Bai Wanwan smiled and nodded. "Of course I’m willing. I don’t have many friends in the Tiger Clan. If your Sister comes, we can help each other out. That would be great."

Her Beast Husbands all knew that Yin Ze and his sister had saved Bai Wanwan, so they had no objections to her proposal.

Besides, the Orange and Yellow Rank males in their party were strong enough to sweep through a large tribe. They wouldn’t fear them even if they encountered a flock of Eagle Beasts.

And so, the procession grew even larger.

The Tiger Clan Warriors tacitly formed a protective circle with the cubs sheltered in the center.

Since there were too many Beastmen to fly, and there was no rush anyway, Bai Wanwan decided to just take her time, letting the cubs play as they slowly made their way toward the Peacock Clan.

Traveling leisurely like this, sightseeing along the way, it took them two days to reach the Peacock Clan.

But Yin Ze didn’t pay it much mind. Right now, he just wanted to see his Sister as quickly as possible.

This was the longest he had been separated from her in years. He wondered if she had been doing well during this time.

He led the Beastmen toward the home where he and his sister used to live.

But they had only made it halfway when the Peacock Clan Leader and a group of Beastmen blocked their path.

"Yin Ze, why are you back?"

The Peacock Clan Leader’s expression was a little strange, something Bai Wanwan noticed at a glance.

"Yes. I came back to see my Sister. If she’s willing, I want to take her to live in the Tiger Clan."

The Peacock Clan Leader’s expression grew even more nervous. "Your Sister... she’s... she’s doing fine. Don’t worry."

Yin Ze nodded, not wanting to waste any more time with him, and tried to walk past.

The Peacock Clan Leader blocked him again. "Wait, Yin Ze, there’s something I need your help with."

Yin Ze frowned, clearly not wanting to waste his time here.

"Whatever it is, we can talk about it after I’ve seen my Sister."

The Peacock Clan Leader blocked him once more.

Watching this scene unfold, Bai Wanwan spoke up directly. "Peacock Clan Leader, you can just tell us. Did something happen to Sister Yin Mei?"

Hearing Bai Wanwan’s words, the color drained from Yin Ze’s face. Without waiting for the other Beastmen, he broke into a run, heading for his home.

After being called out so directly by Bai Wanwan, the Clan Leader’s face turned pale and ashen.

"I didn’t mean to hide it from you, it’s just that there was nothing we could do."

"Nothing you could do?" Bai Wanwan sneered. "Think carefully about how much Yin Ze helped you when he was in the Peacock Tribe. Now, tell me what happened to Sister Yin Mei. If you dare lie to me or leave anything out, I will have my Beast Husbands flatten your entire Peacock Clan."

Bai Wanwan’s face darkened as she continued to apply pressure. "I am not Yin Ze. I have no friendship or history with you. If anything has happened to Sister Yin Mei, I will make you pay the price!"

The Peacock Clan Leader was so frightened his face became even more unsightly. "I’ll talk! I’ll tell you right now! This has nothing to do with the Peacock Clan, please don’t take your anger out on us!"

"Just talk. As for whether the Peacock Clan is at fault, I will be the judge of that."

The Peacock Clan Leader opened his mouth, then closed it again.

Just as Bai Wanwan’s patience was about to run out, he sighed and blurted it out. "It’s Yin Mei... To lighten the burden on her family, she took the initiative to do many jobs that only males can do, even washing beast hides in the river every day. Then one day... a passing male took a liking to her."

From the Peacock Clan Leader’s explanation, Bai Wanwan learned what happened after they left: another male had taken an interest in Yin Mei, and her Beast Husband had been severely injured while trying to save her.

"How many days ago?" Bai Wanwan’s voice was strained.

But Yin Ze couldn’t hear a word he was saying. His mind was filled with the thought that it was his own negligence that had allowed his Sister to suffer this fate.

His eyes wide with fury, he roared at the Clan Leader, "Which clan is that Beastman from?"

"He’s a... Snake Beastman."
