Cultivation: When you take things to the extreme

Chapter 1191: 715: Breaking the Ban

Chapter 1191: Chapter 715: Breaking the Ban

PS: Don’t look yet, it’s not finished, there are still a few hundred words to be added, I will revise it in half an hour!

“It’s you!”

Cultivators, by nature, have keen senses, with the Reached Immortal Gods even occasionally having premonitory insights on a whim.

But now, with the other party arriving in such a manner, silently closing in beside her, she remained entirely unaware, not knowing in the slightest.

What does this imply?

It implies that the other’s Cultivation far surpasses hers, and even constitutes dominance at the “hierarchical” level.

This should not come as a surprise, after all, she is merely a Five Tribulations Void Immortal, whereas the other party is the renowned Honored Wandao of the Five Domains, the foremost person among all True Immortals, with Cultivation that far surpasses, isn’t that expected?

Indeed, it is expected, but this situation is out of the ordinary, and she is not Jian Ni!

But seeing her exclaim in surprise, seemingly flustered yet feigning, misleading the opponent with a feint.

Amidst such an exclamation, a Sword Light suddenly emerged, not striking at the person, but instead aiming for the dome above.

Sword Light burst forth, piercing directly at the dome, but Jian Ni did not follow the sword into flight. Instead, she ignited Buddha Essence and pounced at the person before her, taking on a desperate stance as if willing to be destroyed along with them.

Xu Yang’s expression remained unchanged, with a mere wave of his sleeved hand, a Divine Light like a sword emerged, rotating in five colors.

In an instant, the Divine Light pierced through the body, Jian Ni halted in her tracks, frozen on the spot, a complete look of astonishment on her face.

Xu Yang did not linger with words, he stepped forward to ascend to the heavens, leaving Jian Ni standing alone in the Manjusri Hall.

Looking outside the hall, high in the sky, a Sword Light pierced the heavens, seeming eager to break through the spatial boundaries.

Yet, it was seen that beyond the sky, there was a realm of Chaos, not exactly black nor exactly white.

The Sword Light flared brilliantly, stabbing into the heavens, with roars resembling that of a lion and the chanting of the Great Brahma’s sound.

The Manjusri Wisdom Sword!

Great Brahma Manjusri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, capable of perceiving the true form of the universe, unraveling the principles and laws; even in the Upper Realm he is an extraordinary presence, second to none under heaven.

But in this moment, such wisdom is rendered futile.

The Sword Light shone immensely bright, agile and fierce like a dragon, traversing the Chaos, searching for a gap to escape through, but despite constantly moving back and forth, Chaos remained as it was, showing no gaps whatsoever.

“This…”

“What happened?”

“Monastery Head!?”

Several elder nuns rushed over upon hearing news, snapping Jian Ni, who had sprung from the hall, back to reality, as she looked at the fiercely moving Sword Light in the sky, which seemed like a trapped beast, and then at the endless and boundless Chaos Primordial Qi, standing stupefied, uncertain of what to do.

“This is…”

In their shock, a thought struck like lightning, causing Jian Ni to cry out involuntarily: “Sleeve Universe?”

“Huu!!!”

In the midst of her cry, the Qiankun spun rapidly, boundless Chaos swirling into a vortex, the traversing Manjusri Wisdom Sword suddenly trapped in mire.

Chaos swirled, Chaos whirled, with the Wisdom Sword enwrapped within it, despite its peerless edge, it was as though stuck in the swamp, not only unable to extricate itself but also gradually losing power, akin to a beast caught in a net, nearing the end of its strength.

However, a trapped beast still fights; it does not surrender until death, with the Wisdom Sword turning and emitting a Brilliant Golden Light, sounds of lion’s roar and Buddhist Chanting being heard, a Dharma Aspect suddenly appeared within, unmistakably a Bodhisattva Venerable, with five buns atop the head, wielding the Wisdom Sword, standing on a lotus pedestal, with a lion prostrate underneath, indeed one of the four Venerable of the Brahma Sect, the Bodhisattva of Manjusri Great Wisdom.

The Bodhisattva, with Manjusri Wisdom and the Brahma Dharma manifesting in the world, pressured by Earth Immortals to their utmost, at last sighted an opponent’s flaw, plunging the sword directly at the root of Primordial Chaos.

However…

“Huu!!!”

As if there were a gust of wind, piercingly whistling, the Chaos Qiankun rotated, with the Yin Yang Two Extremes suddenly emerging, black and white twin fish chasing each other’s tails, instantly engulfing Manjusri’s Dharma Form, with the edge of the Wisdom Sword swallowed.

Following that, Chaos receded like a tide, and the world became clear again, the skies serene.

All that had happened just then, everything prior, was like bubbles in a dream, as if they had never occurred.

In the Purity Temple, the nuns stood frozen, it took them a long time to regain their composure, as they rushed to look towards the Monastery Head.

Jian Ni also emerged from her trance, looking at the now clear heaven and earth, and then at the Manjusri Hall’s dome, which had been broken through by a single sword strike, amidst all the events that had just occurred, she could not help but show a wry smile, sighing helplessly, “Ancestor…”

“Monastery Head!”

The nuns rushed over, anxiously questioning, “What exactly happened just now?”

“There’s no need for words!”

Jian Ni shook her head, glanced away, gazing far into the sky: “Pack up, we should prepare to set off.”

“Set off?”

“To where?”

The nuns were perplexed and even more bewildered.

With a deep look in her eyes, Jian Ni murmured to herself, “Divine Land!”

Several months later, in the Central Region Divine Land, the Ten Thousand Dao Heavenly Palace.

Inside the northern Zhenwu Hall, a grey-clad Old Ape, with a broom in hand, was quietly sweeping, as if a monk lost in his chores.

Though there was nothing much to sweep, people always need to find something to do, especially for a prisoner constrained by Prohibition.

At that moment, a ray of auspicious light descended, and a figure stepped into the hall.

The Old Ape paused, then set down the broom, standing silently by the side to watch.

The visitor took a seat in the hall, simply sweeping a hand over his sleeve, bringing forth various items, all Taoist Soldiers and Heavy Weapons, along with several disheveled figures, bringing a trace of vitality back into the empty and lonesome Zhenwu Hall.

“This…!”

The Old Ape stood by, eyes wide in astonishment at the scene.

With his shock not yet settled, a brilliant light shone, and the weapons all took human form, wearily sitting on the floor.

The foremost amongst them, with five buns atop the head, seated amidst the Five Wisdoms of the Great Sun, embodying a majestic appearance, was none other than Manjusri Venerable.

The Wisdom Sword took form, Manjusri made a presence, looking around at those beside him, particularly a few Earth Immortals also formed from Taoist Soldiers, he couldn’t help but show a wry smile, forcing himself to stand up and bowing forward: “Manjusri pays respects to Netherworld Venerable!”

A strange title, unexpected words.

Xu Yang’s expression didn’t change, and he spoke calmly: “There’s no need to probe, I am not the person you imagine me to be!”

“Hmm~!”

Manjusri’s gaze sharpened, the surrounding Immortals, too, held their silence.

Only the grey-clad Old Ape woke from the trance, looking at the congregation of people, at a loss for whether to rejoice or grieve.
