She sat up on the stone bed, clutching the blanket. Hearing footsteps outside, she tilted her head and called out, "Zhu Xiu?"

As soon as she spoke, Xin Feng’s figure appeared outside Zhu Xiu’s room.

"Wanwan, you’re awake?"

He strode in and casually picked up the dress by the stone bed to help her put it on.

Bai Wanwan slipped her arm into the sleeve, tilting her head to look outside. She lowered her voice and asked, "Is Zhu Xiu out there?"

Xin Feng smiled. "No, he went up the mountain first thing in the morning. He was worried I’d be too busy taking care of you and the cubs to hunt."

Bai Wanwan sighed as she pulled her dress closed and tied it.

"Why don’t you go too? It’s a good chance for the two of you to stock up on food over the next few days."

With so many males in the house, food consumption was immense. This was why Zhu Xiu had gone up the mountain first thing in the morning.

Not long after Xin Feng left, while Bai Wanwan was still eating her meat porridge, Shi Hua pushed the door open and walked in.

"Sister..."

Bai Wanwan looked toward the door and waved her over. "Come on in. Have you eaten?"

"I’ve eaten. Your Beast Husband just came to find me. He asked me to keep you company today and take good care of you and the cubs. He said he’d give me a share of meat tonight."

Bai Wanwan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. ’Xin Feng is really treating me like one of the cubs.’

"If he’s giving you a share, you should take it."

With that, she stood up and went to wash her bowl.

"I’ll grab the cubs, and we can go out and get some sun."

She went into the room, grabbed a large basket, and started picking up the cubs one by one to put them inside.

She had to use all her strength just to lift the basket a little.

"It’s only been a few days, and you’ve already gotten so big. How is Mama supposed to take you all out in the future?"

"It’s broad daylight. You just walked right in? Didn’t any beastmen try to stop you?"
