Chapter 620: Chapter 620: Heaven-Sent Pervert (Part 2)

The Second Commander glared at Lin Yun, his face a mask of fury. What the Monk and the Daoist had done had completely crossed the line. If it weren’t for the extraordinary status of Lin Yun’s group, the Second Commander would have likely cut down anyone else on the spot.

’Inwardly, Lin Yun knew full well that the Monk and the Daoist were in the wrong. But now that it had come to this, he naturally had to protect them.’

However, before Lin Yun could respond, the Monk beside him beat him to it, shouting, "Hey, Dark-face, what did you just say? Why should Young Master Lin be the one to give you an explanation? You should be the one explaining yourself to us!"

Hearing this, the Second Commander was pushed to the absolute limit. He lunged forward, ready to trade blows with the Monk and the Daoist, roaring, "What did you say? Do you really think I wouldn’t dare to kill you?"

Thankfully, the other Commanders were holding the Second Commander back. At that moment, Lin Yun, who had remained silent until now, turned to the Grand Commander and spoke.

"Grand Commander, I am not concerned with who is right or wrong at this moment. The most pressing issue is the Divine Palace. We can only stand against them if we are united."

With that said, Lin Yun turned to the Second Commander. With a flash from his Space Ring, a Celestial Spirit Soldier in the shape of a Giant Axe appeared in his hand.

Having fought countless battles of all sizes in the Eastern Heart Domain, Lin Yun naturally had plenty of Spirit Soldiers in his Space Ring, all of which he had acquired from fallen enemies.

The Second Commander’s face instantly lit up with adoration as he looked at the Giant Axe in Lin Yun’s hand. In this world, there were no Elixirs, and naturally, no Spirit Soldiers either.

The weapons used by the Demon Palace’s Ten Commanders, for instance, were all just ordinary armaments.

"Second Commander, consider this a bit of compensation. As for how this matter is ultimately handled, I hope you can prioritize the greater good. We can settle this after the Divine Palace is defeated," Lin Yun said.

Hearing Lin Yun’s words, the Second Commander didn’t agree right away. He knew, of course, that this was no time for internal conflict. If they fell into infighting, they would have no chance of victory against the Divine Palace.

Lin Yun had made his stance clear and offered a Celestial Spirit Soldier as compensation. The Second Commander stared at the Giant Axe in Lin Yun’s hand, silent for a long time. Finally, he glanced at his wife before slowly saying to Lin Yun.

"Since you’ve put it that way, we’ll let the matter rest for now."

The Second Commander finally relented. Lin Yun placed the Giant Axe in his hands. The Commander caressed the weapon as if it were his beloved, the adoration in his eyes impossible to conceal.

Lin Yun himself was mortified that something like this had happened. He didn’t linger in the main hall, quickly leading the Monk and the Daoist away.

The matter was left unresolved for the time being. After returning to their courtyard, the faces of the Monk and the Daoist showed no change whatsoever. The Monk even looked at Lin Yun with a cheeky grin and said.

"Young Master Lin, we’ve been cooped up training for over ten days! Come on, let’s have a good drink today."

Hearing the Monk’s words, Lin Yun replied coolly, "We should have a good drink. But today, because of you two, I lost a Celestial Spirit Soldier. Tell me, who should be held responsible for that?"

Hearing this, the hearts of the Monk and the Daoist hammered in their chests. ’What does he mean by that?’

"Little Ape! Black-striped Tiger!" Lin Yun bellowed. Before the Monk and the Daoist could even react, Lin Yun, along with Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger, had them securely tied up for the second time.

Tied up tightly by Lin Yun once again, the Monk and the Daoist began to shout.

"Lin Yun, what’s the meaning of this? I’ve been so loyal to you, and you keep tying me up again and again!"

"Lin Yun, let go of your Daoist Master, now!" the Daoist yelled.

Ignoring their shouts and curses, Lin Yun calmly sat on the stone stool next to them. A cold sneer played on his lips as he looked at them and spoke.

"Monk. Daoist. You two are really something else. I didn’t say anything back when you were spending money on women, but what’s this now? A change of taste? You like married women now?"

"And you two call yourselves holy men. What you did was worse than bandits—two of you with one woman, caught red-handed by her husband. And not only do you show no remorse, you even have the gall to turn around and blame him..."

Lin Yun said coldly. Hearing his words, the Monk and the Daoist fell unusually silent. It seemed they finally realized that this time, they had truly gone too far.

But in the next second, Lin Yun learned the true meaning of ’a leopard can’t change its spots.’ He heard the Monk mutter under his breath.

"This goddamn shithole doesn’t even have a couple of brothels. We’ve been holding it in for so long, of course we couldn’t take it anymore. Besides, that little broad was willing. It was mutual, so how can you blame us?"

’Holy hell... Mutual?’ The Monk actually managed to make something like this sound so pure and innocent. Lin Yun was so taken aback by their shamelessness he could almost worship it.

"So, you’re saying that even now, you still don’t think you’ve done anything wrong?" Lin Yun asked coolly, hearing the Monk’s words.

The Monk and the Daoist looked at Lin Yun, their bluster clearly diminished, but they still tried desperately to defend themselves.

"How can you blame us? It takes two to tango. That little broad was willing; we didn’t force her. Besides," the Monk said with utter shamelessness, "for her to receive the... *enlightenment*... of someone like me, Lord Buddha, she should be thanking me."

"Exactly! If I don’t enter hell, who will? We were making a noble sacrifice, and we still get framed for it. Where’s the justice in that?" the Daoist added.

At this point, Lin Yun understood. When it came to money and women, it was impossible to reason with these two. Not wanting to waste any more breath, he deftly removed their Space Rings.

Amidst their furious roars, Lin Yun transferred all the Primordial Stones from their rings into his own.

"Consider this your payment for the Celestial Spirit Soldier I lost," Lin Yun said, tossing their Space Rings back in front of them.

"Lin Yun, you’re no man! You have no honor! We’re brothers, friends, and you’re robbing us...!" the Monk and the Daoist bellowed.

Ignoring their shouts, Lin Yun headed back to his room without a backward glance. Just before he entered, he had the Black-striped Tiger untie the pair.

Staring at their now-empty Space Rings—Lin Yun hadn’t left so much as a single Low Grade Primordial Stone—the Monk and the Daoist looked like they were about to cry.

"Lin Yun, I, the Monk, am now your sworn enemy!" "And I, the Daoist, will never rest until you pay!" Standing in the courtyard, the Monk and the Daoist roared like madmen. Lin Yun had taken all of their Primordial Stones, which was utterly unacceptable for a pair of notorious cheapskates like them.
