Chapter 496 The Warning
Chapter 496 The Warning
“Delicious, right?” Lenny asked.
The fat Demon nodded, and so did Lenny. “Good! Because that is what you taste like. So don’t blame me for this.”
Lenny suddenly moved. He had a machete in hand—a weapon popularly used for hacking down meat.
The moment he appeared before the Fat Demon, he waved the blade, and the demon’s head tumbled from its fat neck.
All the demon knew was that it could suddenly see its own legs before life left its eyes forever.
All of Lenny’s weapons that had been gotten from the system had been embedded with runes that permitted the sure death of supernatural creatures.
If not, just this one strike alone would not have been enough for the demon’s death to be ensured.
After all, in the old world, even bullets could not harm demons.
The head of the first demon touching the ground was the whistle that began the battle.
All the demons, activating different abilities, rushed for Lenny.
Meanwhile, Victor and Moses were left to watch from the side.
As one would expect, Victor wanted to join in the fray, but he held himself back. Something told him that if he were to jump into this battle, Lenny, with how fast and efficient he was moving, might slice off his neck, mistaking him for a demon.
He decided to watch from the side.
limbs and blood flew into the sky. Lenny’s blade, hacking anything that remotely came close to him.
As the chaos ensured, none was wiser about a particular fellow who decided not to partake in the battle.
Even though he was the strongest of them all, Purple took several steps back, and then, like a chameleon, his skin changed, adapting to the color of his environment as he escaped the place.
This slaughter was not as lengthy as usual.
There were only about fifty demons. All of whom were in the lesser demon realm.
Only one was at rank 6 of the lesser demon realm, and he too felt like a toothpick—easily breakable.
In a timely manner, the fight had ended.
Blood, innards, and meat chunks all decorated the ground.
Victor and Moses watched in surprise at this. Even their numbers had not managed to confuse Lenny or make him falter in the least.
Just like that, Lenny had finished with the demons. He chopped them down like he was slaughtering livestock on his farm.
Then again, it did feel that way to Lenny. These demons did feel like livestock to him.
He went about the place, waving his hands at the corpses and sending them into the storage unit. They would be used as exchange materials with the Satan System.
Or even better, they would be used as food.
He was not joking when he said that he needed more demon meat.
Lenny had eaten mutant beast meat and demon meat as well. The demon meat was more appealing to him. He assumed that it was because of the darkline magic within it.
As Lenny waved his hands in the surrounding area, he sent the demon meat into the storage unit.
However, one of them did not disappear into the storage unit.
This had taken Lenny by surprise. The only event that warranted that a dead substance could not be sent into the storage unit was when it was still alive.
This particular meat that refused to enter the storage was actually the body of the first demon Lenny had killed.
It was a big, fat demon. .
Lenny was sure that he had killed this demon, but the demon’s body was not going into storage.
This made him frown.
However, that didn’t matter. If he did not kill him, then he could always try again.
Lenny raised his blade high in the air as he came down for a strike. However, just when he was stabbed into the demon’s tummy, he saw the belly move.
This made him pause just before the blade was to make its way into the flesh.
The demon’s large stomach moved as if something were inside, and was struggling but unable to get out.
“Was this one pregnant?” Lenny asked himself. However, seeing the large Dung in between the demon’s legs, he quickly dismissed that thought.
He turned to Moses, “Any ideas!”
Moses shook his head.
Lenny was not sure what it was. After all, he had never seen a pregnant demon in his life.
He used his perception ability, spreading it into the headless body.
His eyes widened in sudden realization of what it was.
He waved the machete in an arc, and the large belly was torn open.
Pungent liquid and innards came out, and with it, a person was in a coiled position, holding his knees tight.
This person was very slim and wore tattered clothes. But more than that, he had negative magic surrounding his body.
This was probably what preserved his life from the corrosive digestive juices of the demon’s body. In other words, this man was a Magi. However, considering his condition, Lenny could tell that he did not have much to live on.
This fellow must have had incredible luck for Lenny to have found him.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes, and then he turned to Lenny.
“They… they are coming!” He reached forward, grabbing Lenny’s shirt. “They are coming?”
“Who is coming?” Lenny asked.
“The army of the undead…” He fell to the ground, passing out.
Lenny leaned in to check his body condition. He was still alive.
The man was still alive.
Lenny slung him over his shoulders and turned to Moses and Victor. “Let’s go back before we receive some more unexpected guests.”
However, Lenny only took several steps forward before he paused and then turned back, looking in a particular direction. He grinned and then continued on his way.
Once Lenny was gone, a particular fellow, Purple, materialized from his hiding point. Just now, he was the person Lenny had looked at.
Fear washed over him. He could not help but imagine what would have happened if Lenny had…
