His visit to the sect grounds of Cult Of Asmodeus proved to be fruitful. Not only did he get to establish the beginning of proper connections, but he also got to prove himself by completing the first challenge of the lowest chambers. Although the challenge was easy for him, it wasn’t easy for most, so this should have definitely shown that he had a certain affinity with Asmodeus, which was great for the future of his ties to this particular sect.

His next visit would be to Cult Of The Heart Of Darkness, the sect Zhenluo was closely associated with. Based on this, he already had an advantage when he would pay them a visit. His elder Alrinir had spoken plenty of good about him to them through letters, or so she had told him.

As such, coming to a nice agreement with them should be quite simple, even if there wasn’t much he had to offer them on account that they weren’t focused on dual cultivation at all... He also lacked an affinity for darkness. Nonetheless, he was certain that they and he would be able to shake hands in a friendly manner.

That would only leave Xiaode Mountain sect…

Commoners only knew it as a sect with a strong focus on Rococolis. Disciples there would use techniques to transform themselves into, or join it due to being natural Rococolis. It was a strong sect, but one that had never been called upon when soldiers had been needed in the past.

It was likely that many of the disciples Journomanpian sects had sent had actually been eliminated by disciples from Xiaode Mountain Sect. They were like a hidden layer of security on top of the more overt ones.

It was a powerful sect without a doubt, but still one that required the support of the Elt clan due to the second reason the crown hadn’t called upon them even during dire times in the distant past–Their ‘focus’ went beyond Rococolis.

If it stopped at Bloomins, most people would just shrug, but Xiaode Mountain Sect did not stop there, as they also targeted Immunubils. One reason could be easily explained as the fact that they simply had no qualms about scouring for Valless Immunubils and Bloomins to recruit into their sect.

It would be explained quite easily by the fact that Immunubils and Bloomins had a much easier time with the transformation techniques of the sect due to already having the looks to be Rococolis. Thus requiring far fewer changes to fit the bill.

Unfortunately for their reputation, it was far from the only reason why they were actually the number one creators and funders of homes for the Valless. They were known for providing unlawful services involving both Immunubils and Bloomins.

It was apparently quite an effective business despite how risky it was for the clients. Of course, if Xiaode Mountain Sect didn’t have the backing of the Elt clan, it simply wouldn’t exist. Or at least, it wouldn’t be a sect that was known. They would be underground and much smaller.

For this reason, it is also a sect quite talented in collecting blackmail information using honeypot tactics. Edrick heard that quite a few rowdy characters quickly calmed down after falling victim to their schemes.

Anoteros needed to be careful when visiting. Especially since, with his reputation, not only would people assume that he would have some fun there, but the sect itself was likely to make the offer, and the scion was frankly uncertain what he should do if that were to happen.

After all, he had bedded quite a few Bloomins and had had no qualms about it, despite the fact that Bloomins of this world would have been considered Immunubils in his former world, and he had never made the jump before arriving here.

He supposed that he had merely adapted to the local customs without flinching, but actually walking over the line of this world felt odd. He didn’t know whether he should cross it or not. Especially since it was a type of activity that could genuinely be troubling to his plans if it came to be known.

…Anoteros was more worried about his plans being disturbed than the actual act itself. After all he had already done, it felt a bit silly to draw a moral line here of all places. With all that he had already done, it was perhaps even quite tame.

After all, it would just be bedding an Immunubil, and to him, the very first Viots and murders he had committed right after taking over this body were worse. After all, he had brutalised his victims until death ensued, and to him, death was the true worst fate of all.

If he didn’t believe so, he wouldn’t have been a killer in his past life. To him, the spreading of death felt so invigorating precisely because it was what he believed to be the worst slight one could commit against their fellow man.

He whistled as he sat in the carriage that had brought him to Cult Of Asmodeus.

‘With the current path of depravity I am on, it is only a matter of time until I have tried everything that even seems mildly alluring or interesting to me, but the question is whether I should bed an Immunubil the second I am given an occasion to?’

‘The ones at Xiaode Mountain Sect are probably the best one can get. Mmh… They probably have Rococoas as well… I might be better off waiting until my influence and reputation are high enough that even that wouldn’t be able to harm my standing’

Well, since I can’t really push you to the limits of your depravity considering that you have already pushed past those limits yourself, I tried to take the quests toward a more typical ‘challenge’ route

Now, the quests can be a bit different. For example, they can be refreshed every week if you don’t find the three offered interesting, and you have to select one quest at a time to complete. In rare cases, you can name a reward you would like, and an appropriate quest will be generated with what you desire as a reward

There aren’t any direct penalties if you decide to abandon a quest, but the rewards associated with it will be made rarer, so if there was something like an innate ability, getting it after abandoning a quest with it as a reward will be much harder

This can actually be quite problematic in the case of rare single-use items like elixirs of inversion

Reward = Massive increase to your fertility (Full Passive)

3/ Pleasure yourself to completion one thousand times

Reward = Masterful Stroke (Innate Ability)
