Destined with You
Chapter 2656 - 2671: Heaven, Earth, Never Abandon (6)
"Wow, what a big teddy bear!"
Generally, the prizes offered by these vendors aren’t very good, but they’re good enough to attract people, and the best prize here is an adult-sized white bear.
"Do you like it?" Beiming Han looked down affectionately at the little girl in his arms.
"I like it!" Baobei nodded vigorously, answering crisply.
"I’ll get it for you!" Beiming Han said and then asked, "How much does it cost to play once? How do we play?"
Baobei curiously stared with big eyes at the two aunts and uncles across.
"Ten bucks for five shots," the woman quickly explained.
Because of the arrival of these four people, the number of people in front of their stall multiplied several times.
"Do you need to break twenty balloons to get that bear?"
"Yes, that’s the best prize we have here. Miss, you have a good eye," the woman replied with a full smile.
"Leng Chi, pay the money," Beiming Han picked up a gun, which was loaded with bullets.
Leng Chi immediately handed over forty bucks to the other side.
"Shouldn’t you pay a bit more? What if he’s off target? Then you won’t get the bear, will you?" Xia Tian looked up at Leng Chi.
"Don’t worry, young master," Leng Chi stepped back.
Gu Qingxin just watched without expressing any opinion.
"How many of these bears do you have?" Beiming Han asked.
"Two," the other party answered immediately.
Beiming Han nodded, holding Baobei in one arm, while his other hand lifted the toy gun and began shooting at the balloons opposite.
"Bang bang bang bang..."
Each shot hit, and the stall owner and the onlookers couldn’t believe his shooting accuracy.
It’s known that there’s usually some trickery in these places; generally, hitting three out of five is good enough, but this man popped one balloon with each shot.
Soon, all twenty balloons were popped, and they were next to each other.
Moreover, he didn’t even use up all twenty bullets.
"Bring the prize over," Beiming Han put down the gun and extended his hand.
The stall owner promptly took down the large white bear and obediently handed it over to Beiming Han.
He brought the big white bear in front of Baobei and said, "This is for you."
Baobei widened her eyes, looking at the giant object in front of her, and reached out to poke its face.
"Oh, little miss is so lucky, your dad is so good to you," the female stall owner said with a tinge of envy in her voice.
Gu Qingxin’s face darkened, and she quickly corrected, "You’re mistaken, they’re not father and daughter."
"Not father and daughter? How can that be? They really look alike!" the male stall owner spoke up.
Gu Qingxin felt like exploding; how did they see that Baobei and Beiming Han looked alike?
Baobei clearly looks like her!
She felt relieved about this; even if Beiming Han saw Baobei, he couldn’t possibly suspect that Baobei was his daughter, unlike Xia Tian, whose face was unarguable at a glance.
"Uncle Han, are you really my daddy?" Baobei looked at him a bit bewildered.
"Baobei, I..." Beiming Han’s throat felt blocked, wanting so much to tell her that he was indeed her daddy.
"Baobei, don’t say such things," Gu Qingxin walked over to try to take her into her arms.
"Mommy... But..." Baobei looked aggrieved.
"No buts, this uncle doesn’t know the situation, let’s go," Gu Qingxin wanted to leave.
Beiming Han grabbed her arm and said, "Wait a moment."
He had Leng Chi pay again, picked up another gun, and this time, he burst forty balloons in one go...
