Destined with You
Chapter 2489 - 2504: I Won’t Like You Anymore 7
Huangfu Ye mentioned the location, and Beiming Han instructed him to stay put. He would be there soon.
Huangfu Ye obediently parked by the roadside and waited.
Baobei continued glaring at him fiercely. Huangfu Ye awkwardly coughed and said, "You... you don’t have to look at me like that... I’m good friends with your daddy and mommy."
"You’re a bad guy, I know you’re a human trafficker, you’re going to kidnap me." Baobei couldn’t hold back anymore and raised her hand to wipe her eyes forcefully.
"No, no, no... Uncle isn’t a trafficker, Uncle wouldn’t kidnap you. Uncle just... just wants to play with you." Huangfu Ye was sweating. How did he look like a trafficker?
Baobei ignored him and suddenly started crying. The sound of her soft crying was almost too much for Huangfu Ye to bear.
Luckily, Beiming Han arrived in time to rescue him.
Beiming Han entered, and without a word, picked up Baobei. Baobei lowered her hand and seeing Beiming Han, widened her eyes again.
"Super Uncle, you came to rescue me again." Baobei was now more convinced than ever that Beiming Han was an omnipotent superhero who saved people in times of danger.
However, upon second thought, something wasn’t right, Super Uncle didn’t like her at all.
Thinking of this, Baobei’s mood dropped again.
Beiming Han looked at the little girl’s pitiful appearance, her long lashes hanging innocently, making her look especially pitiable. His heart softened completely.
But when he thought about holding Rong Qianchen’s child, his mood became twisted.
Reaching the roadside, Beiming Han put Baobei down and said, "Today’s event was an accident; the uncle who brought you over is someone I know."
Baobei looked up at him and suddenly started coughing.
Baobei was naturally frail, so her coughs were weak, but each cough seemed to pound on Beiming Han’s heart.
"How are you?" Beiming Han worriedly knelt down. He felt he might be having a mental breakdown; he shouldn’t like this little girl, yet his heart told him he liked her, liked her very much.
Baobei shook her head, her little face already reddened from coughing.
"I’ll take you back to find your mommy." Beiming Han picked her up again and got into his car.
In the car, Beiming Han gave Baobei some water to drink, which made her feel a bit better. Thinking that Super Uncle didn’t like her, she sat still, looking out the window.
From time to time, Beiming Han’s eyes would drift to her, his gaze unintentionally drawn to this little creature.
He frowned, puzzled by his own behavior.
Clearly, this little girl wasn’t his daughter, he shouldn’t have feelings for her.
Baobei stared gloomily out the window. When she saw the Ferris wheel across the street, her eyes lit up instantly. She turned her head and shouted, "Stop the car!"
Baobei’s voice was weak, but the driver heard it and obediently stopped the car.
Beiming Han didn’t have time to hold the driver accountable for this negligence; he looked at Baobei and asked, "What’s the matter?"
Immediately after asking, he realized his tone was too gentle, and his expression turned colder.
"Is that an amusement park over there?" Baobei was so excited she didn’t care about his cold attitude.
Beiming Han glanced and said, "Yes, is there a problem?"
"Super Uncle, I know you don’t like me. From now on... I won’t like you anymore." Baobei turned her head back and looked at him seriously.
Beiming Han’s heart was wrenched, especially when the little girl said she ’wouldn’t like him anymore’, he had a feeling of loss so intense it felt suffocating...
