Chapter 2362 Entering the Fifth Valley

Chapter 2362  Entering the Fifth Valley

“We’ll arrive at the Fifth Valley after we pass that mountain range,” Lev commented shortly after seeing it.

“To think it took four years just to reach the Fifth Valley. This place is a little too big,” Yuan sighed out loud.

“Considering how many have been exiled to the Deprived Crimson Valley, it’s actually beneficial for those of us in here that this place is so vast. Otherwise, we’d be constantly fighting for territory,” said Lev. “That being said, since we’re all Immortal, we won’t die of natural causes, so the population of exiles will continue to grow for an eternity. Sooner or later, we’ll have to fight, whether we want to or not. Food is already scarce as it is, after all.”

“…”

Since demons were immortal by nature, and every being in the Demonic Realm was a demon, the only way to reduce their population was through killing one another.

And because of that very nature, they required an immense amount of energy to sustain themselves—whether by devouring magical beasts or… other demons.

While they won’t die if they don’t eat, it would mess with their mental stability or, in the worst case, cause them to lose control, thus turning them into a Forsaken.

“Before we enter the Fifth Valley, I must warn you about something,” Lev suddenly said as they closed in on the mountain range.

“We haven’t been attacked so far because I am familiar with pretty much everyone in the Fourth Valley, and since your presence is nonexistent, they have no reason to approach us. However, things will be different in the Fifth Valley. Not only are the Exiles there more powerful than me, but there’s a high chance they’ll attack us.”

“And before you ask, no, I cannot conceal my presence as perfectly as you.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Yuan calmly responded. “If we are attacked, I will deal with it.”

“I don’t mean to be rude, but where is your confidence coming from? You’re just a first-level False God. The Exiles dwelling within the Fifth Valley are between the fourth and fifth levels. Are Sealers really that powerful—that you can ignore the differences in cultivation?”

In the Demonic Realm, cultivators at the God Ascension level are called False Gods.

“Well, what do you know about Sealers?” Yuan questioned.

“I know that they were a powerful force that existed for a short period when Supreme Ruler Dena was still in power, and that they have a special ability that allows them to seal others. Unfortunately, that’s all I know since information on them is restricted. In fact, it’s forbidden to talk about them outside of this place.”

“Again with that…” Yuan shook his head, silently wondering who was trying so hard to control such information.

Yuan couldn’t help but recall his previous visit to the Demonic Realm, back when he was Tian Chengyu.

His first impression had been dreadful, largely due to the hatred he once harbored toward demons.

However, over time, the situation gradually improved, and he even befriended many demons. Among them was Supreme Ruler Dena, one of the three supreme rulers who governed the entire Demonic Realm.

“If you don’t mind me asking, what do you intend to do after meeting Supreme Ruler Dena? Since she’s now a Forsaken, I doubt you’ll even be able to have a proper conversation.”

Yuan casually shrugged.

“I’ll figure it out once I meet her.”

Lev was left speechless. He couldn’t believe how careless Yuan was being about meeting one of the most dangerous entities in their world.

A few days later, they crossed the mountain range and officially entered the Fifth Valley.

And not even an hour into the Fifth Valley, Yuan and Lev were attacked by a fourth-level False God Lower Demon.

“A first-level and second-level False God dares to enter the Fifth Valley?! You’re only begging me to eat you!”

“A Forsaken!” Lev exclaimed.

“Is that so?”

Hearing this, Yuan retrieved the Demon Devouring Sword from his spatial ring and, without hesitation, swung it at the incoming demon.

When the Demon Devouring Sword appeared, both Lev and the Forsaken demon suddenly felt their strength vanish into thin air.

“What is going on?!” The Forsaken exclaimed in shock.

“You’re dead, that’s what.”

In the next moment, Yuan swung his sword. Infused with Demon Sealing Aura and amplified by Supreme Sword Aura, the blade cleaved through the demon instantly, splitting it cleanly in half before sealing it.

However, the demon was not dead yet.

“Devour,” Yuan muttered before the demon could recover.

Suddenly, a massive hole appeared in the demon’s bisected body, as if something had taken an enormous bite out of it. Before the demon could even comprehend what was happening, the rest of its body was completely devoured.

Despite witnessing everything from beginning to end, Lev failed to comprehend what had just happened. He could only stare at Yuan with a bewildered expression.

Though he had no idea what Yuan had done to the Forsaken demon, Lev silently swore to himself that he would never offend Yuan—no matter the cost.

“Let’s continue,” Yuan said calmly, sheathing his sword before flying onward as though nothing had happened.

Lev swallowed nervously and followed behind. Though he wanted to ask what had just occurred, fear kept his mouth shut.

‘He killed a fourth-level Forsaken just like that?! If he wanted to, he could’ve easily killed all of us back then, and we wouldn’t even know it happened!’ he cried inwardly.

A few hours later, another demon attacked them.

“Stay away or you’ll regret it!” Lev warned the approaching demon.

“Hahah! Who the hell do you think you’re trying to scare with that cultivation?! You’ll be my first meal in a million years!”

“Is this idiot a Forsaken?” Yuan asked.

Lev shook his head, “No…”

“In that case…”

[Swords of Eternal Torment!]

Several golden swords of light materialized in the sky above the demon before plunging downward, impaling it and pinning its body to the ground.

“AHHH! IT HURTS! IT HURTTTSSS!” The demon immediately cried out in agony, its scream so loud that it shook the air around them.
