Chapter 619 The Truth
Suddenly, two women walked into the main hall, and they were Yan Qiangying and Yan Chenyu, and Xia Tian asked them. “Why did you two come here?”
“Master, you promised to help Sister Qiangying to dig up information from Yan Jin.” It was Yan Chenyu who answered him first.
Xia Tian was stunned for a moment after hearing that; he forgot that he had promised them that, especially since he was too busy with his business. Moreover, they had also been gone for such a long time, so he had completely forgotten about it. He then nodded to them. “All right, I’ll do it for now. However, I hope you can move forward once you get the answer.” .𝒄𝒐𝒎
“Yes, Master.” Yan Qiangying replied with an approving nod. During these years, her son’s death had always weighed heavily on her heart, but Xia Tian told her that the things she knew were not the truth, so she really wanted to know the events behind her son’s death; only then could she move on with her life.
“Ran Qing, I want you to go with me.” Xia Tian asked as he rose from his seat.
After Ran Qing nodded in agreement, Xia Tian took her hand and led her away using void breaking steps, and soon they appeared above the Alchemist Guild. “If I use soul search on Yan Jin, then it will leave trauma to him, so I want you to use your ability to see his memories.”
“You never change, Brother Tian.” Ran Qing said with a chuckle. “Those two women are your slaves, but you didn’t do anything to them, and you even want to help them to do this.”
“After all, they are not evil women; they became my slaves only because of Estella, so I won’t do anything to them.” Xia Tian casually replied. Although the Yan Sisters are beautiful and sexy, especially Yan Qiangying, he is not attracted to them. Moreover, they wanted to serve him because of Estella’s slave mark on their souls, and he disliked women who were like that.
Ran Qing nodded in understanding and immediately used her technique to put Yan Jin to sleep; she then disappeared from Xia Tian’s sight. After some time, she returned to his side, but her expression was extremely ugly.
“What do you see from his memories?” Xia Tian asked with a raised eyebrow.
Ran Qing didn’t answer his question and touched Xia Tian’s forehead with her finger, and she shared all of Yan Jin’s memories with him.
After that, Xia Tian closed his eyes and digested every single one of those memories. However, a few minutes later, he abruptly opened his eyes and looked at Ran Qing in shock. “I really didn’t expect it to happen like that.”
Ran Qing sighed heavily, did not expect the truths to be so terrible, and then said. “If Yan Qiangying finds out the truth, I believe she will fall into despair and probably commit suicide later.”
“I agree with you.” Xia Tian then thought of a way to tell Yan Qiangying the truth, but he wasn’t sure that she would be able to accept it.
Seeing Xia Tian fall silent, Ran Qing asked him. “Are you really going to tell her the truth?”
Xia Tian sighed softly and looked up at the sky; he still couldn’t decide whether to tell Yan Qiangying the truth or not, for the truth would wallop her. Before long, he sighed heavily and answered her. “No matter what happens, she deserves to know the truth, or she will never be able to move on.”
“But what if she chooses to commit suicide?” As a fellow woman, Ran Qing felt it would be better if Xia Tian did not tell Yan Qiangying the truth.
Xia Tian shook his head at her. “If she chooses to do that, then it is her own choice, and I can’t do anything about it.”
“How about you change her memories later?” Ran Qing presented her idea and thought it was the best way for Yan Qiangying.
“No.” Xia Tian rejects her idea; he doesn’t want to change someone’s memories, for someone’s memories are very meaningful. “Let’s go back; I will think of the best way to tell her the truth.”
“All right.”
.
.
Moments later, they arrived at Xia Residence again, and Yan Qiangying asked him. “How did it go, Master? Have you gotten the truth?”
Xia Tian didn’t immediately answer her question; he turned to the people still in the main hall. “I have to talk to her alone first.”
“All right.” They nodded to him.
Yan Chenyu then said. “Master, I also want to know the truth.”
“No! You just wait here!” Xia Tian then took Yan Qiangying to his room, making Yan Chenyu frown and wonder in her heart.
.
.
“Sit first.” Xia Tian said as he sat on the chair, and Yan Qiangying immediately sat across from him while looking at him impatiently. “I’ve got the truth, but I’m not sure about telling you about it.”
“Why is that, Master?” Yan Qiangying asked with a confused look. “I must know the truth, or I will never be at peace for the rest of my life, so please tell me the truth.”
Xia Tian sighed heavily and touched Yan Qiangying’s forehead, and he shared Yan Jin’s memory of the incident with her. ‘I hope you can accept the truth.’
After that, Yan Qiangying closed her eyes and began looking at the memories. Soon, her body shook violently, and tears flowed from the corners of her eyes.
During these years, she had always blamed Yan Jin for her son’s death, and she finally learned the truth. It wasn’t his brother who killed her son, but she killed him with her own hands.
In those memories, they were out looking for something in a forest, but after they had searched for so long, they suddenly encountered a mysterious and powerful figure. The figure then attacked them and kidnapped Yan Qiangying and her son.
After that, Yan Jin and Yan Chenyu decided to split up to search for them, and they searched for the two of them for quite a while.
After so long, Yan Jin managed to find them, but he was in utter shock after seeing their condition, for they were completely naked. To make matters worse, Yan Qiangying was holding a sword, and her sword was stabbed right in her son’s chest.
After she told his brother about the whole incident, Yan Qiangying wanted to commit suicide because of it.
Since Yan Jin has already lost his nephew, he also doesn’t want to lose his sister. He decided to knock Yan Qingying unconscious, help her get dressed, and use a technique to seal her memories.
However, just as Yan Jin was about to pull the sword out from his nephew’s chest, Yan Chenyu arrived at their location and saw him holding the sword.
Without thinking twice, Yan Chenyu immediately charged at him, but Yan Jin dodged all of her attacks and left the scene at once without giving them any explanation.
As for the rest, Yan Chenyu told her big sister that Yan Jin had killed her son. Since he sealed her memory, she no longer remembers the actual incident, and Yan Qiangying believes in her little sister.
Since then, Yan Qiangying blamed her son’s death on Yan Jin, which made their relationship very sour.
Xia Tian sighed heavily and walked behind Yan Qiangying, and he then hugged her from behind as he said to her. “I know the truth is hard on you, but I hope you don’t act foolishly. Even though your son did such a thing to you, it was definitely not his intention, and he did it because he was being controlled by that mysterious figure. Moreover, I’m sure your son doesn’t want you to die, so you should learn to accept the truth and move on with your life.”
Hearing that, Yan Qiangying turned around and hugged Xia Tian, and she cried very hard.
Xia Tian then remembered something, and he spoke to her again. “I know a woman who also experienced the same thing as you; she was violated by her uncle. However, she has no intention of committing suicide anymore, and she is training to become strong to take revenge on him. If you want to avenge your son, then you must continue to live and practice being strong, and you can look for that mysterious figure to take revenge on him for everything in the future.”
Yan Qiangying didn’t say anything, and she only listened to his words as she continued to cry.
Xia Tian then let go of his arms from Yan Qiangying and lifted her chin, and he looked at her while wiping away her tears. After that, he passed some pills to her. “I can only help this much, and you can get stronger faster by using these pills.”
Yan Qiangying received the pills as she stared at Xia Tian, and soon she said to him. “Thank you, Master. I will follow your advice and train to become strong enough to avenge my son against that mysterious figure.”
“That’s good.” Xia Tian nodded with satisfaction.
After that, they returned to the main hall, the Yan Sisters quickly left the Xia Residence, and Yan Qiangying decided to tell her little sister the truth, shocking her.
