Chapter 3549: Kill Myself
Chapter 3549: Kill Myself
Roan followed by activating his own Elemental Intent Scythe, pointing at Rean. "In any case, I also want to test it."
"Hmph!" Rean didn’t step back, bringing his Black Star Sword out. "Go ahead! The White Star died, and it is only natural that its brother, Black Star, follows suit!"
Roan had no such attachment, and he wouldn’t hold back even if he had it either. Just like Rean did, he shot forward and used Rean’s new Bright Red Lightning Enhancement. It only lasted a second, but the results repeated themselves.
*Swish!*
Rean, who also had used everything, still couldn’t prevent his Black Star Sword from breaking. Half of the sword fell on the ground, cut at its center. Rean wasn’t hit by Roan’s attack after that, though. He knew it would happen and was ready to dodge in the end. Roan also knew that, so he didn’t insist.
Then, Rean collected the White Star Scythe and Black Star Sword, sighing deeply. "Even though I gave up the physical weapon, it still pains me to see my two best creations like this."
Roan, however, wasn’t even listening. "Elsie, let’s fight. I want to try it out against a proper, experienced user."
Rean’s mouth twitched, but he didn’t say anything. ’Hmph! I shall mourn for them by myself!’
Elsie was still pretty much frozen after the test they showed, but she got a hold of herself, nodding at Roan. "Y-Yes, let’s do it. I’ve never had the chance to fight someone with a further developed Stage Six Intent Weapon before."
And so, Roan and Elsie started their battle. The advantage Elsie had due to her Intent disappeared, changing into a disadvantage instead.
Her Divine origin Energy? Useless! Roan had Sky Energy, which was much better! Her Laws’ Advantage? They were useful, but Roan knew more about laws than she, even if he couldn’t use them now, so there was only so much Elsie could do with them. Spatial Powers? She surprisingly couldn’t gain any advantage on that. Time Power? Roan couldn’t use it, but he could nullify its effect on lower realms, let alone now.
All of that, and Roan’s bloodline, which made his body stronger than when he used the Starlight Body Cultivation Technique, made for a pretty one-sided match.
*Bang!*
Elsie’s Body Projection hit the ground, and several of her Intent Sickles dissipated after clashing against Roan’s Elemental Intent Scythe. She was in the Late Stage of the Space-Time Realm, and yet, it felt like that cultivation advantage meant nothing. "Al-alright, let’s stop here. I’m obviously not a match for you anymore."
She got up, feeling a little down. "Say, how did you manage to add your Elements into the Intent Weapon?"
Roan pondered their fight just now while he answered Elsie. "At the end of the day, an Intent Weapon is not the same as an Energy Weapon made of Divine Origin Energy. Intent is an ethereal concept, so if you think about it as an empty shell, you can fill the Intent Weapon with your Elements."
"I have never thought about it like that..." Elsie got up, closed her eyes, and tried to use her Earth Element. Sure enough, following Roan’s theory, she was able to add her own Earth Element to her Intent Weapon. It’s just that she had a hard time controlling it and making the weapon stable. "This is quite difficult..."
Rean approached after putting his broken weapons away. "Your problem lies in the amount of Divine Origin Energy used to create your Intent Weapons. Roan and I are able to create a 99% Intent Weapon, so only 1% of it is Energy. Naturally, that makes it a lot easier to control the Elements we put into it. You, on the other hand, the best you can do is a 60% Intent Weapon, while the other 40% is Divine Origin Energy."
"This huge amount of Divine Origin Energy is what causes the problem. You have to control the Intent, the Energy, and the Element at the same time. So, the better you get at making an Intent Weapon, the easier it will be for you to add your Element later on."
"Okay!" Elsie recovered some of her confidence. Also, there was one thing she could genuinely be happy for. Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and Celis were so strong, even though they are over an entire realm below her. Wouldn’t they be ultimate weapons in the Celestial Supreme Palace? She had to admit, they truly didn’t need Divinity Realm companions in this group.
"You should take this chance, just like how we did," Rean commented. "We have another two years until the Celestial Supreme Palace opens. During these two years, pay close attention to our training, as Roan and I will definitely focus on our Elemental Intent Weapons. With such perfect examples in front of you, there is no way you won’t take a step further!"
Elsie felt even happier. "Right! I will definitely use this time well!"
Roan looked at his Scythe, still slightly disappointed he couldn’t breach that last 1%. "Could it be the last 1% is the barrier to the Seventh Stage of Weapon Intent?" Roan wondered.
Elsie’s mouth twitched. Were they thinking about the Seventh Stage already? They barely got to use the Sixth. It truly made her head spin. "Ahem... better not to bite more than you can chew, right?"
Roan closed his eyes, nodding in agreement. "Hastiness often ends in failure indeed."
*Zush, zush, zush, zush, zush, zush, zush, zush...*
In the next moment, ten Elemental Intent Weapons appeared in the air. But they weren’t all Scythes, though. Instead, they were the Scythe, Sword, Dagger, Mace, Quarterstaff, Greatsword, Sickle, Axe, Spear, and Saber. Every single one of them was made of a different Weapon Intent, and they all had a 99% Intent composition! "It’s better to get used to the Sixth Stage first."
And just like that, Elsie’s confidence dissipated like smoke in the air. "Oh, great! Give me a second, I need to kill myself for a moment there in the corner."
