"...the Cursed One has finally been caught!"

Alexandra didn’t retort, but a peculiar glint flashed past her abyssal eyes as she profoundly looked at Jacob’s listless body.

She questioned impassively, "So, this ’Cursed One’ is also an Heir of a Universal Godly Scripture, huh? But why do I feel like he was...lacking? Are you sure he’s the one you were looking for?"

"Lacking, you say?" Destin Saint chuckled as if amused by Alexandra’s words and replied in a slightly stern tone, "I can assure you, Miss, if not for my preparations and all the ’tools’ I’ve prepared for you, not to mention subduing the Cursed One alive, you wouldn’t even be able to touch the Cursed One’s shadow.

Alexandra wore a thoughtful expression as she looked at Jacob and couldn’t help but remember that event in the Path of Legend.

In the end, Alexandra was also like Jacob, a new Heir of a UGS, and if she wasn’t careful, she might end up like Jacob, especially if Destin Saint or someone like him found her a threat.

"That’s why I need to make sure the Cursed One won’t come back, and not even a single trace of him remains. Although it won’t completely end the Cursed One’s reign unless the UGS related to it is destroyed, which is absolutely impossible, it can still bring the Zodiac Plains another era of peace and prosperity.
