Chapter 4105: Precisely
Chapter 4105: Precisely
"Balance Breaker, uh?" Roan looked interested. "The same goes for the four of us, so it would be interesting."
"You are?" Dofrei asked, but then shook his head. "Of course, you are. That was an idiotic question. You aren’t planning to destroy any Universe now that you are Celestials, are you?"
The twins knew how the Balance Breakers could purposely cause the Universes to break down. Of course, they had absolutely no intention of doing such a thing. Not to mention that it was something that took time, and they would be found at the center of the anomalies.
"No fucking way!" Rean answered. "Even if the worst possible enemy was inside a Universe, we were definitely not going as far as destroying the Universe itself. Just how many lives that have nothing to do with us live inside each of them?"
Roan and the others agreed with Rean, nodding at Dofrei.
"That’s good then." Dofrei was happy to hear that.
Still, that made Kentucky curious. "Senior Dofrei, you seem to know a bit about the Balance Breakers. How many does the Werdlem Empire have at the moment?"
Dofrei pondered a bit. "I wouldn’t say I know much about it. Still, the Balance Breaker recruitment system has been in vigor for a very long time. You have those who died for whatever reason, and those who went to the Celestial Plane in the end. I would guess that the Werdlem Empire has around a hundred and fifty or so of them."
He continued. "Of course, that is only counting the Balance Breakers. I’m not taking their cultivation into consideration. If I did, I would say there are probably ten or so at the Peak Stage of the Celestial Realm."
Hick took from there. "You can’t forget that all Balance Breakers have heaven-defying talents, just like you bunch. That means, even if not at your speed, they still cultivate quite fast and have a much better chance of reaching the Celestial Realm. The fact that Dofrei believes that many of them are Peak Celstials is proof of that."
"Alright, let’s leave it aside for now," Dofrei changed the topic. "Hick, what are you planning to do with these guys?"
"Me?" Hick shook his head. "I have no control over them. We just made a deal where they would help recover my body, and I would help them with the Celestial Realm Breakthrough. Now, our deal is concluded. It is all up to them to decide what they will do from now on."
"It’s good that you know that," Roan commented.
Rean thought for a moment. "In any case, perhaps we should call Laiana."
"Laiana?" Hick was curious. "What would you need from the Charybdis Queen?"
Rean didn’t answer, instead taking his CD out. Instead of speculating, it was a lot faster to simply talk to Laiana directly.
Using now a different ID, which they acquired on their way to Dofrei’s territory, Rean connected to the Werdlem Network.
Back in F956, one of Yuan’s subordinates, someone who had access to the Werdlem Network, was waiting by Laiana’s side. He kind of became the contact between the Charybdis Queen and the twins since Yuan had many things to take care of.
"Hum?" The guy looked at the call, not recognizing the number.
"What is it, Dongo?" Laiana asked, having noticed his reaction.
Dongo, obviously the guy’s name, answer with respect. "Senior, we are receiving a call from an unidentified number. Only Master Yuan and your friends should know my number at the moment."
"Don’t worry. It’s them," Laiana answered.
Sure enough, Dongo answered the call, and Rean’s voice echoed. -Oh! We are through. Sorry for calling from a different number. The new Werdlem Energy Signatures we worked so hard to build became useless. So I had to create new ones.-
Dongo was surprised to hear that. Was it even possible to create new Energy Signatures? Of course, he remained quiet as Rean spoke to Laiana.
Laiana, unsurprised, didn’t mind it. "It is fine. Why are you calling me? Have you managed to reach the Celestial Realm?"
-Yes,- Rean answered. -All four of us are now Peak Stage Celestial Realm Experts, and we have all our Celestial Laws fully comprehended.-
Laiana wasn’t surprised before, but now... "WHAT?! Are you trying to fool me?"
-Well, some weird things happened, you know.- Then, Rean began to explain everything.
Only around an hour later did Laiana understand the situation. "Just... what is wrong with you guys?"
-Hey! That’s not our fault! It’s all this Destiny Attraction bullshit, alright?!- Rean complained, feeling like crying.
Laiana sighed, returning to the main topic. "Alright, alright... Dofrei, long time no see... or hear, perhaps. Hick too."
Dofrei joined the conversation. -Yeah, it’s been a while. -
And so did Hick. -Well, they already told you about me anyway. I just don’t know the reason for this call. They say their system can cover the tracks, so no one can find out. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have let them call you since we are in another Universe.-
"Don’t worry. They have called me plenty of times from other Universes. If they could be detected, my doorsteps would be filled with experts of the Werdlem Empire already," Laiana assured.
Rean took over once more. -Anyway, Laiana, you know why we are calling, right?-
Laiana obviously knew. Back then, Laiana told the twins that they could access the power of the Lisan Universe to open a gap in the Werdlem Empire’s Bubble. But first, they had to reach the Celestial Realm.
However, when Xyrath was found, he had a conversation with the twins and Laiana and explained that Laiana’s plan wouldn’t work anymore. So, the plan to use the twins’ status as Lisan Universe Owners to call the Lisan Universe’s Power to open a gap in the Bubble was discarded.
The reason was simple: the Bubble now made it impossible for the twins to even detect Lisan’s presence, even if they were able to use Celesital Laws like Laiana initially required.
That left the twins’ group with two options.
The first one was to follow Victor’s idea and try to get to the same place as Triaglia did. Triaglia was the previous Universe Owner of F956, the Regal Camazotz bat. By now, the twins’ group understood that this ’place’ Victor mentioned was, without a doubt, the Celestial Plane.
The second option was to follow the Primordial Beasts’ idea. Too bad they hadn’t heard much about it yet. Hick did know, though. The so-called Bubble Bursting Plan he discussed with Default before.
"So, you want to talk about whether it would be better to try to go to the Celestial Plane or to gather the Primordial Beasts, is that it?" Laiana asked.
"Precisely," and Rean confirmed.
