Chapter 906 - 401: The Essence of the Law of Destiny

Rules also have categories, and can basically be divided into two types: [Heavenly Dao Rules] and [World Rules].

[World Rules] are Rules that are naturally born from a world; cultivating these Rules is walking the path of the Star God.

The difference between [World Rules] and the [Heavenly Dao Rules] that Gods master lies in this: once [World Rules] leave their origin world, they become constrained, their Effect greatly diminished, whereas Heavenly Dao Rules are valid throughout the Cosmos, the most supreme of all Rules; only by mastering Heavenly Dao Rules can one attain the Level of [True God].

Once a Heavenly Dao Rule is grasped by someone, it becomes almost impossible for those who come after to fuse with it. The Heavenly Dao Rules that remain unfused now are already extremely few; just finding one is unimaginably difficult, let alone fusing with it.

Every year, Pseudo-Gods and Star Gods are born in the Life Domain, but across a Cosmos with untold numbers of civilizations, in nearly a thousand years, there has been only a single newly arisen [True God]!

This is why the status of a [True God] is far, far above that of all secondary Gods.

And even within Heavenly Dao Rules, there are Levels; the height of the Level determines the Tier of the God himself.

For example, Level of [Divine King] such as the Rules of Life, Destruction, and Transformation, then beneath them the [Main God]–Level Rules such as Blood, Withering, and the Rule of Imitation, and further below, even more finely divided [God]–Level Rules.

The so-called Supreme Rules are those that are even more Advanced than [Divine King]–Level Rules, transcending all other Rules, and can even be said to be the Rules that form the origin from which all Rules are born!

"Time-Space, Destiny, Creation, and Taiyi." Chu Xiu said.

"Correct," Xie Xuanzhao nodded. "These four Rules each represent a kind of origin Power."

"[Time-Space] is in charge of the physical structure of the world we reside in, and governs gravity among the four Foundation forces."

"[Creation] refers separately to creation and Transformation, and governs electromagnetism, strong nuclear, and weak nuclear—the remaining three Foundation forces. By relying on the Transformation of these three forces, it can create all things in existence."

"[Taiyi] serves to provide the initial Energy of the entire Cosmos, and is also the only Rule that can ignore Energy conservation, creating or annihilating Energy out of nothing in this world."

Xie Xuanzhao’s words left Chu Xiu with a look of surprise.

He had originally thought Rule Power was some kind of Extraordinary Power that could ignore physical constraints; he hadn’t expected its underlying principle to be this... ’scientific.’

However, according to what Xie Xuanzhao said, with Time-Space, Creation, and Taiyi, one can already reproduce everything in this world—so then, what is Destiny?

Under everyone’s puzzled gazes, Xie Xuanzhao said slowly, "As for the last, [Destiny], its core essence is ’quantum’."

"True randomness, on the other hand, means it cannot be predicted by any method; it is random from the bottom-level logic itself—randomness that is random."

Xie Xuanzhao said, "Almost no one can delve deeply into the quantum Domain, so to the overwhelming majority of people, this world is deterministic, and living in such a world doesn’t feel wrong in any way."

"Then doesn’t that mean a person’s thoughts are merely the mutual interaction of neural currents and hormones? As long as you know the state of every particle in this body and the influence of the Outer World upon it, you can Precisely predict the changes in this person’s thoughts?"

"Pushing it further, doesn’t it mean that as long as you know the particle state of the entire Cosmos, you can predict the Cosmos’s future? That is, our Cosmos was already determined the instant it was born; everything you think and feel right now could be predicted and derived from that initial moment of the Cosmos’s birth?"
