Chapter 96 - Gunfight (1)
"Sir, we're ready to move in. Waiting for your order now." the squad leaders reported one after another as they're waiting for Captain Hu's next instruction.
Using the drone as their eyes in the sky, the Tianhe Special Forces were separated into four different groups, covering the four entrances of the building under renovation. To their surprise, it seems that this place was a legit place under construction as the workers were working diligently.
If it wasn't due to their eyes located in the sky, they might have a change in their mind before the operation started.
"Beware of the construction vehicles and toolboxes scattered around the area. From what the Eagle sees, there are many Automated-Kalash L-47 stashed inside."
"Also, take note of the terrain. This is not our turf. There might be traps around when you're attacking the place." said the operation room agents while they're reporting everything they see through their earpiece.
"How many people spotted so far? Are there any findings of civilians amongst them?" Captain Hu asked.
"No, sir. We've scanned most of them." the agent replied.
"Then... Get ready." Captain Hu said. Turning his head to Zhang Qin Feng seated at the rear-most seat, Zhang Qin Feng slowly opened his eyes.
'Stein, what's my body status?' Zhang Qin Feng asked. He looked adapted and ready to act. His stern expression made Lightbulb get serious and strapped the smaller automatic machine gun on his back and the pistol over his waistbelt.
[Perfect condition. Concentration at the top of performance. Equipment ready to be transferred into the hand when needed. No interference is spotted. Luna II spotted close to seventy targets inside the building]
[Is the user ready to go now?]
Stein asked.
'Yes." Zhang Qin Feng replied. Taking the Phalanx X-02 out from the cramped backseat, he made his way past Captain Hu's seat and reached to the latch that opened the door.
"Mr. Zhang." Captain Hu called him again before the door was opened.
"Yes?" Zhang Qin Feng turned his head facing the captain.
"Good luck. I believe you'll need it. Please pay attention to the four leaders as each of them was as good as our top elites." Captain Hu said as he pushes his seat a little backward to give more space for Zhang Qin Feng to move.
"Thank you." Zhang Qin Feng left the car. Accompanying him were Lightbulb, who came out from the driver's seat. The two then immediately move into the building's surrounding area as they searched for a point to infiltrate the building.
"There, that building. If we can jump from that upper level to the scaffolding, the sixth and seventh floor will be opened for our access." Zhang Qin Feng said.
"Sure... It's just twice the height of our previous building. I can make it." Lightbulb smiled with a face full of worry. Without wearing equipment or whatsoever, all he relies upon was Zhang Qin Feng's crazy strength to toss him over the ledge.
After making sure he sees both of them entered the building, Captain Hu tapped his finger on his earpiece.
"Squad 1 to 3, charge into the north entrance."
"Squad 4 and 5, take the west. Squad 6 and 7, you'll handle the east entrance."
"Squad 8, 9, and 10. Go south with me. Start the operation! Sniper on the balcony, get ready to handle their alarms as we move in!" Captain Hu ordered.
The elite armed forces moved in tandem as all of them left the vehicle at the same time and stormed to the building's entrances. Their movement was speedy and executed without a hint of question in their mind.
"Hey, don't you feel there are more people on the street? Wait! That's!" one of the workers pouring the cement on the upper floor spotted the moving soldiers and tried to press something on their wristwatch.
But before he did, a silenced shot was fired and took this pitiful individual out.
A similar action was taken from four corners of the building as targets were taken out without allowing them to get the chance to raise their alert.
Unfortunately, it was just enough to delay them for a few minutes as the ground workers soon noticed that the people on the scaffold is lesser than they should.
"Toot! Toot!" inside the room where the three leaders were seen, Joker's laptop was vibrating and creating meaningless sounds in panic.
"What's with the alarm?" Lady asked. She threw the popsicle aside as she seems irritated by the sound of the alarm.
"This is our security alarm. We got company." Joker pressed the enter button on his keyboard, and eight different cubicles appeared on his laptop's screen. It shows close to a hundred dots around the outside of the building under renovation.
"Ring the alarm. I'll go out and take care of the visitors. Both of you, get rid of the documents and bring the hostage away with you." Dagger said as he took a phone out of his pocket.
The number "4" was pressed for a moment as it went to speed dialing. When the receiver answered the call, Dagger immediately raised his voice as he walked out of the room.
"Where the hell are you? The base got attacked. Did you get in a mess with any of the security forces?" Dagger shouted. His voice alerted the other terrorist agents outside of the room.
"Suit up. We have company. Treat all of them as hostile until the order to retreat came to your wristwatch!" Dagger yelled at the lazy agents that are still clueless about what happened.
"Go - Go - Go!" the agents immediately scrambled and went to the corners to pick their favorite weapons. Putting on a homemade bulletproof vest, balaclava, and some tools, they get on their feet and move.
The number "5" on the wall seems to be repainted on purpose as they descended using the staircase.
"Open fire!" one of the brave agents yelled as he took the semi-automatic rifle out from where he hides and fired randomly at the west entrance.
*Da - Da - Da - Da*
"West entrance's team requesting assistance." one of the Tianhe members tapped his earpiece and made a request.
"Affirmative."
*Bang!*
The head of the terrorist agent exploded as he ended as the first to be taken out ruthlessly.
