Death... and me

Chapter 3712: Keep Talking

Chapter 3712: Keep Talking

Well, maybe that was a stretch. In F956, there were no Semi-Celestials around, but what about this F974 Universe? The twins weren’t sure. Still, if the enemy is only at the Divinity Realm, the twins were confident they could at least fight to a standstill or run away in most cases.

"You are too overconfident. You basically have the same cultivation as me," Reliance said, having seen the twins’ cultivation in the hotel.

"Whether you believe it or not is not a problem," Roan had a similar opinion to Rean. "All you need to know is that we won’t be in any danger. We have plenty of ways of surviving if things go south, believe me."

Reliance pondered a bit, and in the end, he nodded. "Is Kentucky hearing this, too?"

"You can bet I am," Kentucky’s voice echoed from the speaker in the room.𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Reliance continued. "You will probably be interested in this. I’ve met Minokawas in this Universe."

Kentucky quickly asked. "Were any of them called Ratria-ket or Ploto-Ume?"

"Hum?" Reliance didn’t remember such names. "I’ve seen a few, but none of them had those names."

Kentucky felt a little disappointed, but then Rean remembered something. "Kentucky, they might not be using their real names." Then, his voice echoed in Reliance’s room again. "Reliance, you said you met other Minokawas like Kentucky. Could it be because one or two of them came from outside this Universe? Like... our own?"

Reliance smiled in response. "Now we are getting somewhere. That’s exactly the case. But their names are Puorton-Le and Vavalia-Hek."

"As I thought..." Rean already knew where it was going. "I believe those two have a child, don’t they? If I’m not wrong, this Minokawa’s name is Frife-Ni."

"Oh!" Reliance was even more certain now. "So you do know those two. Yes, they do have a child called Frife-Ni."

Rean looked at Kentucky, who nodded back. They weren’t certain if those two Minokawas were still in this Universe, but now it is pretty obvious they are. Frife-Ni was Kentucky’s brother, which the Golden Crow spoke about. It made sense to hide Ratria-Ket and Ploto-Ume’s names, but not Frife-Ni’s. After all, he was born here, so there was no point in creating an alias for him at that moment.

Roan pondered a bit, and with how secretive Reliance was acting, a thought appeared in his mind. "I see what is happening. Reliance, you are helping the Demon Beasts in this war to take control over F974, are you not?"

Reliance looked at the speaker, not feeling surprised by Roan’s words. "You are still as smart as back then, it seems. That’s why it would be better if you don’t get involved with me. We are in the Humanoid Races’ Territory. If I’m caught and you are with me, then you can say goodbye to this world."

Roan was right, and they got their explanation about why Reliance pretended to not know them. However, they didn’t have any intention of staying in this place anyway.

"Reliance, we are trying to enter the Demon Beasts’ Territory," Rean explained. "That’s why I went to you. I intended to use your Werdlem ID to get to the cities near the border with the Demon Beasts."

Reliance couldn’t help but ask. "My Werdlem ID? And how would you use it? Unless you intended to enter my Pocket Dimensional Realm and expected me to teleport to the border cities for you, of course. Would you truly just trust anyone like that? You should know better than anyone else that you are powerless inside someone’s Pocket Dimensional Realm."

Rean faintly smiled. "Oh, not that. When I said I was going to use your Werdlem ID, I meant it. I have a way to copy anyone’s Werdlem ID as long as I have enough time to analyze their Werdlem Stones. I would simply pretend to be you and teleport away."

"What?!" Reliance was naturally shocked by the revelation. But then, his head began to work like crazy, many possibilities popping into his mind. "Are you absolutely sure you can do such a thing?"

"I can," Rean nodded, "But I can’t tell you how. But let’s leave it aside. I can capture someone else later and copy the ID. Since you know those two Minokawas, can you tell me where they are?"

Kentucky shrugged. "Well, they are most likely at the very back of the Demon Beats’ Territory. There is no way Minokawas would take the front. Hahaha!"

Reliance almost burst into laughter. "You couldn’t be any wronger. Not only are the Minokawas at the very front of this war, but those two Minokawas I told you about are the very reason for this war to be happening in the first place. They are the leaders of the Demon Beasts’ Forces."

Kentucky’s mouth twitched. "Ridiculous! Do you have any idea how lazy we Minokawas are?"

"Oh, I absolutely do!" Reliance nodded with confidence. "Yet, those two managed to convince their own race and the rest of the Demon Beasts to start this war. And I am helping them."

Kentucky still found it hard to believe. "But... why? I know this is a war to become the next power in control of this Universe. Simply put, you would be the Werdlem Empire’s representative in this Universe... well, kind of. In any case, just the work that would come with such a position would make any Minokawa have nightmares just thinking about it."

"There is a reason, right?" Roan asked. "And you are also helping, so am I right to guess that this has something to do with returning to the Lisan Universe?"

Reliance immediately confirmed. "Yes. This is directly connected to their efforts to return to Lisan. Puorton-Le and Vavalia-Hek are dead set on that objective, although I’m not entirely certain why. What matters is that if they manage to do so, I will be able to go back with them."

The twins looked at each other. If the two Minokawas have a way to return, perhaps it will be better if Rean and Roan’s group help with that. "Keep talking."
