Yan Lie dangled the freshly grilled, fragrant jerky in his hand, a cunning glint in his eyes.

Yan Lie didn’t rush to pick him up, which made the wolf cub even more impatient. He kicked his short little legs, letting out cries of "AWOO, AWOO."

His plan successful, Yan Lie grinned from ear to ear and snatched the wolf cub from Bai Wanwan’s arms.

The wolf cub got the meat he’d been craving and started gnawing on it with big bites. Seeing this, the other cubs nearby immediately swarmed over.

Ever since the weather had turned warmer, the males in the house had followed her request and hollowed out an entire giant log to make this spacious bathtub.

The tub was large enough for her to swim a few laps, but for the males, moving it was an effortless task, despite its size.

Suddenly, Zhu Xiu’s hands left her body. Finding herself free, Bai Wanwan immediately tried to swim forward.

But the moment she moved, a pair of powerful arms slipped under her armpits and effortlessly lifted her from the water, splashing droplets onto the ground.

"Mmm... just a little longer," Bai Wanwan whined softly, turning her head to look at him.

"The water’s cold. You’ll get sick if you soak for too long."

Not taking no for an answer, Zhu Xiu applied a bit of gentle force and lifted her out of the tub.

Bai Wanwan sat in the crook of his arm and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.

Her soaking wet body was still dripping, getting him completely drenched.

He didn’t mind in the slightest, but when his cheek brushed against her soft skin, his Adam’s apple couldn’t help but bob.

Still completely oblivious, Bai Wanwan mumbled, "In this weather, a little cold actually feels nice."

Zhu Xiu quickly grabbed a nearby animal-hide blanket, wrapped her in it, and began to wipe the water droplets from her body.

As his fingertips unintentionally brushed over the marks left by the other male, Bai Wanwan clearly felt his long fingers pause for a moment.

Zhu Xiu’s body fell down on top of her. His breathing instantly grew heavy, and those eyes, usually so calm and self-possessed, were now frighteningly dark.

"Stop playing around," he said, his voice impossibly hoarse. "You can’t take it."

’In truth, she had already used a pill from the system to recover her stamina. She deliberately squirmed in his arms now, wanting to see just how long he could restrain himself.’

He washed quickly. Before Bai Wan could get her fill of the sight, she saw Zhu Xiu already standing up from the tub.

As he stepped out of the tub, a glistening trail of water snaked across the ground in an alluring path.

Bai Wanwan had intended to tease him some more, but she was stunned by the sight before her.

She stared intently at the male’s magnificent physique.

Of course, Zhu Xiu saw the admiration and satisfaction in the little female’s eyes.

For a male, being stared at by his own female with such a gaze was undoubtedly the highest form of encouragement and praise.

Zhu Xiu’s gaze darkened. "Wanwan, turn away."
