Chapter 3795 Rest After Success

Chapter 3795  Rest After Success

"You-"

"Be quiet."

Davis held Zanqua's head.

Her expression churned with pain, but there was also a sense of relief and delight in her eyes as Davis healed her soul.

She followed the Solitary Soul Avatar's creation method like the last time, splitting her soul by a terrifying thirty percent before she grabbed the severed soul and threw it into the vessel that would produce the avatar in her soul sea.

Intense pain assaulted her, causing her to shudder crazily like she was having a seizure, but a hand immediately grabbed her head and began healing her soul essence.

She could feel her soul essence rapidly heal, making her unable to believe what she was seeing even though it was the second time she had sensed such a marvel.

Soon, the vessel glowed brightly while her soul essence also healed to ninety-three percent.

*Whoosh!~*

Zanqua's Solitary Soul Avatar appeared.

She looked around and saw Panqa, Lanqua, and Yilla sleeping on the bed in various positions, looking defeated, as they had also been made to create Solitary Soul Avatars before being healed by Davis.

It could be said he handled the four of them himself, but the sight of it was so erotic that she momentarily imagined something else had happened amidst the delirious ache of her soul. She could see her main body lying on the couch while receiving his healing, causing her to inwardly sigh at the ridiculousness of his existence.

Back then, such a soul injury would've left her permanently disabled, making her experience severe soul aches and occasional fainting before she sooner or later hit the bucket, but now, she had healed in a few minutes.

She couldn't begin to describe the loftiness of his existence, making her realize that she hadn't considered much because she was with her sisters. If she had been alone and he wasn't a Divergent, perhaps he would've been so important that someone like her couldn't even come this close to him.

'Probably more important than Saintess Lunaria herself…'

She inwardly sighed again.

But her main body did something so preposterous that it made her eyes shoot wide.

"Take your hand off me."

Davis's voice was cold as he still kept healing Zanqua.

However, she wasn't silent. Her hand was reached out, and she was sizing up his member with her palm with a delirious expression on her face, sensing it grow wildly that made her tremble ever so lightly.

"Huh? Why…? You're packing a great spear that appears to want to pierce me…"

Zanqua's cheeks blushed as she looked at him with upturned eyes, although she still only had one eye because she still refused to heal her left eye.

Davis's gaze flickered. He turned to look at her avatar, causing her to rub her head.

"Sorry. I'm- she's in a semi-state of heat…"

"I can see that, or I would've crushed your hand at the very least. Now get it off me before I am forced to do what I said." Davis said with a stern expression.

He looked as though he would release a groan if not.

Zanqua spread her hands, looking like she wanted to say it wasn't her fault, but quickly swallowed her words, removed her main body's hand from him, and kept her suppressed.

Davis knew this phenomenon was a common occurrence for feys. It usually wouldn't pose trouble since human feys were capable of suppressing such an urge, but if their senses were blurred, then it would be difficult to stop. He admitted his healing abilities also played a part as it would make a person feel good as though they were being massaged.

On the other hand, Zanqua's avatar was unaffected because it was made out of soul force.

Nonetheless, Zanqua's actions had crossed a line. It made him uncomfortable as he didn't want to betray Panqa and Lanqua's expectations of him, not to mention complicate the three of their relationship more than it needed to be, as they were finally getting along despite their differences. Fortunately, none of the others saw it as they were sleeping after having their souls gouged out.

He couldn't help but smile at them, knowing they deserved a good night's sleep.

They successfully managed to save Shirley and return without leaving a single or much of a trace. It was a big success if he were to rate their actions. They had already reported to him what had happened, and he recognized their achievements.

Clara was particularly praiseful of Yilla for being able to keep up with her and doubting her intentions. On the other hand, Yilla and the others praised Clara for being able to fool others despite her mistakes a few times.

However, Shirley reported to him what happened with Clara and Yilla, knowing that the two had a bit of an altercation over words, although it didn't seem like Clara fought back.

He didn't blame Yilla for it. He found the fault was himself since he didn't explain how important she was to their family. How could Yilla, who wasn't with him from the beginning, know? The interaction he had with Clara in front of Yilla was very little, so it made sense that she wasn't aware like the others.

"You don't like me…?"

Suddenly, Zanqua's voice could be heard.

He looked down and saw it was the avatar instead of the main body.

There wasn't much change to her expression as she only appeared to be curious.

"Romantically? No…" Davis chuckled lightly, "As a fellow cultivator, you're cool. Just don't go overboard with slaughtering unrelated people."

"I thought you would have a problem with me over that since you and my sisters said I shouldn't no longer do such things."

"Newsflash: we're no longer in control of our environment and could die over the slightest mistake, so I won't willfully hold onto my beliefs."

"Newsflash…?" Zanqua tilted her head, but she nodded, "I don't know what that means, but I understand. It is the same back in the bandit mountains. If you don't impose your rule, others will impose their rule on you."

"A little different." Davis corrected a bit, "We're not trying to impose our rule on anyone but just getting by, trying to walk a bridge without getting caught in the middle where one single mistake could collapse the bridge and we'll all fall to our deaths or get swept away by numerous currents, ending up in miserable rivers."

"Therefore, we have to make sure we aren't spotted by anyone while crossing the bridge, and you did well, Zanqua. You have my praise and the approval of others, so consequently, you will get rewarded soon."

Davis said with a firm nod, causing Zanqua's gaze to lock with his as they fluttered in surprise.
