Bai Wanwan was covered in the smell of blood. She was about to get up to fetch some water, but Zhu Xiu had already brought it in.

Xin Feng was only halfway through washing his hands when he heard this. He abandoned the task and walked straight back.

"What’s wrong with Wanwan’s body?"

Zhu Xiu didn’t hide anything, telling Xin Feng what Wanwan had just told him.

"Do you think it’s true?"

Xin Feng was a little hesitant. Wanwan sometimes liked to tease them.

"Not great. I’m really sore," she said honestly, reminding him to be a bit more restrained next time.
