

A look of terror flashed in the Ice Prince’s eyes as he let out a bloodcurdling scream. The instant the strange spear had pierced him, his body was enveloped by a heavy curse, rendering him unable to use his Divine Power.

Under the corrosion of the bizarre curse, the Ice Prince’s Divine Origin was also being eaten away, bit by bit. If he weren’t a Divine Spirit, he would have been killed on the spot.

"Origin, Purifying Light!"

A cold glint flashed in the Lord of the Origin’s eyes. He pointed, and a beam of Purifying Light descended from the sky, shining upon the bizarre spear.

Waves of chilling screams surged from the earth.

The bizarre spear whipped toward the ground, trying to drag the Ice Prince underground with it.

A cold light flashed in the Lord of the Origin’s eyes. Burning his Divine Power, he pointed again, and the Purifying Light struck the strange spear directly.

Countless wisps of gray mist rose up. A section of the bizarre spear snapped off, and it instantly sank into the ground and vanished.

"Lord of the Origin, purify me!!"

The Ice Prince’s face was contorted in pain. The faces all over his body were emitting wisps of smoke; even he could not withstand such a strange and powerful curse.

"Purifying Light!"

The Lord of the Origin burned his Divine Power and pointed. A beam of Purifying Light shone down on the Ice Prince.

The Ice Prince cried out in agony as countless streams of gray smoke poured from his body. The Purifying Light corroded his flesh inch by inch, revealing large patches of bloody muscle in a horrifying sight. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ

"That’s enough, Lord of the Origin!!"

Only after a quarter of an hour did the Ice Prince finally gasp for breath.

The Lord of the Origin retracted the Purifying Light. The Ice Prince then burned his own Divine Power, and the wounds on his body began to heal rapidly.

The Lord of the Origin frowned slightly. "How much of your combat strength is left?"

The Ice Prince gave a bitter smile. "My Divine Origin was wounded! The curse isn’t completely gone. I only have about sixty percent of my combat strength left."

For ordinary injuries, a Divine Spirit like the Ice Prince could mostly heal himself with a single Healing Divine Technique by burning some Divine Power. But an injury to his Divine Origin was much harder to recover from.

"We press on!"

The Lord of the Origin waved his hand, casting a Great Healing Technique over the Ice Prince, and spoke flatly.

Under the Lord of the Origin’s command, the group continued deeper into the God of the Seven Colors’ Divine Kingdom.

"So there’s a terrible curse down there! But now that we’re prepared for it, it’s nothing to be afraid of."

Far behind the Lord of the Origin’s group, Gabriel, a man with brown hair and gray eyes, and a stunningly beautiful woman with chestnut hair and a fiery, sexy figure were all shrouded by a cloak of invisibility, concealing their presence as they watched the black land from afar.

The brown-haired, gray-eyed man was the River God, and the chestnut-haired beauty was the Joy Goddess. These two were the true allies of Gabriel, the God of Light.

The Joy Goddess smiled sweetly. "With that fool, the Lord of the Origin, clearing the path ahead, things will be much easier for us. It makes waiting here these past few days worthwhile."

"The God of the Seven Colors was an Intermediate Divine Power, perhaps even a Powerful Divine Power Level Divine Spirit. For him to suddenly perish and have his Divine Kingdom fall to the mortal realm means he must have encountered a terrifying enemy. His Divine Kingdom is surely fraught with peril. The Lord of the Origin is such a good person; he’ll clear all the dangers for us."

"This time, if we can kill him, we’ll be able to divide the faith of the Brentania Republic amongst ourselves!"

Gabriel said with a faint smile.

The eyes of the two Divine Spirits, the River God and the Joy Goddess, lit up with a flash of excitement.
