Chapter 2323 Entering the God Realm
Chapter 2323 Entering the God Realm
A thousand years… ten thousand years… a hundred thousand years have passed since Tian Yang and the others entered seclusion to break through to the next realm.
Despite how much time has passed, nobody has yet to emerge from their seclusion.
“I have enough Celestial Qi, and my Soul Strength is even stronger than my Celestial Qi at this point. In fact, I can even feel myself standing only a step away from the God Ream. Yet, I cannot take that final step for some reason. I am missing something, but what?” Although he only needed to take one more step to enter godhood, Tian Yang wouldn’t figure out how to take that step for another five thousand years.
But eventually, he takes that final step and enters the God Realm.
“I have achieved it! The God Realm!” Tian Yang trembled with excitement as his entire body surged with Celestial Qi.
However, now that he had truly entered the God Realm, he could immediately tell that it was not the end—that beyond it stretched even higher levels, waiting to be reached.
After entering the God Realm, Tian Yang left seclusion to see if the other two had finished before him. However, when he walked out of his immortal cave and looked at the other two caves, the entrances were still closed, meaning that he was the first one to have a breakthrough.
“I am first, huh?”
Since he had no way of knowing when they would finish, Tian Yang left his world to gather information about the outside world and the current state of the Giant’s Continent.
Although a hundred thousand years passed in the blink of an eye for Tian Yang, it was a tremendous amount of time for everyone else. In fact, the cultivation world experienced a tremendous surge in growth roughly fifty thousand years ago, when the Three Pillars of Heaven began sharing their cultivation techniques with others. Of course, these techniques were not given freely, and only those who agreed to ally with them in the war against the Giant Race were granted access.
As the Three Pillars of Heaven and the cultivation world continued to progress, the Giant Race remained quiet within their territory. But despite their seemingly secluded life, the Three Pillars of Heaven remained vigilant toward them, especially since none of their scouts had made it back.
Over the past hundred thousand years, the Three Pillars of Heaven launched two full-scale assaults on the Giant’s Continent. The first came twenty thousand years after their initial invasion, but when it failed just as miserably, they waited another seventy thousand years before attempting a second assault.
For their second assault, they had help from other powers. Yet, not a single one of them managed to make it out of the Giant’s Continent alive.
Moreover, Tian Yang learned that the cultivators from the Three Pillars of Heaven were still trying to enter the God Realm and that he was the first in this world, besides Kulas, to reach this level.
Although the Three Pillars of Heaven had decided not to attack the Giant’s Continent until they also had a cultivator in the God Realm after their first failure, they became impatient and attacked anyway.
“Now that I have reached the God Realm, I should contact Shura again…”
After preparing himself, Tian Yang used the communication technique to contact Shura.
Several minutes after the summoning, Tian Yang found his consciousness drifting through the starry sky like the previous two times.
“It’s been a while, Senior Shura.” Tian Yang greeted first.
“Senior? I may be much older than you, but I do not care about mortal customs. Just call me by my name,” said Shura.
“I understand, Shura.”
“Looks like you have finally achieved the realm of godhood—at least in mortal terms. Now, I can finally tell you about my goal.”
“Before that, I want to tell you the name of the Eternal who is messing with my friend. His name is Zaaran.”
“Zaaran, huh? He’s a tough one to deal with… No, quite frankly, I don’t think there’s anything I can do to him, and it’s not because I lack the power to deal with him.”
“Then why?” Tian Yang asked with a frown on his face.
“He’s under a different group, and the leader of that group is even more troublesome, especially since he’s one of the three most powerful Eternals in the universe. Although I can speak with Zaaran, I cannot force him to stop, and he’s not the type who listens to others who aren’t in his group.”
“…”
Tian Yang fell silent after hearing the situation from Shura. Although he didn’t want to say it, fearing it might offend Shura, Tian Yang no longer had a reason to help now that Shura couldn’t assist him with Kulas. ‘It would be safer if I just say that I’ll continue to help him…’ he thought to himself.
Shura continued, “While I cannot directly help you with your friend, I can tell you Zaaran’s weakness and how you can remove his influence from your friend.”
“Oh?” Tian Yang’s eyes flickered with excitement and hope upon hearing such words.
“Zaaran’s weakness is the Yin Element. As long as you destroy the connection between Zaaran and your friend, you will be able to sever Zaaran’s influence. I will also teach you a technique that will allow you to sense said connection.”
Shura immediately transferred a technique into Tian Yang’s mind.
“I gave you an additional gift to make up for my lack of ability. It will allow you to sense an Eternal’s influence. In other words, you will know if you come across a mortal influenced by an Eternal as long as you touch them.”
Tian Yang was pleasantly surprised by the additional gift. In fact, this second gift was incredibly useful, as it allowed him to know if someone had been influenced by an Eternal.
“There is one thing you must keep in mind about that power. Although it can sense an Eternal’s influence, it will only work on those weaker than me or near my level, so you won’t be able to sense it if that Eternal is much stronger than me,” Shura warned.
