His hands, no longer content to simply hold her, began to roam over her back, feeling her through the fabric of her clothes...

Bai Wanwan understood how he felt, so she let him be unrestrained for a moment. But when her clothes started to come loose, she grabbed his hand.

Panting slightly, her eyes sultry and alluring, she said, "Be good. Not right now."

Yan Lie’s heart was pounding. He felt that even if Wanwan wanted to eat him alive right now, he would just lie back and let her.

He would have no complaints as she devoured him, bite by bite.

"What’s wrong?" Her voice was delicate and soft.

Yan Lie quickly told her, "Wanwan, just now, Zhu Xiu was standing right there, watching us."

Her scalp tingled at his words. She immediately whipped her head around to look, but the mouth of the alley was empty. There was no sign of Zhu Xiu.

She felt a little guilty. "Are you sure you weren’t seeing things?"

"I’m sure."

Zhu Xiu led her to a stone stool in the middle of the room and had her sit down. Bai Wanwan stared intently at the three eggs in the nest.

The three eggs were just as still and silent as before.

"How do you know they’re about to hatch? They look the same to me!"
