Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 5010 A Strange Person

Chapter 5010  A Strange Person

The Accursed Warlock remained silent, his gaze falling on the other white-robed man who wore the mask of a white fox, perhaps indicating his ability to heal like a Saint, perhaps even capable of using life energy, but that limited the range of possibilities to very few people, easily exposing the identity.

He didn't believe a person here would make such a mistake like that.

Saint Riyal Mendez also turned to look at the white-robed fox-masked man, wanting to know who he exactly was.

After a period of silence, the host laughed out loud.

"Hahaha! As expected, you wouldn't know. I'm telling you- you can never guess this person's true identity, but I'm not issuing a challenge for you to pick up, so don't you dare start doing crazy things. Since you wanted Saint Riyal Mendez's Divine Techniques, he's willing to cooperate and teach Vile Enchanter for a certain price. Whether the two of you can pay or not is not my problem, but since I'm his backer, you naturally have to pay up, or else, I will not be fond of you anymore."

"Hmph! Naturally, we will pay. But it's not me who's going to pay anyway. Scam that Vile Enchanter all you want."

"What do you mean by scam?" Saint Riyal Mendez raged, "Have you seen any other Divine Technique that can allow immortals to give birth to progenies with a higher chance? I'll tell you my Divine Technique is on the brink of a breakthrough, intent on breaking the balance. If I don't stop, there's a significant chance I'll become a Divergent."

The Accursed Warlock scoffed, "Just drink more Seraphim Bloodsoul Essence and test your luck to see if the heavens can conveniently ignore you."

"Yes, I need Seraphim Bloodsoul Essence." Saint Riyal Mendez turned solemn, "As long as your friend can bring me this- enough vials extracted from a whole Seraphim who is at the Primarch Stage, preferably at the peak, or just one vial of Bloodsoul Essence of a Hierarch Stage Seraphim, I'll hand over the other complete and important half of my Divine Technique for you two to comprehend but whether the two of you can learn or not is a whole different story."

"You don't need to worry about that. Now, are you all going to heal me or watch me die?"

The Accursed Warlock asked, his tone impatient and threatening.

"As if I would believe you're on the cusp of dying."

The host sneered and gestured at the white-robed man in a respectful manner.

"Malzor, you owe me big time since I don't wish to heal this person at all."

"Yes."

Realm Master Malzor Hexadra, the host, didn't refute the white-robed person, and neither did he get angry since his identity was also known to the other members. Otherwise, he couldn't get them all here in the first place and get them to trust him.

The white-robed fox-masked man stepped forward and bent.

A faint fragrance spread from his body, something pristine and sacred, as though untouched by the filth of the mortal or immortal realms. Even the blood puddle below the Accursed Warlock seemed to recoil slightly, its ripples slowing as if unwilling to approach him.

Accursed Warlock's pupils constricted.

"Don't…" his voice came out hoarse, yet filled with a rare trace of urgency, "Don't use that kind of energy on me…"

The fox-masked man did not respond.

He simply raised his hand, and a soft radiance bloomed from his palm.

It was not blinding, nor was it gentle to Accursed Warlock. Like the first light of dawn that touched the world after an endless, ominous night, it shone on him like a sacred hymn smiting evil.

"Purification…" These words left the white-robed man's mouth.

His voice was low, almost like a whisper carried by the wind.

The moment the light descended, Accursed Warlock's body convulsed violently.

"Argh!"

A guttural scream tore out of his throat as black smoke of malediction energy appeared to be disintegrating. At the same time, black-crimson threads erupted from his pores, writhing like living serpents. They carried an aura of chaos and karma intertwined and carried a majestic Will that seemed to curse the existence of curses itself.

The moment they touched the white light, they began to disintegrate-

- but slowly.

The fox-masked man frowned at the pace but occasionally nodded and sighed in awe as though appreciating the powers of the Celestial Transcendent.

Inside Accursed Warlock's soul sea, the scene was even more terrifying.

A storm of chaotic karmic energy raged wildly, carrying the imprint of the Celestial Transcendent's Will. It coiled around his soul like chains, gnawing and corroding, threatening to snuff out his life, but eventually, the storm appeared to be receding.

Noticing the changes, Realm Master Malzor Hexadra's eyes flickered with admiration.

As expected of the supreme genius who was in control of Purification Laws, a fusion between Light Laws, Karma Laws, and Vitality Laws, which was a fusion between Water Laws and Wood Laws. Together, this person's healing prowess had reached the realm of a true Saint who was capable of using life energy, perhaps even above!

Moreover, this person was also extremely capable of treating curses and dealing with karmic attacks.

Realm Master Malzor Hexadra witnessed this scene in awe but also sneered at Accursed Warlock inwardly.

This was the type of energy that was a bane to Accursed Warlock's malediction energy, so as much as he was getting treated, his soul must be in extreme pain, making him gloat.

Who was it that bragged that they could hunt the Divine Emperor of Death by easily kidnapping Jiayi Crystalveil again?

Even he couldn't manage to capture the Divine Emperor of Death, so much less this newcomer who appeared like he had control over everything, yet got nearly ruined by meeting the Celestial Transcendent.

"Stop… Stop…!"

Accursed Warlock's voice cracked, his hands clawing into the ground as his body arched unnaturally.

His veins bulged, black energy surging outward in a desperate attempt to escape.

The fox-masked man's gaze remained calm as he continued healing.

"Your sins are heavy."

His voice echoed, not just in the courtyard, but within Accursed Warlock's very soul.

"They bind you, they poison you, and they devour you."

Each word caused the scarlet-white light to intensify, and the remaining chaotic karmic energy shrieked, its presence rapidly diminishing.

"Release them, accept absolution, and return to clarity."

Accursed Warlock's eyes turned bloodshot.

"Clarity…?" he rasped, his lips curling into a feral grin despite the agony, "You damned Saint, you think I don't know you?!"

His laughter was broken, drenched in pain, yet filled with madness.

"You think I crawled through corpses… bathed in sin… just to be redeemed…?!"

The fox-masked man frowned but still continued, "So what if you recognize me and my powers? If you don't accept salvation, that's fine. But I will give you this in return."

*Pow!~*

He threw his hand and slapped Accursed Warlock, dumbfounding him as he left a layer of handprint on his cheek.

"There, the last surge of purification energy is sent, and the karmic attack's energy has been completely eradicated. As for healing yourself, I'm sure you are capable of that."

The fox-masked man stood up and took a few steps back as though returning to Realm Master Malzor Hexadra's protection.

"You don't owe me, but you owe the little girl you chased everywhere your life."

"You're Saint-"

The Accursed Warlock sat up as he laughed, but his voice was overwhelmed by the sound of the noise of darkness created by Realm Master Malzor Hexadra, who frowned.

"Hahaha," The Accursed Warlock laughed, appearing to finally understand the reason behind the slap, "You're the one who sent people to request my Myria to become your personal disciple right before she got branded as a Divergent. You're one of the people who thwarted me many times, right? Why are you here in this shady, evil gathering?"

"You don't need to know."

The white-robed man said coldly.
