Chapter 3859: That Should Do
Chapter 3859: That Should Do
’Work with me here... why am I the only one left alone?’ Rean asked Roan, Kentucky, and Celis through their connection. And through them, so did Tanxan, Foliana, and Zangeshu hear him.
In the end, the twins’ group was separated into four.
Foliana and Celis went to the Korko Sect in Pantulia City.
Tanxan and Roan were sent to the Hazin Clan in Argui City, located in the neighboring country of Boscar.
Kentucky and Zangeshu were taken by a sect called Liantrel, famous for, lo and behold, its Formations Masters. Well, Kentucky didn’t know anything about Formations, but Zangeshu definitely did. This one was in the country of Trebiu, opposite to Boscar and Rean’s Riktu Country. Obviously, Rean’s hand was present in that deal.
Lastly, Rean was left alone with Donfug.
Of course, with the One Light Year range of the Celestial Soul System, the distance between those countries wasn’t even worth considering.
How did they end up like that? Well, it was pretty simple. During the night, Roan left to explore the city several times, and after finding suitable backgrounds, he created a situation where the members of those organizations ’coincidentally’ found the other members of his group.
Each one of those backgrounds obviously carried way more power than Donfug could ever hope to ignore. With the weight of their names behind their backs, they got Donfug to sell the members of the twins’ group, just like it happened with the Korko Sect.
Still, the twins’ group only had seven members. Rean, Roan, Kentucky, Celis, Foliana, Tanxan, and Zangeshu. Of these, only four of them could enter the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, so one of them was kept with someone who couldn’t.
Rean was the last one left alone, as there was no one else for him to take care of.
’If you’re feeling alone, you can always have Sister Orb,’ Roan commented. At the moment, he was on his way to Boscar Country, as he had been bought with Kentucky just an hour ago.
’I’m not that desperate!’ Rean countered.
[I should just close the Dimensional Realm and the system and leave you guys by yourselves for the next thousand years. Perhaps that way you will understand how awesome I am.]
’Anyway,’ Roan changed the subject, ’Every single one of you has everything necessary to make a name for yourselves.’
He continued. ’After we got a proper Werdlem Energy Signature, I had Sister Orb check the average cultivation speed of what you could call top geniuses. Tell them the result, Sister Orb.’
[Yes. So, for Level Nine and Ten talents, like you guys, it is pretty normal to reach the Transition Realm before the age of thirty. And, as you can imagine, those with enough luck can get there before the age of twenty.]
[However, that’s the case for the central area of the Divine Realm. We are in a remote location, where the resources are lacking heavily in comparison. Here, the Transition Realm for such talents is actually around the age of fifty. Not to mention, these ones always have a background to rely on most of the time.]
Of course, reaching the Transition Realm before fifty was even faster than the twins back in the Lisan Universe by several times.
[Naturally, that isn’t an iron-clad rule. There are always those who were lucky enough to find fortune while outside and managed to reach the Transition Realm by the age of thirty. They aren’t exactly extremely rare either. You can find a few of them in each average city every decade. That’s the power of a Rank A Universe.]
’And that’s another reason why I had us separate,’ Roan added. ’We are obviously going to look like the top geniuses who reach the Transition Realm before the age of thirty. But we couldn’t all appear in the same city, and even worse, as subordinates of the same person. Now, if such a thing happens far away from each other, then no one will care and will simply think we were lucky enough.’
[Exactly,] Sister Orb took from there. [From here onwards, pretend to be cultivating while cultivating your real levels. Take the missions and other similar tasks from your sects, clans, and such, and go out often. You need a pretext for your rapid cultivation, and you can always say you got lucky during your explorations and bla, bla, bla. Your backgrounds will love to see you growing faster. Just be careful with the politics behind them and try to stay clear of any of that bullshit.]
’Now, I organized three duos so everyone would have access to the Dimensional Realm at all times,’ Roan spoke more of the plan. ’As always, cultivating inside the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm is faster, thus this arrangement. I want every single one of you to make a name for yourself before you reach the Transition Realm. In theory, there shouldn’t be anything capable of killing you in this place, so I don’t wanna hear any excuses.’
’What about after we reach the Transition Realm?’ Zangeshu asked.
’At that level, we will have the authority to go out and stay away for long periods of time, saying that we are going to cultivate, explore something, and that kind of shit. Instead, we will focus on our own objectives."
"Zangeshu, Foliana, and Tanxan can do as they please, but they must keep cultivating until and after the Transition Realm. You guys don’t have the limitations of Starlight Energy, so if I see any of you lagging behind, I’m going to give you a special training menu. Believe me, you don’t want that.’
Those three felt a chill running through their bodies. They absolutely wouldn’t do that, especially now.
’As for Rean, Kentucky, Celis, and me, we can only wait. Once we ’get’ to the Transition Realm, we will go out after sources of Starlight Energy. Sister Orb is already keeping an eye on the Werdlem Network of this Universe and separating the best choices for us for when that time comes.’
’Now then,’ Roan passed his orders. ’I want monthly reports, and we will have our ’breakthroughs’ always around the same time. Any questions?’
No one said anything. That was the easy part, after all.
’Good, you are dismissed,’ Roan concluded.
Rean, who was alone in his room, opened his eyes. "Sigh... let’s see... I’m a slave trader subordinate, but that won’t do. I hate slavery, so I will end up liberating all enslaved people in this district eventually if I stay here. Besides, Donfug lacks the resources, so cultivating too fast under him would be hard to explain. Hum... Should I actually show my presence to some other power of this city?"
Rean looked through the window, and far in the distance, he could barely see the silhouette of a big palace. That was the City Lord’s State. Rean’s Divine Sense Spread all over the city, and he focused on that palace. "The City Lord State is a good choice. How will I approach it..."
A few hours later, he smiled. "That should do."
