The Clan Leader’s expression changed drastically. He turned to Mu Shan, his gaze severe. "Mu Shan, did you or did you not dispose of the Eagle Beast eggs properly?"

Mu Shan’s eyes darted around, and her voice was weak. "We... we did. She must have seen wrong. It couldn’t have been an Eagle Beast."

’Eagle Beasts usually hunt only in the wild and rarely invade our Beastman Tribe’s territory. She must be mistaken. It was probably just a bird.’

Xin Feng couldn’t worry about anything else. He turned to shield Bai Wanwan and the cubs, herding them toward the stone house.

An Eagle Beast noticed them and immediately dived in their direction.
