Bai Wanwan immediately went back to browsing the shop.

In the "Daily Goods" section, she found pots and pans, bowls and plates—every kind of item imaginable.

In the "Home Goods" section, she also found mattresses, bedsheets, and even down comforters.

’These were my babies. My own cubs.’

’I’m a mother!’

The little fluffballs squirmed in her arms, nuzzling against her impatiently.

They nudged open the collar of her clothes.

Only then did it dawn on Bai Wanwan what the little ones were trying to do.

"Meeeew..."

In the gradually brightening cave, the smallest cub’s cries were faint and filled with longing.

In contrast, the cries of the two slightly larger cubs were deep and robust, sounding much more commanding.

’What do I do now?’ Bai Wanwan thought, completely at a loss. ’I’ve never been through this before.’

’How am I supposed to feed four cubs?’

Sensing her hesitation, the system reminded her, "Host, you can shift into your beast form to feed them all at once."

Her chest felt full, and the little ones, catching the scent, immediately latched on.

They each found a spot and began to nurse with gusto, even letting out possessive little purrs.

Xin Feng was awakened by the sounds. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was his young mate in her beast form beside him.

Her beast form was mostly white, with two tufts of black fur on her ears and the crown of her head, making her look exceptionally beautiful.

The little cubs suckled away, making loud SMACKING sounds.

Bai Wanwan gave him a lazy glance, hugging the cubs closer with her paws. "You should tidy up those things," she said.

Xin Feng’s attention had been so focused on her and the cubs that he hadn’t noticed all the new things that had appeared in the cave.

He put on his beast hide and walked over, only to find he didn’t recognize a single item.

Bai Wanwan looked at the things she had bought with her Points, feeling utterly satisfied.

"That’s called a sofa," she said, pointing to it. "It’s very soft and comfortable to sit on. Put it against the opposite wall."

Xin Feng immediately got to work. He easily hoisted the three-seater sofa, carried it across the cave in a few strides, and set it down against the wall.

The sofa was a pale green, adding a splash of color to the simple cave.

Bai Wanwan was very pleased and directed him to arrange the cushions and lay down the rug.

"And this little nest, put it on the rug. After the cubs finish eating, they can play in it."

Bai Wanwan continued to direct him as he arranged everything.

Because her Points were limited, the only furniture she had bought was the sofa and a small table.

The other household items included a mattress, a quilt, a down comforter, and the rug.

By the time the cubs had eaten their fill, Xin Feng, following her instructions, had already stuffed the down comforter into its duvet cover.

Bai Wanwan couldn’t wait. She shifted back to her human form, tossing aside the animal hide, and was about to get off the bed while holding the cubs.

Xin Feng hurried over, reaching out to take the cubs from her. Instead, his hand brushed against something exquisitely soft and warm.

It was only then that Bai Wanwan belatedly realized that in the process of shifting from her beast form and back to human, her clothes had slipped off to the side.

Xin Feng quickly pulled his hand back and averted his gaze. In the dim light, the tips of his ears flushed red.

He reached for the cubs again, nearly touching her in the process.

Bai Wanwan couldn’t help but chuckle. She simply picked up a cub and placed it in his hands. "Here you go."

Hearing her laugh, with the lingering sensation of her touch still on his hand, Xin Feng’s heart pounded like a drum.

Bai Wanwan watched his retreating back and smiled softly. She put on a set of thermal underwear and a down jacket, feeling wonderfully warm and comfortable.

She had only given birth yesterday, but after a night’s rest, she felt no weakness at all. In fact, she felt even more refreshed than before the birth.

She bent down to straighten the rug, then, satisfied, stood up to make the bed.

"I’ll do it," Xin Feng said, immediately walking over to stop her. "You just gave birth yesterday. You need to rest properly."

Since he was her Beast Husband, Bai Wanwan didn’t plan on standing on ceremony.

"Alright then," she said. "Put the mattress on the stone bed, then lay the quilt on top..."

Xin Feng followed her instructions one by one, quickly getting the entire stone bed ready.

The bedding set had a pattern in warm, comforting colors. Bai Wanwan couldn’t resist diving onto it and rolling around a couple of times.

The wind and rain howled bleakly outside, but inside the cave, surrounded by all these new things, Bai Wanwan felt exceptionally warm and blissful.
