“Yes, why?” Beitang Tingxue also curiously pressed on.

“I guess it’s because she’s a relative of a criminal. “They all died?” Ye Xingbei asked in shock. “How could they all be dead?”

“The causes of death varied,” Gu Junzhu said. “Some died from illness; others died from fights within the prison.”

“That’s fake, isn’t it?” Ye Xingbei frowned. “All ten-plus people died, that’s too much of a coincidence. Even if some were ill and some got into fights, the death rate is still too high.”

“Indeed, someone must have acted to kill off those dozen people,” Gu Junzhu said. “Among the children trafficked by the crime syndicate, there were two from very affluent families, and their parents had influential backgrounds.”

Ye Xingbei nodded, “I understand now.”

Though she didn’t say it aloud, she felt that those people deserved to die.

Human trafficking and organ trading, they deserve death.

On the surface, he and Yang Zhaoqin appear to be from the same hometown, but we found an insider who said Yang Zhaoqin was unclear with Yang Shaotong even before her husband died.
