Delicate Villainess, Desperate Males – A Beast World Reverse Harem
Chapter 426: I Will Never Forgive You
Chapter 426: Chapter 426: I Will Never Forgive You
"And what does that have to do with me? Did I force you to bring me here?"
Bai Wanwan was furious, her eyes fixed on him in a glare.
He walked over to Bai Wanwan and squatted down, his gaze coiling around her like a venomous snake. "You truly are a heartless female!"
Suddenly, he shot out a hand and seized Bai Wanwan’s slender wrist!
His grip was so strong it felt like it would shatter her bones.
Bai Wanwan cried out in pain, struggling to pull her hand back.
But Roger’s gaze was fixed on the freshly marked beast totem on the inside of her wrist, still faintly red.
His eyes were crimson as he spoke, each word like a poisoned, icy blade:
"Originally! You were supposed to be mine! It was that damned Wandering Beast who tore you away from me!"
"Now I’m back! These marks... I will erase them one by one with my own hands!"
He gripped her wrist, nearly consumed by the flames of jealousy that fully ignited his paranoid, obsessive possessiveness.
The cold gurgle of the stream was the only sound in the gloomy cave, an eerie backdrop to the feeling of Bai Wanwan’s heart plunging into an icy chasm.
After the initial shock and terror subsided, her survival instincts and her desperate concern for her cubs and Beast Husbands took over.
’I have to find a way to escape!’
Bai Wanwan took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. Her voice was deliberately soft and tentative. "Roger,"
She looked him straight in the eye. "I know you... paid a great price to get me out of there. But have you considered who my current Beast Husbands are?"
She paused intentionally, observing his reaction. "Chou Rong, the new Clan Leader of the Tiger Clan; Jin Yi, the future Clan Leader of the Golden Lion Clan; Zhu Xiu, the mutant King Cobra; Xin Feng, Yan Lie, and Yin Ze... Every single one of them is a powerful High Rank Beastman. You know their strength and their tracking abilities better than I do."
Roger’s expression remained unchanged, but the tense line of his shoulders revealed that her words had hit their mark.
Seeing her opening, Bai Wanwan pressed her advantage, her tone taking on a hint of feigned concern for him. "Where could you possibly hide me? The Beast World Continent is vast, but with their power and determination, it’s only a matter of time before they find me."
She leaned forward slightly, her voice dropping to a softer, more alluring tone. "If you let me go now, I promise that when I get back, I won’t tell them it was you. I won’t let them cause you any trouble. We can just pretend... none of this ever happened. What do you say?"
In the firelight, Roger slowly turned his head.
His eyes held none of the wavering Bai Wanwan had hoped to see. Instead, they were filled with scorn and a knowing look that saw right through her ploy.
"Heh." He let out a short, cold laugh, the bonfire dancing in his eyes like a pair of dark, ghostly flames. "You cunning female. That clever tongue of yours has gotten even better at sweet-talking."
He stood up, his tall shadow completely enveloping Bai Wanwan, exuding an intense pressure. "I sacrificed the lives of dozens of converted beastmen and risked being torn to shreds by those lunatics to get you back. And you think you can just get rid of me with a casual ’let me go’ and ’we’ll forget it ever happened’?"
The corners of Bai Wanwan’s lips tightened, betraying her true feelings.
The next second, Roger leaned down and pinched her chin, forcing her to look up. "Bai Wanwan, in your dreams! Now that I have you, I will never let you go back! You... can only be mine!"
The paranoia and madness in his eyes, like poisoned needles, pierced Bai Wanwan’s last shred of wishful thinking.
Bai Wanwan knew that no matter what she did, he would not let her go.
Since all hope was lost, she decided to throw it all away. For the following days, she became taciturn, treating him as if he didn’t exist.
Roger moved them from place to place, and Bai Wanwan noticed the rivers they passed were growing ever wider.
"Where on earth are you taking me?"
Roger glanced back at her and scoffed. "Decided to speak, have you?"
"Roger, if you don’t let me go, you’ll come to a terrible end!"
The moment the words left her mouth, Roger shot to his feet. He closed the distance between them in a few strides, and with a forceful tug, her Jue Sha Skirt loosened, revealing a wide expanse of pale skin.
The composure Bai Wanwan had been desperately maintaining shattered. Losing control, she began to push and beat at him.
"Roger! You’re a madman! A pervert!"
The pent-up fear and anger erupted like a volcano.
She no longer held back, her voice shrill and filled with hatred. "Who do you think you are? A coward who only knows how to kidnap people with dirty tricks! You couldn’t defeat that Wandering Beast back then, and you can’t defeat my Beast Husbands now! What can you do besides skulking in the shadows and using those despicable puppets? You don’t even have the guts to pursue a female honorably! You’re nothing but a pathetic loser!"
She cursed him without mercy, each word a whip striking at the most fragile parts of his ego.
Roger’s face instantly turned livid, the veins on his forehead throbbing as fury blazed in his eyes.
"Shut up!"
He roared, slamming Bai Wanwan brutally against the cold stone wall.
The rough rock scraped against her bare shoulders, a searing pain flaring across her skin.
Roger’s heavy body pinned her, his breath washing over her face—thick with a potent male scent, aggression, and fury.
"Try cursing me again."
He gritted his teeth, easily pinning her struggling wrists with one hand. With the other, he brutally tore at the magnificent Jue Sha fabric that symbolized the sacred bond she shared with her Beast Husbands.
The Jue Sha, as thin as a cicada’s wing, tore with an overburdened RIIIP, exposing the pale skin underneath and the striking totem over her heart.
Roger’s gaze burned like a branding iron. He suddenly ducked his head, and a punishing kiss landed brutally on the side of her neck. His teeth bit into her delicate skin, leaving behind a sharp pain and a red mark.
Bai Wanwan thrashed desperately, kicking and clawing with all her strength, her nails digging bloody scratches across his face.
"Get off! Don’t touch me! Roger, you disgusting thing!"
Tears of humiliation and despair welled in her eyes, but she bit her lip hard to keep them from falling.
As she struggled, she felt Roger’s hand move to a more dangerous place. The reaction of his body was a clear sign of his impending loss of control.
Just at that critical moment, Bai Wanwan ceased her futile struggles.
She used every ounce of her strength to jerk her head up. Her eyes, brimming with tears and rage, were like burning ice as they bored into the depths of Roger’s savage gaze.
Her voice was no longer shrill but low and icy, laced with an absolute, unyielding finality—the resolve of someone willing to perish if it meant taking him down with her.
"Roger! If you dare to force me..."
She spoke word by word, her voice as clear and sharp as poisoned icicles. "I... will... never... accept... you!"
"I will hate you to my very core! Until the day I die! Or you die!"
Her words were like a bucket of ice water, instantly dousing the flames of Roger’s burning lust.
The body he had pressed against hers suddenly went rigid. He froze.
