Chapter 236 Hunting A Demon Town
As the Chimera ant’s ate, their bodies went through physical changes.
These creatures were already very adaptive.
Eating demon meat naturally meant an evolutionary change.
Those that crawled before suddenly sprang out wings from their bodies.
Thkse that had wings already, grew better ones and even deadlier weapons.
Lenny turned to Insect-B.
“Do not be bothered father. I made sure to already give particular commands they cannot disobey as a part of their fundamental genetic make up.”
Lenny nodded, “good! Then let them go into town. Let them kill everything that lives or breaths, and if there is any demon they cannot bring down, forward such information to me. I’ll take care of the bastard myself.”
Insect-B nodded as she waved her hands.
The insects that had evolved, many of them still shedding and changing their skin all beat their wings fiercely as they rushed into the town.
Just like any city, not everyone fancied going to a football game.
Lenny was sure that they was twice the number of demons here as they were in the town area.
He wanted all of them dead.
This place, this town known as Spring town would be the first place of his retribution.
He would establish the first push back by humanity against the oppressive forces of the underworld.
This world did not belong to them, he was going to take it by any means necessary.
As the insects flew high into the sky, many others rushed out the hike in the ground and munched on the bodies of the dead demons.
Nothing was going to be left behind.
For this task, Lenny emptied out the entire Chimera colony under the town.
After all, there was enough bite to go around.
Crusher was in a corner appraising Pincers that had been brought to him by a crab like insect.
Some where too small, and some others too big.
Lenny turned to Crusher, “you missed the first part of the fun, are you going to miss the next?”
Crusher gave a loud chuckle, “hell no! I have been waiting for this day my whole life.”
“Good! Your weapons will not cut through demon hide. Try this one.”
Lenny threw Manta’s Hammer hand through the air, and crusher immediately caught it.
The moment he did, he could feel the quality of Darkline energy coursing through it.
Truly, this was an incredible weapon.
He instantly discarded the idea of using the pincers that he planned.
This hammer Lenny had given him was going to be enough for the fun.
Both men mounted winged Chimera ants.
As they did, Hector, Athena and Persus followed along, mounting Chimera ants.
The Chimera ants flapped their wings as fast as mockingbirds, lifting into the sky and rushing for the Town areas.
As they did, Athena noticed that some of the Chimera ants carried certain carriages, and some others carried what she was sure we’re people wrapped in cobwebs.
She turned to Lenny, “What are those?”
Lenny chuckled, “a secret weapon.”
The spring town was very huge, and although it was called a town, it’s scale was enough to be called a mini City.
Once upon a time, this town like anuly other, had a Mayor. 𝚍o𝚟𝚕.org
Which of course, was a demon.
But demons were very respectful of power and the moment Cuban advanced to Deep demon level 2, the mayor fled the town that he had an assignment to do somewhere else.
In truth, he was afraid that Cuban was going to challenge him for the position of Mayor and was willing to retain the name but vacate the position.
After all, He was only a Rank 1 deep level demon.
Even though Cuban never issued an official challenge, he never showed his face again.
As time went on, Cuban’s power grew, and as the strongest power in the Spring town, he became it’s unofficial ruler.
When he climbed to rank 3, his word had become law.
However, this was also a flaw on his part.
For the sake of power and supremacy, Cuban was the only Deep level Demon in Spring town.
All the others were At level six and below of the lesser demon realm.
As they flew over the demon homes.
Lenny could not help but admire the craftsmanship of these demons.
Their homes looked like a mixture of ancient Chinese homes mixed with a blend of Ancient Egyptian.
Yet, it was bold, as of to display the superiority of this specie to the rest of the world.
The balance was so incredible that Lenny wondered what it would feel like to live in such a beautiful environment.
Yes! Beautiful.
Whether it was the lay out or the style, it was all beautiful.
Truly, for a race that believed strongly in destruction, they had incredible taste in architecture and design.
Too bad it was all going to end in rubble.
…..
“Hey, I’ll give you two Branded marked Human skin of the middle age for that beast meat.” One demon haggked with another demon.
This was a demon market and they was everything on display.
From mutated beast meat to human meat of different ages, it was all for sell.
“Huh!” The butcher selling the meat frowned. “Are you fucking with me, 2 Branded marked Human skin of the middle age cannot even buy that new born baby head,” he pointed to a baby head that had been fried well and sauced appropriately for sale, “and you are asking for a full five kilograms of beast meat. If you are not willing to buy, then just say so.”
The other other demon chuckled a little, “okay, okay, don’t be like this. This is not the first time I am buy from you. Can’t you cut me some slack. How about you give me the Baby head as a bonus then I’ll buy the mutated beast meat for 5 Branded marked Human skin.”
The butcher suddenly smiled, exposing his saw teeth, “Now you are talking.”
He brought out a bag made out of dried human skin to pack up the meat for the customer.
It was at this point that he heard the loud buzzing sounds and looked to the sky…
