Chapter 406: Chapter 222: The Three Primes Emerge to Vanquish the Demon Scions (Part 2)

"Xuzhuang, your time has come. Don’t you see it?"

Xuzhuang’s expression remained unchanged. He said calmly, "It seems this helper of yours has given you quite a bit of courage."

"Hahaha!" Han Fashou laughed loudly. "As expected, I couldn’t hide it from you." He glanced sideways. "Since she’s already been discovered, she might as well have acted sooner."

Before his voice faded, a light, flirtatious laugh echoed from the sky. "It’s because I couldn’t find a single opening that I refrained from acting rashly."

As she spoke, a woman slowly materialized in midair. She was dressed like a handsome scholar in a brocade robe, yet her lips were red, her teeth pearly white, and her figure graceful. Fanning herself gently, she said languidly, "Who would have thought that the two of you, fighting one man, would not only fail to defeat him after all this time, but actually find yourselves losing ground."

"Zheng Ah!" The Celestial Demon Child’s eyes narrowed. He showed no joy, instead speaking with a grim chill, "You’ve been here all along?"

Zheng Ah just snorted, apparently unwilling to elaborate. The Celestial Demon Child cursed inwardly, ’If Xuzhuang hadn’t injured my Primordial Spirit, I wouldn’t have been kept in the dark like this.’

"I said it before. To defeat this man, the three of us must give it our all," Han Fashou said coldly. "But it’s not too late."

He held up a piece of talisman paper, lit it, and stuffed it into his mouth, swallowing it whole. His entire body shuddered. The Bone Demon God behind him let out a long, sudden roar, transforming to have three heads and six arms, and violently tore free from the bonds of the Innate Tai Su Qi Grand Capture!

Only then did Han Fashou reveal a confident expression. "A sixty percent chance of victory," he said calmly. "Just as I predicted."

Xuzhuang asked coolly, "Are the three of you done with your little chat?"

Han Fashou laughed heartily. "Xuzhuang, you pride yourself on getting stronger the longer you fight, so you’ve been playing it safe. Did you ever consider that this would be the very cause of your demise?"

Xuzhuang replied with an easy air, "And how could you know that I’ve long been waiting for you to walk into my trap?"

Han Fashou was momentarily stunned. The Celestial Demon Child’s expression changed, while Zheng Ah simply raised an eyebrow.

Only then did the three realize that Xuzhuang’s expression had been utterly unchanged from the very beginning. It was only now that a fierce light erupted in his eyes. "It’s time for you to be on your way."

Xuzhuang let out a long cry. His body seemed to blur for an instant, as if three overlapping versions of him suddenly split apart to stand side by side. Their appearances, their bearings, their expressions... even their cultivation levels and Magical Power were completely identical!

"What?" Han Fashou’s body trembled violently. Inside his wide sleeve, his fingers clenched unconsciously, so tightly he nearly broke his own pinky. Sweat beaded on his temples. ’Sixty percent chance of victory... sixty percent chance of victory...’

’Did I miscalculate?’

Xuzhuang exploded into action before they could react. The moment the Three-Element Dharma Bodies appeared, they all struck. It was as if a single person with three heads and six arms was attacking simultaneously.

One of him pointed at the Celestial Demon Child. Divine light blazed from above the Gangyun as he shouted, "Lock!"

In that instant, the Celestial Demon Child felt a boundless and unimaginable power surge toward him from all directions. It pressed down from above and constricted from within, completely immobilizing him. He couldn’t lift a finger, his robes couldn’t flutter in the wind, and even the demon at his side was frozen solid.

The Celestial Demon Child had no time to even feel terror. The Gangyun above his head erupted with demonic light. With his Divine Techniques, he could have easily escaped the Innate Tai Su Shaping Array, but under the full force of Xuzhuang’s Heaven and Earth Lock, he couldn’t move an inch.

In that instant, the Celestial Demon Child was scared out of his wits, but what followed was his true and final demise—

A line of cold light suddenly flashed before another Xuzhuang. The Taiyi Rainbow Sword, which had been gathering power for some time, shot through the air. It ignored the layers of Magical Artifacts and Taoist Skills that automatically activated to protect the Celestial Demon Child, slashing his chest with what looked like a casual strike.

Endless Sword Qi erupted from within the Celestial Demon Child’s body, creating a storm confined to a thirty-foot radius but powerful enough to obliterate everything. Celestial Demons roared, a perfected Nascent Soul shrieked, Magical Artifacts shattered...

The storm of Sword Qi raged for a full fifteen minutes. By the time it subsided, the Celestial Demon Child had long since fallen silent.

Meanwhile, Han Fashou let out a great roar. At his command, the Bone Demon God unleashed its might. It spread its hands, gathering primordial qi and summoning its Bone Banner, Bone Sword, and Bone Fork, intending to launch a preemptive strike.

