Chapter 512: Chapter 509: Forceful Restraint

"Mmm..." She let out a soft, unconscious hum. Her body swayed slightly, and the drunkenness made her gaze even more hazy, as if veiled by a layer of mist.

Hua Han immediately reached out to steady her, pulling her soft body into his arms.

The warm, soft, fragrant woman in his arms, carrying the alluring scent of wine, made his Adam’s apple bob unconsciously. His voice grew low and husky. "Wanwan... are you drunk?"

He asked, already knowing the answer. Deep in his eyes, however, was a complex struggle at odds with the intimate atmosphere of the moment.

Bai Wanwan leaned lazily against him, entrusting her full weight to his embrace. She just gave a mumbled "Mmm." Her warm breath, carrying the cloying scent of wine, brushed against Hua Han’s neck like a feather’s gentle caress, sending a faint shiver through him.

Hua Han’s heart skipped a beat, but he quickly forced the feeling down.

He carefully swept her up into his arms and walked with steady steps toward the enormous, soft pearl shell bed in the center of the room. With every step, he mentally reviewed and solidified his plan.

He gently laid her down on the bed, which was draped in soft Jue Sha, his movements exceedingly gentle, as if handling a fragile treasure.

Her cheeks, flushed from the wine, were like the most beautiful Coral, and her slightly parted red lips were an invitation for a kiss.

Hua Han gazed at her, a flicker of genuine fascination and reluctance crossing his eyes.

He leaned down and gently kissed her.

"Ngh..." Bai Wanwan whimpered softly. She didn’t resist. Instead, driven by the alcohol, she instinctively sought comfort, subconsciously lifting her somewhat weak arms to wrap around Hua Han’s neck in response.

It was a response sweet enough to drive any male wild.

Hua Han’s body tensed instantly. A powerful impulse surged through him—an urge to throw caution to the wind and continue, to completely possess this female he had desired for so long.

His breathing grew heavier, and he nearly lost himself in the kiss.

But just as his reason was about to be overwhelmed by desire, he abruptly remembered his plan... and Jiao Yin.

He brutally suppressed the urge to deepen the kiss, keeping it gentle and shallow. Inside, however, a fierce battle raged as he waited for the expected interruption.

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before—

BANG! BANG! BANG!

There was a series of frantic knocks on the door!

The sound was loud and urgent—the prearranged signal.

Hua Han froze, forcing himself away from her sweet lips.

But then, with extreme reluctance, he lingered, pecking the corner of Bai Wanwan’s mouth a few more times before resolutely standing up and striding to the door.

He yanked the door open, his face already arranged into a perfectly feigned look of urgency.

"What are you doing here?"

Outside the door stood Jiao Yin, his face a mask of anxiety. He was breathing hard, his ice-blue eyes filled with pure worry, and he instinctively tried to push his way inside.

"Where’s Wanwan? How is she? Jiao Yue said she was hurt?" Jiao Yin asked urgently, his gaze trying to peer past Hua Han into the room.

He shifted to block part of Jiao Yin’s view and deliberately lowered his voice, creating an air of gravity:

"She’s... badly hurt. She’s resting now."

Hearing the words "badly hurt," Jiao Yin’s expression changed instantly. He was in no state to scrutinize the oddities in Hua Han’s words and actions.

Frantic with worry, he immediately pushed past Hua Han and hurried toward the inner chamber, his only thought to confirm Bai Wanwan’s safety.

Just after Jiao Yin entered the room, Jiao Yue’s figure peeked out slyly from around the corridor corner. He gave Hua Han a thumbs-up, his face breaking into the triumphant smile of a successful schemer. Not a trace remained of his supposed stomachache from before.

Hua Han stared at the closed door, his heart a tangle of mixed emotions—both the relief of a successful plan and an indescribable bitterness and sense of loss.

Jiao Yue lowered his voice and said to him, "My brother and I will be grateful to you for the rest of our lives!"

Hua Han leaned against the wall outside the door and slowly exhaled. "I’m doing this for myself, too."

’Does it hurt?’ ’Of course, it does.’

’This was supposed to be my long-awaited first mating with Wanwan, and now I’ve handed the opportunity over to another male with my own two hands.’

’I hope Jiao Yin steps up and seizes this chance to become Wanwan’s Beast Husband.’

’I know I’m a latecomer. Whether it’s the emotional foundation or my importance in Wanwan’s heart, I probably can’t compare to Zhu Xiu and Yin Ze.’

’I even have a vague feeling that the males in her core circle haven’t truly accepted me, not psychologically.’

’I need an ally—a powerful one who will stand on the same side as me.’

’And Jiao Yin—powerful, liked by Wanwan, and someone she has lived with before—is without a doubt the best choice.’

’Only by allying with Jiao Yin, by the two of us joining forces, can we perhaps win a greater share of Wanwan’s attention and long-term affection from her other Beast Husbands.’

’But for now, I can only bear this meticulously planned, bittersweet "sacrifice" alone.’

Inside the room, the scent of wine hung in the air. The faint, rippling light of the sea reflected off the figure on the shell bed.

Jiao Yin burst into the inner chamber, his frantic gaze immediately locking onto the figure lying on the enormous pearl shell bed.

A faint, cloying scent of wine lingered in the seawater, sparking a flicker of doubt in his mind, but his worry quickly overpowered it.

"Wanwan..." He hurried to the bedside, his voice filled with unconcealed urgency. "Where are you hurt? Is it serious?"

Lying on the soft Jue Sha, Bai Wanwan seemed to hear him. She shifted irritably, letting out an unconscious whimper.

She rolled over, and her robes, already loosened by her earlier movements, slipped down, revealing a wide expanse of smooth, pale shoulders, her neck, and her delicate collarbones.

Her cheeks were an unnatural shade of crimson, like ripe peaches. Her long, curled lashes fluttered slightly, and her red lips were parted, her breath carrying that alluring scent of wine and a hint of feverish heat.

Seeing that she only mumbled and didn’t answer, Jiao Yin grew even more anxious. He quickly leaned closer, wanting to check if she had a fever or any injuries.

His ice-blue eyes were filled with pure concern; he didn’t even have a chance to entertain any romantic thoughts.

However, the moment he drew near, Bai Wanwan, as if sensing a source of warmth, suddenly lifted her limp arms, wrapped them around his neck, and pulled him down forcefully.

Her strength was surprisingly great, carrying a domineering force that allowed no refusal.

"Wanwan? Stop fooling around. First, tell me where you’re hurt. Let me see..."

Pulled off balance, Jiao Yin had no choice but to brace his hands on either side of her to steady himself.

His voice grew deeper with urgency as he tried to get her to clear her head.

Before he could finish, Bai Wanwan tilted her head back, accurately found his lips, and initiated a kiss.

Jiao Yin’s pupils contracted. His thoughts froze.
