Death... and me

Chapter 3853: Time to Move On

Chapter 3853: Time to Move On

There was one more thing Roan wanted to do when he got to a high-ranking Universe, and that was to stop hiding. That doesn’t mean he was going to reveal their identity as outsiders. Doing that was pretty much suicide. Instead, his idea was to make an appearance with a new ID and stick to it, grow with it, and be known through it.

Why that? Because there was only so much the twins’ group could do by hiding and using temporary fake IDs. For example, to travel to a Great Void Black Hole, some investigation would be involved. Roan intended to use the many years in a Rank A Universe to build a proper influence.

With the slot in their hands and a proper, known ID, they would have access to many more things.

The only question was how they would make that? It would be unusual if several Space-Time Realm experts suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started causing a commotion, especially in a Rank A Universe.

The answer to that question? Simple! It’s a Rank A Universe. It is absolutely enormous compared to any other Universe in the Werdlem Empire Bubble, except the Werdlem Universe itself. Rean would register new Divine Werdlem Stone IDs under everyone’s names.

In a Rank A Universe, fast cultivation was a given. Sister Orb already confirmed that such a Universe is overflowing with Divine Origin Energy naturally. It was so dense that it was almost on par with normal Divine Energy. Taking the Divine Realm in A1 Universe, for example. While the presence of Divine Energy was 100%, the presence of Divine Origin Energy was 90%.

How could you not cultivate fast in such a place? Not to mention that the density of those energies was ridiculously high, nothing the lower-ranked Universes could compare with. It was so high that Rank Seven Divine Stones were the entry-level currency there. You wouldn’t find a single Divine Stones mine in the Divine Realm of A1 that gave birth to Divine Stones of lower quality than Rank Seven at the very least!

Only the Werdlem Universe was better than that, with an equal 100% presence of both energies with even higher density, and the Divine Stones there being straight Rank Nine ones.

How did those Universes become like that? That was even more obvious: Chaos Origin Sources!

We have seen back in Lisan Universe how there were spaceships built for the sole purpose of stealing a Universe’s Chaos Origin Source, right? Well, the nine Rank A Universes in the Werdlem Empire’s Bubble have several Chaos Origin Sources. Only a single one of those was originally from those Universes. The rest came from other Universes that died as a result.

Anyway, Rean, Roan, and the others would first appear in some remote region of A1, and they would suppress their cultivation. That way, it would look like they were new cultivators and demon beasts who just got their Divine Werdlem Stones.

From then on, the twins’ group had two choices. One, take a Void Shattering Pill and pretend to have their cultivation grow to the Void Tempering Realm straight away. That’s the power of that pill, and in a Rank A Universe, such a pill was actually pretty easy to acquire.

However, using Void Shattering Pills also meant avoiding the entire cultivation path up to that point, so most cultivators would think it to be a dumb choice. That was the kind of thing only those without any talent whatsoever or who were lazy would take.

Roan had no intention of pretending to be weak anymore, so he discarded that idea. No, to be more specific, he would pretend to be strong, but not as strong as he actually was. Being underestimated was still very good, after all. He wanted to build a name for everyone, and being a pill user would not fit their plans at all. So, that left them with the second option: to suppress their cultivation and slowly unlock it in front of others, making it appear as though they were having breakthroughs.

"Fortunately, in such a Universe, it is pretty common for experts to reach the Void Tempering Realm even before they become thirty years old, such is the concentration of cultivation energies there," Roan commented.

Rank A Universes were no secret, and the Werdlem Network had plenty of information about their environmental conditions. It’s just that moving into one was a nearly impossible task. "You could say that the information is left open to motivate experts from other Universes to cultivate hard and one day manage to go there. I have to say, that is a perfect strategy to keep the Werdlem Empire strong as a whole."

He continued. "Anyway, top geniuses would reach the Void Tempering Realm before twenty, just for you to have an idea. That’s the kind of geniuses we will pretend to be. You have my pills and Rean’s Body Transformation Technique to help you pretend to be much younger and trick the powers around. You saw how efficient this combo is, so no one here has to worry about being found out."

"The plan is to reach the Void Tempering Realm before we are ’twenty’ and then ’leave’ together to cultivate and do missions and such. Joining a sect or some other organization would fit well into this plan, too. We can pretend to go on a journey or any shit like that. We will make appearances here and there from time to time, but with higher cultivation realms, pretending we have had breakthroughs. This is both a short-term and long-term plan. Short in the sense that we should ’reach’ the Space-Time Realm in less than three hundred years, and long in the sense that it will be a lie."

Foliana couldn’t help but feel excited. "Sounds great! Since we wouldn’t truly be cultivating, I can spend my time learning about the history of that Universe! I’m sure it can come in handy during our time there."

Roan didn’t mind. "You do you. Zangeshu and Tanxan will also be free to do as they please. For Kentucky, Celis, and me, our focus while pretending to be cultivating is to find a proper source of Starlight Energy. Just keep one thing in mind: do not reveal your cultivations at the Space-Time Realm before the right time. Remember, we were born there, and we are cultivating from scratch there. That’s our narrative."

Everyone nodded, and they began to make the preparations.

In the following weeks, while Kentucky and Rean used Spatial Gates to travel in the D33 Universe, the group discussed the many scenarios they could encounter. It was good that they had that free time to iron out the details of that plan.

Finally...

’Everyone, here we are,’ Kentucky’s voice echoed in the Dimensional Realm. Right in front of him, an empty location could be seen, completely deserted.

Of course, that wasn’t truly the case.

*Pin!*

[Abyssal Path Detected.]

This was the sight of an old and long destroyed Great Void Shifter. No traces of the shifter existed anymore, but the Abyssal Path would never disappear.

Roan came out, looking at the area with Rean, Kentucky, and Celis. "This is it then. Time to move on."