But with a mere thought from the third Xuzhuang, thirty-six Fire Dragons leaped out and once again entangled the Bone Demon God. Then, he raised his hand.

The Water Divine Light, which had previously obliterated a hundred li of Demon Cloud, flowed back like a reversed Celestial River. A hundred li’s worth of water SPLASHED into Xuzhuang’s hand. Then, through a natural transformation of the five elements, it instantly became a fist-sized fireball and pulsed violently.

A pillar of Fire Divine Light shot straight into the Bone Demon God’s chest. BOOM! Blazing flames erupted. The fierce fire of the great sun engulfed the Bone Demon God’s entire body. A CRACKLING and popping sound came from every one of its joints.

Xuzhuang had fought the Bone Demon God with his thirty-six Great Sun Fire Dragons for so long that he had long since perceived the Demon God’s imperfections. He had even used a minor Tracing Technique to detect the most subtle flaws in its movements.

His application of the Fire Divine Light was an insight he had gained while listening to a sermon at True Monarch Guangcheng’s Dojo. It was inspired by a Supreme Divine Technique the True Monarch had demonstrated, called the Great Sun Everlasting Profound Light.

The Bone Demon God was shattered by Xuzhuang in a single blow! Yet, Han Fashou’s expression showed no agitation. He had even suppressed the terror he felt when Xuzhuang revealed his Three-Element Dharma Body.

He took a deep breath and focused his mind. Raising his hand, he revealed a Bone Talisman held between three fingers. He channeled his technique, blowing softly on it. A large amount of his Magical Power turned into a mist and flowed into the talisman, which immediately began to glow with a terrifying, grim white light.

Seeing this, Han Fashou’s gaze hardened. He flicked the Bone Talisman forward, then, without a backward glance, transformed into a streak of grim, white light and shot toward the sky.

In that instant, an immense sense of dread struck Xuzhuang’s mind. He shouldn’t have been able to react in time, but a burst of Sword Qi suddenly flared from between his brows, stinging his Spiritual Sense.

Xuzhuang wasn’t surprised that a Celestial Demon Child of Han Fashou’s standing possessed a Primordial Spirit-level technique. Both he and Daochen Zhenren had prepared for such a possibility.

Han Fashou’s Primordial Spirit technique turned out to be an offensive Taoist Skill rather than an Escape Technique. However, that didn’t matter. At this very moment, with a single thought, Xuzhuang could unsheathe the Tai Su Void Sword and slay Han Fashou right where he was.

But in that instant between life and death, Xuzhuang made a different choice.

The Bone Talisman shot forward by Han Fashou arrived in a flash. But just then, a dim, magnificent light rose from the crown of Xuzhuang’s head. It unfurled into a grand cloud of primordial qi, which then condensed to form a parasol.

It was the Primordial Treasure Lotus Parasol. This supreme defensive treasure, which had been refined to its true form and gifted to Xuzhuang as a talisman at the cost of its own primordial qi, had finally been activated once more. Treasure Qi cascaded down from it, like an entire Great Thousand World manifesting before him.

When the Bone Talisman fell into the cascading Qi, it stirred up a shower of five-colored energy and a dance of golden branches and jade leaves. But in a mere instant, it was ground away into nothing but dust.

’Beyond the Three Realms, not within the Five Elements. Untouched by any technique, unhindered by calamity or blade. What can possibly harm me?’

In terms of defensive principles, Xuzhuang still yearned for the power of the Primordial Treasure Lotus Parasol. When he was designing his Myriad Phenomena Immortal Robe, he had been subconsciously guided by its concepts. It was a shame the circumstances were not ordinary; otherwise, he would have certainly calmed his mind to properly study and comprehend it.

The clash between the Primordial Spirit Taoist Skill and the treasure talisman occurred in a span of time too short for a Nascent Soul Cultivator to fully process. The exchange was over in an instant. Han Fashou hadn’t even managed to flee a thousand zhang.

Xuzhuang pushed aside his stray thoughts. From a distance, he extended one arm toward Han Fashou’s fleeing figure and formed a Thunder Seal, his eyes narrowing slightly.

The clash of yin and yang births lightning to annihilate all creation!

The Heaven-Opening Yang Thunder and the World-Ending Yin Thunder did not strike in tandem this time. Instead, an incredibly subtle change occurred within Xuzhuang’s body.

In a single moment, more than half of this Dharma Body’s Magical Power drained away like a bursting dam. He had anticipated this, however. The Thunder Seal slowly rotated, and he flicked a finger.

A silent bolt of lightning, utterly unlike any destructive technique, flashed across several thousand zhang in an instant and appeared on Han Fashou’s back. It was as if a great halberd had then been swung viciously through that very spot.

The space from Han Fashou’s back, extending for thousands of zhang above and below him, seemed to shatter. Then, it was silently annihilated, leaving only a torrent of crackling lightning that persisted for a long time.
