Chapter 400 Having Fun Killing Magi
Werewolves had incredible senses. He knew that a team there must have seen them by now and was rushing to their aid.
All he had to do was make sure that they made it to that point.
Yes! That was all they needed.
“Young Master Victor, how many more vials do you have left?” Moses asked.
Victor dug a hand in his clothes and brought out a little test tube.
In it were a few drops of blood.
“It’s little, barely a single drop for all of us.” Victor replied.
However, Moses smiled, “Don’t worry, it will be enough. Say the prayer, and on my mark, share it!”
Victor nodded.
Instantly, he closed his eyes as his mouth moved.
This was the bloodline ability that was gifted to only those of noble lineage within the pack.
This was their birthright secret and the reason for their strong rule over the land.
After all, this was the blood essence of a primordial beast, only activated by those of this superior bloodline.
As Victor’s mouth moved lightly, the blood in the vial in his hand suddenly glowed a bright red.
It glowed brighter and brighter until it looked like a brightly lit red bulb.
“I’m ready!”
This was a differentiating valley.
A mark that separated the pack from the outside world.
It was essentially a natural defense against intruders and had been so for centuries.
Right now, it was proving to be against those that it had protected for so long.
However, Moses was not going to let his young master fall here.
He had a more ingenious plan to ensure they got out alive.
Instead of rushing through the straight path ahead, he curved up on the walls.
This action of his would definitely put strain on his legs and those of the other guards and reduce their speed.
However, it would make them a very difficult target to get hit by the Magi.
The Magi leading this advance frowned at this.
Then again, with the kind of magic power that was being gathered, it did not matter if they ran sideways; the blast was still going to reach them.
However, something happened.
“Now!” Moses instructed, and Victor waved his hand, pouring the contents of the vial into the air.
All three of them dove into the air with their tongues out. Victor, Moses, and the last guard.
Licking the glowing red contents in the air, and swallowing them.
All of a sudden, their bodies seemed to grow in size, and their white fur seemed shinier.
“They took another one! We have to attack now, Senior Fang. If we don’t do it, they will get away!”
Fang nodded as he waved his hands for the attack. However, he suddenly paused as a message rushed into his mind. .
This was a message that could only be passed through bloodlines.
“WHAT!?” He forcefully paused the spell, causing him to cough out some blood as he lost focus and control, throwing the big ball of negative fire slightly the wrong way.
*BOOM!*
It hit wrongly, causing a massive negative fire explosion.
However, it was off so slightly that it allowed the Werewolves, with their new speed, the opportunity to escape.
Fang suddenly slowed down in his pursuit.
As he did, so did the other Magi.
“Senior Fang, what is it? The giant shadow werewolves are running away. We just missed our shot.” One of the others asked.
However, Fang paused in the air as his face carried a frown.
Fang looked to be a middle-aged man.
He had a thick black mustache and a cleanly shaved jaw.
He was a very skinny man, but no one thought he was a pushover.
“AHHHH!!!” Fang suddenly screamed to the sky like a deranged wild animal.
“Those bastards! We do their bidding, and they still attack us behind our backs!
“Huh!?” The other Magi watched him in surprise.
To them, Fang was speaking words that did not make sense.
“Senior Fang, what is the matter?” Another one asked.
“It’s the town. Our school is under a demon attack!”
“WHAT!” they all screamed.
“But that can’t be! Demons should not be able to enter our territory. Even they cannot disobey such a pact.” One of the Magi added.
Fang shook his head. “I don’t know what is going on, but my son just notified me that the town is in trouble. Demons are attacking. Killing everyone.”
“Those nasty demons send us such crazy errands and attack our home when we are out?” One Magi added.
“We need to get back immediately!” They looked at one another and nodded at this suggestion.
Instantly, they all turned around, leaving Victor and his guards with the opportunity they needed to escape to safety.
On the other side, Lenny was not aware that the string of fate had just changed because of him.
At the moment, he was sharing the venom of his bullets with the Magi like he was distributing candy during Halloween.
Slowly, Perseus woke up to the sound of chaos happening all around him.
Gunshots went up in the air like a military burial ceremony.
Seeing that it was Lenny fighting, he wanted to join up, but once more.
~DUMM~
Lenny gave him another hit at the back of his head. Fainting him again
“You stay down, boy! Daddy has this one taken care of. Hahaha.”
He laughed wildly.
These Magis were unlucky.
Even though the points that they provided Lenny were miserable at best, Lenny was too greedy for power to let even one of them go.
He was even still vexed about the one Perseus killed before him.
After all, every kill gave points.
These were points that could become very handy in the future.
These Magi were quite unfortunate.
Lenny was not even running out of bullets.
All he did was kill them and then exchange their bodies in the market for more bullets and guns.
At first, he used just pistols.
However, it was becoming much more fun, and he decided to experiment with the other guns.
