Chapter 200: Chapter 200: They Are All Pushovers

Seeing this, the ten geniuses from the Great Yuan and Great Jin Dynasties burst out laughing again.

"Haha! It looks like you had a brutal fight with those Yin Souls from Yinfeng Valley, didn’t you?"

"In that case, we really ought to thank those Yin Souls. It’ll make dealing with you much easier!"

In their eyes, they held the absolute advantage. Even if Yi Xiaoyao’s group sprouted wings, they couldn’t escape their grasp.

So they weren’t in any hurry to act. They wanted to watch Yi Xiaoyao and the others show the panic and despair of those facing certain death. To them, it was a pleasure to be savored.

After all, everyone present was a top genius from their respective dynasty. A direct confrontation would undoubtedly result in heavy losses for both sides.

But now, they could achieve an easy victory against these powerful enemies. How could they not be ecstatic?

However, the ten from the Great Yuan and Great Jin Dynasties didn’t see the expressions they were hoping for on their opponents’ faces.

"Fu Tianhao, you’re number one on the Great Yuan Dynasty’s Earth Element List. Have you no shame, resorting to such despicable tactics?"

Bo Hong shot a contemptuous look at one of the red-robed men opposite them. Geniuses like them had their pride; they disdained kicking a man when he was down.

Fu Tianhao stepped forward with a sneer. "Ashamed? Why should I feel ashamed?"

Then, Fu Tianhao barked, "Bo Hong, you lost to Shangguan Tianjian a year ago, whereas I fought him to a draw! By extension, you’ve lost to me as well! What right do you have to lecture me?"

"You!" Bo Hong’s face flushed with anger. Losing to Shangguan Tianjian was his greatest humiliation, and now that Shangguan Tianjian was dead, he would never have the chance to erase that disgrace.

Fu Tianhao smirked, his gaze sweeping over Bo Hong and those behind him. "Besides," he said, "all of you are already heavily injured. That gives you even less right to act tough in front of me."

"Haha! Fu Tianhao, are you blind? Open your damn eyes and take a good look! Are you sure *all* of us are heavily injured?" Bo Hong shot back with a cold laugh.

But Fu Tianhao’s laughter was even louder, completely drowning out Bo Hong’s.

"Are you talking about that kid at the Golden Core Sixth Layer? I have no idea how he qualified for this trip to the Ancient Tomb, but with that level of cultivation, he’s less than nothing in my eyes. What difference does it make if he’s injured or not?"

As Fu Tianhao spoke, the nine people behind him erupted in laughter.

Hearing this, Bo Hong and the others got odd looks on their faces. It seemed Fu Tianhao was making the same mistake they had.

At that, Bo Hong and the others couldn’t help but look at Yi Xiaoyao, who had been standing silently in their midst.

"What? Don’t tell me you’re all pinning your hopes on this kid? Dream on!"

Seeing this, Fu Tianhao shook his head with a sneer, completely ignoring Yi Xiaoyao.

He then continued with a smug grin, "Since you made it out alive, you must have gotten the Ancient Tomb Key, right? But now, it belongs to us. This feeling of reaping what you didn’t sow... it’s just wonderful!"

Just then, Yi Xiaoyao finally spoke, his voice flat. "Reaping what you didn’t sow? There’s no such thing as a free lunch in this world. And even if there were, you’re not worthy of it."

Bo Hong and the others felt their hearts stir. It looked like Yi Xiaoyao was finally going to make his move. A faint sense of anticipation grew within them; after all, they had witnessed his power firsthand!

But Fu Tianhao and his group were completely oblivious to this strength, just as Bo Hong’s group had been before.

And so, those by Yi Xiaoyao’s side began to feel a twinge of pity for the members of the two rival dynasties. They could already see how this was going to end.

Fu Tianhao, still oblivious, furrowed his brow at Yi Xiaoyao’s words.

"Kid, you actually have the guts to talk back to me?"

Fu Tianhao grinned cruelly. He cracked his knuckles, producing a series of sharp POPS, and slowly walked toward Yi Xiaoyao.

"Since you asked, I’ll just have to show you whether I’m worthy..."

Before he could finish, Fu Tianhao’s expression froze. His hands were still raised, but he made no other sound, no other movement.

The others from the Great Yuan and Great Jin Dynasties exchanged confused glances, then one of them gently poked Fu Tianhao.

THUMP.

With just that single touch, Fu Tianhao’s body split clean in two and collapsed to the ground.

Everyone froze, stunned. After a moment of dead silence...

"WHAT!!!"

"How is that possible?! Fu Tianhao is dead?!"

"What just happened? It didn’t look like anyone attacked him, did it?"

Every one of the nine people behind Fu Tianhao was filled with horror and disbelief, each of them gasping sharply.

This was the number one expert on the Great Yuan Dynasty’s Earth Element List! A legend known throughout the Great Yuan Dynasty, the strongest cultivator in the Golden Core Realm, Fu Tianhao!

And now, he had just... died? Silently and inexplicably?

Everyone present, with the exception of Yi Xiaoyao himself, was utterly bewildered—including his own allies.

"The speed of your sword... it’s much faster than when you killed Shangguan Tianjian."

Shang Shiqie’s eyes flickered as if recalling something, and she spoke to Yi Xiaoyao.

Yi Xiaoyao raised an eyebrow. ’So she was watching from the sidelines during my fight with Shangguan Tianjian.’

But she was right; his Instant Kill Sword was indeed much faster now.

After all, Shangguan Tianjian had managed to block that same sword strike back then. Fu Tianhao, a man of comparable strength, was now lying dead on the ground, killed in a single, instantaneous blow. That was all the proof needed.

At the same time, hearing Shang Shiqie’s words, the others suddenly understood.

"Can you believe that? That woman is saying Fu Tianhao was killed by this Golden Core Sixth Layer kid!"

"What a joke! The kid never even drew his sword!"

"She’s just bluffing! And saying he killed Shangguan Tianjian? Who would believe that! Besides, whose sword could possibly move that fast?"

"Then how did Fu Tianhao die?"

The nine from the Great Yuan and Great Jin Dynasties would rather not know the answer than believe that Yi Xiaoyao had killed Fu Tianhao.

As for Bo Hong and the others behind Yi Xiaoyao, they too were shocked by Shang Shiqie’s words. However, they believed without a doubt that Yi Xiaoyao had just killed Fu Tianhao without any of them seeing a thing.

Because Yi Xiaoyao was just that strong!

"Hmph! Does it matter whether you believe it or not? You’re next, and you’ll be forced to believe it then!"

For some reason, Bo Hong’s heart was pounding with excitement as he sneered at the remaining nine.

Yi Xiaoyao nodded and said coolly, "Since you’ve delivered yourselves to my doorstep seeking death, I will grant your wish."

The moment his voice fell, flames flared to life again. A Flame Giant materialized and instantly crashed into the nine opponents.

"What?! This kid is incredibly strong!"

As the nine of them felt the terrifying might of Yi Xiaoyao’s aura, their faces drained of color. They understood instantly: Fu Tianhao had indeed been killed by this young man.

"Hmph! You want to kill us? We’re not pushovers! No matter how strong you are, you’re only one person. Let’s see you take on the nine of us!"

But his words were immediately followed by the agonized screams of the nine rival geniuses.

Amid the flames and Sword Auras, the desperate light in their nine pairs of eyes flickered and died.

In a matter of moments, all nine were reduced to charred corpses.

Looking down at the corpses of the rival dynasties’ geniuses at his feet, Yi Xiaoyao coldly answered the words they had spoken in life.

"Before a fist that’s hard enough, every persimmon is soft."
