"It’s fine, I’m really fine!" Ling Yueyue gently shook her head. She was so exhausted from vomiting that she barely had the strength to speak, her voice was so soft that it was almost inaudible if not listened to carefully.

Hearing Ling Yueyue say this again, Huo Junmo’s handsome face darkened, and he got angry immediately, "You’re like this and still say you’re fine? Are you fooling me, or do you really take me for a fool?"

Seeing Huo Junmo angry, Ling Yueyue hurriedly shook her head vigorously, "No, no! I thought I ate something wrong earlier, but now I know it’s the seafood! Seeing Huo Junmo unwilling to leave, Ling Yueyue said bitterly, "What is it? You don’t still want to eat seafood, do you? Or do you plan on leaving after finishing?"

Huo Junmo raised an eyebrow, with a half-smile, "Of course, we ordered so much, it would be a waste to just leave it!"

Hearing this, Ling Yueyue’s face fell, "What?! You really plan to eat before leaving! I can’t do it, I really can’t eat anymore, if I keep eating, I’ll vomit bile! If you want to eat, do it yourself; I’ll go downstairs and wait for you outside!" Saying this, she let go of Huo Junmo’s hand, preparing to leave alone.

However, after only a couple of steps, Huo Junmo caught her hand.

Ling Yueyue turned her head, weakly asking, "What now?"

Huo Junmo smiled and asked, "Were you really planning to leave by yourself?"

Ling Yueyue raised an eyebrow, smiled wryly, "Otherwise? Stay and eat with you before leaving?"

"Dear, we ordered so much, even if we don’t eat, we should at least pay before leaving! It’s not like I would stay and eat by myself now that you’re not eating! Come on, let’s pay the bill, and then I’ll take you for some Chinese food!" With that, Huo Junmo scooped Ling Yueyue up in his arms and strode toward the cashier!

Ling Yueyue was so exhausted from vomiting that she didn’t even struggle and rested weakly in Huo Junmo’s arms, letting him carry her.

Huo Junmo carried Ling Yueyue to the cashier, and the cashier, seeing they hadn’t eaten anything but were about to pay and leave, quickly said, "Sir, Ma’am, if you don’t have time to eat here, we can pack it for you to take away!"

As soon as she heard this, Ling Yueyue thought of the seafood smell again, and her stomach churned!

Huo Junmo shook his head, politely saying, "No need! My wife can’t handle seafood!"

"Alright! Let me settle the bill for you!" The cashier smiled and nodded, printing out the bill for Huo Junmo. He gently placed Ling Yueyue in a chair not far away, took out his wallet, and paid.

After settling the bill, he picked up Ling Yueyue again, left the seafood restaurant, and took the elevator directly downstairs! Knowing Ling Yueyue’s stomach was empty, he didn’t find a particularly far-off Chinese restaurant, just one nearby that wasn’t fancy but was clean and hygienic.

Once out of the seafood market, whether it was psychological or because the seafood market’s smell was truly unbearable, Ling Yueyue immediately felt much more comfortable in her stomach!

Because her stomach was uncomfortable, Ling Yueyue didn’t dare to order any big dishes, just some light snacks, hoping only to fill her stomach.

After ordering what she wanted, Ling Yueyue handed the menu to Huo Junmo, "I’ve ordered everything I want, all vegetarian, see what meat dishes you’d like!"

"No need, I’ll eat vegetarian with you!" Huo Junmo said with a slight smile, handing the menu to the waiter.

Ling Yueyue shyly said, "How can I force you to eat vegetarian with me!"

Huo Junmo teased, "Eating meat and fish every day, it’s nice to have some veggies to cleanse the palate once in a while! Besides, after vomiting so much, seeing anything greasy or meat might make you uncomfortable! So, never mind, let’s just have some light dishes!"

"Huo Junmo, you’re truly a good man!" Hearing Huo Junmo’s words, Ling Yueyue’s heart warmed, and her earlier discomfort seemed to fade with his caring.

Huo Junmo looked at Ling Yueyue tenderly, speaking softly, "I’m only kind to those I care about around me."

Upon hearing this, Ling Yueyue’s cheeks flushed, coughing lightly in embarrassment, she smiled, "I’ve been unlucky all my life for twenty years! Marrying you now, is it considered winning the lottery?"

Hearing her words, Huo Junmo’s brow twitched, his smile slightly stiff, "Winning the lottery? Am I the lottery?"

Seeing his somewhat displeased expression, Ling Yueyue squinted and smiled, appeasing, "Haha, I’m just using a metaphor! You’re gentle and wealthy, how could you be a lottery! You’re the perfect catch, a complete package!"

Upon hearing this, Huo Junmo’s expression softened a bit, though it still didn’t look great!

Seeing he seemed still a bit upset, Ling Yueyue had no choice but to lean back on the chair, holding her temple, her face wrinkled, weakly saying, "Oh, maybe I vomited for too long earlier, now I’m dizzy and weak, I can’t even remember what I just said! Oh, I feel so bad!"

Seeing her like this, Huo Junmo’s eyes softened, and he reached out to pour her a glass of water, handing it to her, "Drink some water, don’t leave your stomach empty, having a sip can help a bit!"

Seeing that Huo Junmo’s expression didn’t seem as bad as before and he wasn’t angry, she finally breathed a sigh of relief!

After finishing the glass of tea, the food arrived!

Huo Junmo picked up a piece of green vegetable and placed it in Ling Yueyue’s bowl, gently saying, "Hungry? Eat something!"

"Mm!" Ling Yueyue nodded, cautiously picking a piece of green vegetable and placing it in her mouth, tentatively chewing a couple of times! Her stomach didn’t react! She then scooped a mouthful of rice into her mouth, and still no reaction!

Seeing this, Ling Yueyue hurriedly stuffed rice into her mouth! She was really too hungry, her stomach was completely empty, without any food in it!
