Cultivation: I Have a Golden Talisman
Chapter 607 - 29: Stone Sect, Dragon Palace, Giant Whale
The Outer Void.
In the cold, pitch-black depths of space, a great, dark-cyan tomb traversed the turbulent currents of the void, pressing onward.
Compared to the vastness of the void, the great tomb was but a speck of dust, vanishing in the blink of an eye.
This was precisely why Feng Yan and Fang Cheng had chosen to enter the Outer Void.
Had they remained in the Jade Flower Realm, they would have inevitably drawn the relentless pursuit of the Beiming Immortal Race, a far cry from their current peace and quiet.
To be on the safe side, Fang Cheng also deployed the Void God Gu, completely concealing the great tomb’s presence.
Inside the great tomb, with the help of his Circulation Qi Collection Technique, Feng Yan’s cultivation steadily rose until it finally reached a state of consummation.
"The path to ascension is profound and mysterious, unique to each individual. However, one aspect is universal: one must refine the essence of their entire life’s daoist arts, returning to a state of pure simplicity, and elevate them to the point of entering the Dao."
"Once you enter the Dao, the Celestial Dao Origin will no longer seek to destroy and devour you. Celestial Tribulations will cease to descend. Instead, it will regard a Cultivator as a foreign body and begin to repel them... We can then use this repulsive force to sense the location of the Spiritual Sky Realm and ascend in a single stroke."
Feng Yan explained unhurriedly from her cross-legged position on the cloud bed.
Fang Cheng listened, feeling completely unperturbed.
He possessed the Creation Golden Talisman; for him, communing with the Celestial Dao Origin, triggering a Celestial Tribulation, or achieving entry into the Dao with his arts were all simple matters.
In any other World Heaven, he might have already overcome the Ninth Celestial Tribulation and begun the process of ascension.
Feng Yan continued, "I originally only had a thirty percent chance of successfully ascending. If I can secure the fated opportunity within the Taixu Gate this time, my chances might increase to seventy percent."
To her, the most precious things aboard the Immortal Ship within the Taixu Gate were the cultivation insights and legacy left behind by an Upper Realm Spirit Immortal before they passed away in meditation.
If she could immerse herself in studying the Spirit Immortal’s remnant will and draw upon the Spirit Immortal Technique, she could surely corroborate her own lifelong studies and find the method to "enter the Dao."
Fang Cheng smiled. "Feng Yan, you are deeply fortunate. Your ascension to the Spiritual Sky Realm is just around the corner. If I run into trouble in the future, I might just have to ask you to send down a Spirit Immortal Incarnation to help me."
Feng Yan gave a knowing smile.
As they were joking, a long, narrow fissure appeared in the pitch-black void ahead. Endless, dazzling white light burst forth from it.
Fang Cheng’s Divine Sense naturally extended past the great tomb, allowing him to clearly "see" the scene.
The long, narrow fissure stretched for over a hundred thousand miles, yet was only a thousand miles wide. It looked as if someone had violently ripped a gash in the darkness of the Outer Void. A dense Spiritual Mechanism emanated from it, surprisingly similar to the Upper Realm Spiritual Qi he absorbed when using his Circulation Qi Collection Technique.
"This is the Lingkong Celestial Ruins."
Feng Yan said slowly.
As the great tomb drew closer, Fang Cheng felt the sheer, awe-inspiring power of this cosmic spectacle all the more.
In the void near the Lingkong Celestial Ruins, there was a mountain-sized Star Stone. It floated like a black dot against the backdrop of the long, immense Celestial Ruins.
Countless palaces and pavilions dotted the surface of this Star Stone; it was, surprisingly, a marketplace.
Feng Yan explained to Fang Cheng, "That is the Celestial Ruins Marketplace. It was established specifically for Tribulation Realm Cultivators who come to explore the Lingkong Celestial Ruins. It’s said the marketplace is filled with treasures, most of which originate from the ruins themselves. Even things like True Spirit Blood, Spirit Immortal Remains, Tier Six Demon Pills, and Tier Six Magical Artifact Fragments are not uncommon."
The Lingkong Celestial Ruins were immense, comparable in size to an Outer World. They concealed endless fated opportunities, and even after so many years, they have yet to be fully explored.
Furthermore, it was home to many Tier Six Demon Beasts, as well as Celestial and Earthly Spiritual Objects brought down from the Spiritual Sky Realm. Rare treasures and precious medicines appeared there frequently.
Fang Cheng recalled what Beiming Cang Xue had said about the Spirit Immortal’s Abandoned Mansion. He pondered for a moment, feeling uncertain.
Concealed by the Void God Gu, the great tomb gave the Celestial Ruins Marketplace a wide berth, passing directly through the void fissure of brilliant white light and entering the Celestial Ruins.

Cloud-piercing mountains stood like swords driven into the earth. Beyond them, a great river surged, vast and unending.
A vast, primeval forest covered the land, filled with countless colossal trees that scraped the sky.
Fang Cheng and Feng Yan emerged from the great tomb and stood high in the sky. Gazing upon the magnificent landscape of the Lingkong Celestial Ruins, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe.
The Spiritual Qi within the Celestial Ruins was incredibly dense. Traces of the great war between Spirit Immortals from a bygone era were still visible upon the land. An ancient battlefield, preserved for over a hundred thousand years, had now become a forbidden zone.
Directly ahead of them, a chasm stretching for hundreds of miles cut through the immense forest.
Judging by its shape, the chasm appeared to be a massive blade scar!
An endless, malevolent blade energy permeated the chasm, having not dispersed to this day.
In the distant mountain range, many peaks were sheared in half. Some of the shattered mountaintops had collapsed into the valleys below, while others, shrouded in a strange spiritual light, floated bizarrely in the sky.
Feng Yan had explored this place many times in years past. Now, leading Fang Cheng and Xia Yue, she headed straight for the Taixu Gate.
Along the way, the three of them avoided various perilous areas. They occasionally came across immortal trees, Spiritual Medicines, or even Tier Five Demon Beasts, but they sped past without paying them any mind for the time being.
In less than half a day, an immense Stone Sect appeared in the sky before them.
The majestic Stone Sect stood tall in the firmament, occupying half the sky. It towered tens of thousands of feet high, and the gateway itself was empty, save for a constantly swirling vortex of black and white clouds.
The Stone Sect was covered in Sword Marks and fist imprints. The most severe damage was on the lower-left side of the portal, where something seemed to have struck it with immense force, leaving a huge indentation. Cracks radiated outward from the impact, spreading across almost the entire Stone Sect.
