Chapter 2087: I am the Immortal Monarch
Chapter 2087: I am the Immortal Monarch
"Good lord, what happened to that pervert?" Feng Yuxiang commented after seeing Bai Xutao’s new appearance.
Not only was Bai Xutao much bigger than before, but the patterns on his body had also changed.
"The Clan Leader mentioned Blood Essence, so that was most likely what he consumed," said Yuan.
"Blood Essence... What are the chances that he consumed the Heavenly White Tiger—one of the Nine Divine Supreme’s Blood Essence?" Feng Yuxiang asked.
"Judging by the Clan Leader’s reaction, it’s likely."
"Isn’t that really bad? I mean, it was likely prepared for you."
Yuan fell silent for a moment before responding, "Don’t worry, I have a way to extract the Blood Essence even if he consumed it. However, it’s going to be very painful for him, and he’s certainly going to die afterward."
"How are you going to do that?" Feng Yuxiang asked, unaware of Yuan’s abilities as the Immortal Monarch.
"You’ll see in a bit." Yuan said with a mysterious smile on his face.
Meanwhile, the Clan Leader struggled to subdue Bai Xutao, facing increasing difficulty. In the world of beasts, superior cultivation alone wasn’t the key to dominance—it was the bloodline. Those with a more powerful bloodline could command those of lesser heritage, regardless of cultivation.
Though Bai Xutao’s bloodline was only slightly stronger than the Clan Leader’s, it had been amplified by their ancestor’s blood essence. Moreover, the Clan Leader had to act in a way that wouldn’t kill Bai Xutao, making the process incredibly tricky.
The other members of the Heavenly White Tiger Clan watched from afar, their eyes wide with shock and disbelief.
None of them realized that Bai Xutao had consumed their ancestor’s blood essence and figured his rampage was caused by another factor.
Several hours had passed since Bai Xutao consumed the blood essence and lost control, yet the Clan Leader still hadn’t been able to subdue him. Meanwhile, Bai Xutao’s cultivation had soared to the fourth level of God Ascension, his power growing exponentially.
The Clan Leader eventually had to accept a harsh truth—that he alone was incapable of subduing Bai Xutao without killing him. However, doing so would not only squander Bai Xutao’s bloodline potential but also waste the precious blood essence he had consumed.
’Fuck! What should I do with him?!’
Killing Bai Xutao was out of the question for the Clan Leader. If he couldn’t handle the situation on his own, he would rather allow Bai Xutao to continue rampaging until a solution presented itself—regardless of whether it meant the destruction of the entire Heavenly White Valley.
"Looks like you’re having trouble. Need some help?"
A familiar voice suddenly echoed, pulling the Clan Leader out of his stunned daze.
"W-What’s he doing here?!"
The elders gasped in shock as Yuan materialized out of thin air. They had believed that the Clan Leader had already taken care of him.
When the Clan Leader saw Yuan, his face went pale, his expression filled with disbelief as if he had just seen a ghost. Startled, he jumped back, instinctively distancing himself from the unexpected appearance.
"Y-You! How the hell are you still alive?!" he exclaimed.
"Why wouldn’t I be alive? You never killed me." Yuan calmly shrugged.
"Bullshit! I know my attack landed on you!"
"It did. But that doesn’t mean I’ll die from it."
The Clan Leader was speechless.
"So, do you need help?" Yuan asked again, his voice snapping the Clan Leader out of his daze.
"Do you really think you can pretend you didn’t attack our clan?" the Clan Leader shot back, his voice hardening. "Even if we accept your help, it won’t save you from your death sentence."
"Sounds like you want my help," said Yuan.
"Get lost!" The Clan Leader roared, launching the same devastating technique he had used before.
"Heavenly Tiger’s White Flash!"
The attack tore through Yuan’s body, but this time, the Clan Leader watched in astonishment as Yuan’s injuries healed almost instantly, his form regenerating with a fluid, liquid-like motion.
"What the fuck are you...?" The Clan Leader asked, his voice laced with nervousness.
"I’m a human," Yuan replied calmly, his tone unwavering.
He then turned toward Bai Xutao, still rampaging, and added, "Even if you don’t want my help, I’m going to do something about him, as he consumed what belongs to me."
"What? Do you even know what he consumed?"
"One of the Nine Divine Supreme’s blood essence, correct? The Heavenly White Tiger—your ancestor’s blood essence."
"If you already know, then why would you claim it to be yours—" The Clan Leader suddenly halted his words when Yuan turned around to face Bai Xutao.
Before the Clan Leader could continue, Yuan flew at Bai Xutao.
"What are you planning to do to him?!" The Clan Leader hastily chased after him.
"What I was trying to do from the very beginning—kill him."
"Bastard! If I wanted to kill him, do you really think I would need your help?! I will not allow you to kill him!"
"And how are you going to stop me when you can’t even kill me?"
"You bastard!!!"
The Clan Leader erupted with fury, unleashing his most powerful martial techniques upon Yuan in rapid succession. The sheer force of his attacks obliterated the surrounding area, as if a nuclear blast had detonated at the heart of the valley.
The attack didn’t manage to kill Yuan, but it did attract Bai Xutao’s attention, who immediately pounced at them with surging killing intent.
"Stay away!" The Clan Leader roared before attempting to throw Bai Xutao as far as possible with his spiritual energy.
Though he couldn’t pinpoint it, there was something about Yuan that made him fearful for Bai Xutao’s life.
However, Bai Xutao forcefully stopped himself from being blown away and immediately pounced at them again.
"This stubborn fool!" The Clan Leader roared.
A moment later, Bai Xutao reached Yuan and opened his mouth in an attempt to consume him.
Yuan’s eyes suddenly flickered with immense killing intent, and an indescribable aura exuded from his entire being, halting Bai Xutao’s movements.
Although he had no control over his body, his primal instincts screamed at him to run away before it was too late.
Then, he turned around and started running away, dumbfounding the Clan Leader and the others watching.
Yuan narrowed his eyes and coldly sneered, "Do you really think I will let you escape a third time?"
He raised his hand and made a grasping motion toward Bai Xutao’s escaping figure, instantly halting him.
"I don’t know what you’re planning on doing, but it will not happen on my watch!"
The Clan Leader quickly moved to stand between them before extending his claw-like hands at Yuan’s neck.
Yuan’s silver eyes flickered, and he spoke in a commanding tone, "Stand down."
In an instant, the Clan Leader’s movements halted.
"W-What is this?!" The Clan Leader exclaimed in shock and confusion.
Yuan didn’t answer him and made another command, "Move aside."
The Clan Leader tried to resist his command this time, but alas, it was a futile attempt.
"Who the hell are you?!" The Clan Leader roared as his body forcefully listened to Yuan’s command.
Yuan stared at him dead in the eyes and calmly revealed, "Who am I? I am the Immortal Monarch."
"What...?" The Clan Leader’s eyes widened with shock and disbelief.
From a distance, Bai Ning watched in bewilderment, her jaw dropping to the ground.
