Zenova’s eyes gleamed with a crimson flicker. Even as she seduced him with her prideful and rewarding emotions, he still wasn’t falling for it.

She came forward, bowing slightly.

However, he had not seen nor sensed Natalya.

His laughing tone changed a bit as she put the two kids down and gazed at Evelynn, "Where is Natalya?"

Evelynn blinked.

Her silence made Davis feel his stomach fall, but seeing the others shake their heads with a rueful smile, he put down the worry swelling in his head, his expression turning amused.

"Don’t tell me refused to leave with you all when I gave the command?"

"Indeed," Isabella touched her forehead, appearing troubled, "This second sister of ours is too much to handle. When faith turns mindless, and she demands she be left alone and would wait for you to come back and fight to the death with you, there was no convincing her, so we worked together to seal the palace she was secluded in and uprooted it, storing it in my life ring."

Davis laughed with a bit of amusement and anger. He suppressed the latter since they had sealed his goddess. It wasn’t for fun that he had also started worshiping her and vice versa. It was real, and it was infringing on his newly created reverse scale. They were blaspheming his goddess.

"Who will?" Eden narrowed his eyes. His golden hair flowed freely while his emerald eyes showed no vitality. He was still a nine-year-old, but his voice was as cold and without emotion as ever.

"Mother needs to suffer. Only then will her craze for father stop."

"See?" Davis pointed at him and gazed at everyone else, "He only cares about his mother and doesn’t give a damn about me, his father."

Isabella and the others laughed in response, but Eden didn’t seem provoked at all.

In their eyes, he was very cute.
