Chapter 379 Lady Vinegar! No, Ladies Vine And Gar
“And that is what he said, Lady Vinegar!” Butler Basket Face recounted the events of the day to Lady Vinegar.
“WHAT!? He sold me to Cuban!? That fucking, dickless Wanker?” Lady Vinegar cursed harshly.
At the moment, it was nighttime, and they were in the confines of her weirdly decorated and shimmering room.
However, this room was divided into two with a red tape that ran from the ground all the way to the ceiling and back again, joining the other side.
This was the same thing for the bed.
One half of the room was decorated with conventional dazzle and glamour, pink and flowers, and on the other side, it was red and black.
It had weird, graphic, bloody paintings on the walls, and it looked like the room of a very rebellious child. 𝘦𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝑙.
With just a single red line, the entire room contrasted itself heavily.
Right now, Lady Vinegar is dressed in a full-floor-length red gown.
However, unlike when she dressed in public, there was no veil over her face, and she swore an incredibly great deal—nothing like the virtuous image she presented in public.
Her red eye shone brighter than the green, and the long snakes that formed her hair flared up in agreement with her anger.
“How dare him? Just because he is my father, does he think that he can screw with my life? And to think he actually called me a fucking virgin. Basket face, do I look like a dry cunt virgin to you?”
Basket face raised a brow at the question. Obviously, she did not expect him to answer.
“The hell, what do I look like, Vine? I’m not a fucking virgin. Gar is the Virgin.” Vinegar turned to Basket Face, “And why did you not defend me, Basket Face?”
“When he sold you out, my lady, or when he called you a virgin?” Butler Basket face asked in his ever-polite tone.
“When he called me a virgin, of course. The other thing, I can just kill the fucking blood demon myself!”
Butler Basket face rolled his eyes. “I’m sorry, Lady Vinegar; I would rather not do that. The Governor is on a tight rope with his anger because of the recent events.”
“Yeah! Yeah!! I understand. Also, I thought you knew the rules. No, call me Vinegar when we are together. My name is Gar! You got it?”
She instructed aggressively.
Butler Basket face nodded accordingly as he rolled his eyes at this most beloved Princess of the Waterfall City.
Unlike the rest of her family, that had been born in pairs, Lady Vinegar was not.
It was rumored that one half consumed the other within the womb of their mother.
Aside from Butler Basket Face, no one else knew how true this statement was.
After all, Lady Vinegar was bipolar.
One half of her was calm, collected, refined, respectful, and very virtuous. However, the other half of her was a total violent rebel.
It was practically two souls in one body.
Both souls had a deal with themselves.
Vine would rule by day, while Gar would rule by night.
Over the many years, this was not just a simple deal. It happened naturally, as each soul would become stronger and dominate over the other when it was their time to rule the chosen hour of the day.
Even though it was the same body, the two of them considered themselves to be exactly different individuals, and as ridiculous as it sounded, they even fought at times.
One such time was when Gar sneaked out at night to go lose her virginity to a certain Gladiator she thought was too hot to resist.
Butler Basket face had long ago come to accept this difference.
After all, they were indeed very different. Even the abilities they displayed at different hours of the day were different.
“And to think that he even wants to kill my pretty prince just to build is fucking power,” Gar gritted her fiercely as she stumped her foot on the ground.
“Unacceptable! Absolutely unacceptable!!”
Just then, a different, more refined voice came from her reflection off a mirror: “Hahaha! That is what you get for not telling me before you went ahead to fornicate with him!”
Gar looked at the reflection of herself. On the other side was Vine.
She stamped her feet as she walked up to the large mirror.
“This is all your fault, Vine. If you had just listened to me and fucked up that Cuban when we had the chance, all this wouldn’t have happened.”
“Me? How is it my fault?” Vine asked, feeling wronged, “We both know that he is of a royal family, and Father has use for him. Besides, if I remember clearly, I did help you to spare that Vermin’s life that day at the arena when he tried to escape with a Magistri. If I had not suggested to Cuban that he was useful, perhaps none of these things would have happened. I still can’t believe you let that barbaric animal touch you!”
“Barbaric!? You have as much attraction to him as I do. The difference is that I have no problem admitting it. After all, was it not from your eyes that I watched him meticulously carve out that Gladiator’s skin? I know how you felt. I could feel your legs moistening up.”
As both women argued with one another, Butler Basket face stood at a corner.
From his perspective, all he could see was his young lady arguing with a mirror.
She looked like a mad person screaming at her own reflection.
“Oh, how dare you? My legs were not moist. I do not relate to half-born barbarians. Like some Wasteland slut like you. Besides, he is just a trashy lesser demon of rank 3.” Vine added.
“Oh! Little Miss, perfect my ass. So if he is not a noble or royalty, then he is not worthy of you.”
“Exactly my point,” Vine nodded.
“I can’t believe you are so dumb. Even you have to admit that MY pretty prince is an incredible man. He even brought down an entire city on his own.”
“TOWN!” Vine hastily corrected “And he wasn’t on his own. He wouldn’t have done it without the paraglider. The same one you freed on the night of the same day I captured it…”
