Chapter 971 - 417: Within the Vast Realm (Part 2)

Chapter 971 - 417: Within the Vast Realm (Part 2)

Jiang Yingchu still couldn’t forget Ning Qi’s every move within the War Domain. An up-and-coming junior, surpassing even the strongest Sect Leader like him—how could he not be concerned?

But now, upon hearing that Ning Qi had stayed behind, Jiang Yingchu instantly lost his temper.

Even a Sect Leader like Zhao Yujun had been driven away from the War Domain, yet the much younger Ning Qi remained. This clearly showed the favor Saint Ancestor and Sea Ancestor had for Ning Qi.

High above, Ning Qi silently observed the people below.

It seemed the cultivators of Haoran Realm were sensible enough not to make things difficult for Sword Ancestor and the others. Otherwise, Ning Qi wouldn’t mind teaching them a lesson.

"Let’s go, return to the previous location."

Ning Qi nudged the donkey’s belly and instructed.

The black donkey, bizarrely silent, departed the area quickly.

Below, Jiang Yingchu faced the cultivators from Mountain and Sea Realm, unable to leave with the carefree manner of Ning Qi. As the highest-ranking person in Haoran Realm now, he had to make arrangements for Zhao Yujun and others.

He glanced at the crowd and said, "Would you like to come to Vast Immortal Sect with me?"

Zhao Yujun and Sword Ancestor exchanged a glance.

Sword Ancestor replied, "Sorry, Sect Leader Jiang, we wish to camp here."

"You mean..."

"This place is closest to the War Domain. If anything happens, we can be the first to know."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yingchu nodded.

He understood that Sword Ancestor and his companions were loyal to Ning Qi, and he thought highly of their loyalty.

"Sect Leader Zhao, you are under Sea Ancestor, are you staying too?"

Zhao Yujun’s eyes flickered, thinking deeply.

Jiang Yingchu was clearly uneasy about them staying here, inviting them to Vast Immortal Sect, where enough power would deter them.

But she couldn’t possibly agree and so replied:

"Naturally, we also want to know the situation with Sea Ancestor. If Sect Leader Jiang is uneasy about us, why not bring all your Harmonization cultivators here from Haoran Realm."

Jiang Yingchu awkwardly smiled, "There’s no need, we’re all on the same boat now."

Zhao Yujun’s expression turned serious, saying, "I wasn’t joking with Sect Leader Jiang. If neither Ancestor can deal with Mountain Ancestor, even though our strength pales in comparison, perhaps here we might help resist to some extent."

Seeing her serious expression, Jiang Yingchu finally understood.

The situation in the War Domain might be worse than he thought, and he nodded, saying:

"Then I shall bring in the Harmonization cultivators to guard here with you!"

"Alright!"

The other Haoran cultivators present tensed their previously relaxed minds upon returning to Haoran Realm.

...

Ning Qi rode the black donkey back to Vast Immortal Sect’s location.

Vast Immortal Sect’s islands floated in groups above the center of Haoran Realm, overall manifesting a grand and magnificent appearance, looking sacred and inviolable.

In Haoran Realm, whether mortal or cultivator, anyone who gazed toward them held endless reverence in their eyes.

As the strongest sect in Haoran Realm, Vast Immortal Sect was founded by Saint Ancestor, considered the culmination of his life’s efforts, containing countless secrets unknown.

Ning Qi and the black donkey silently appeared above Vast Immortal Sect.

Both gazed down.

Arriving here, the donkey’s hooves lightly trod the air, becoming more uneasy.

Even as a Fierce Beast of Sea of Realms, supposed to fear neither Heaven nor Earth, it was now silent and wary, just like when entering the Black Water Area.

All because it felt a wave of power from within Vast Immortal Sect strong enough to threaten its life, even more fearsome than the Harmonization cultivators seen before.

A gleam appeared in Ning Qi’s eyes.

With his current mastery of the Golden Pupil of Illusion-breaking, and aided by Saint Ancestor’s Immortal Dao Aura to condense Divine Text Eyes, he combined them into a new Eye of Truth.

It not only sees through illusions but can perceive the Dao.

Vision of rules, perception of the grand Dao, observing various Immortal Paths!

Reflected in Ning Qi’s eyes was the entire Vast Immortal Sect, revealing all its secrets to him.

Every immortal island’s purpose, places of cultivation, artifact refining and alchemy zones, Outer Sect, Inner Sect, core areas, Treasure Pavilion, Forbidden Land... all laid before Ning Qi’s eyes.

Yet Ning Qi’s gaze didn’t linger on these areas.

For Ning Qi now, few things could catch his Dharma Eye.

His gaze ultimately settled on an obscure place within Vast Immortal Sect.

Ning Qi nudged the donkey’s belly, "Go, to there!"

Understanding immediately, the black donkey quietly descended towards Vast Immortal Sect.

Its steps were quick and silent, extremely cautious as if avoiding the attention of the cultivators within Vast Immortal Sect.

After all, Saint Ancestor had long brought Haoran cultivators back from the War Domain.

So within Vast Immortal Sect, cultivators were stationed orderly, vigilantly guarding.

As they approached the secluded spot, suddenly, Jiang Yingchu also returned.

Then mobilized Vast Immortal Sect’s cultivators, flying towards the War Domain direction.

The black donkey jumped in surprise, thinking it had been discovered, but upon seeing Ning Qi remaining calm, it settled down.

Ning Qi paid no heed to Jiang Yingchu’s actions, nor did he concern himself temporarily with Sword Ancestor and others. He had his own tasks to attend to.

Now, as the people within Vast Immortal Sect left, it was quieter.

Ning Qi suddenly pointed at a space, where waves rippled, revealing a concealed space passage.

"Enter!"

The black donkey responded, stepping into the passage.

Their vision darkened, soon restoring brightness.

Looking around, they found themselves in a special place.

This was an obscure domain, suspended in the void.

A broken mountain ridge hung in the void, upon which lay a homely farmer-like courtyard.

Ning Qi sensed the remnants of Saint Ancestor’s presence here.

He slightly smiled, this seemed to be Saint Ancestor’s dwelling in Haoran Realm.

Ning Qi urged the black donkey to ascend the broken mountain. Though looking small, upon landing, it resembled an enormous plaza.

A rocky cliffside had springs flowing into a waterfall; a steep peak bore simple pavilions.

The courtyard lay in the center, in front a desk with four treasures of the study displayed.

Brushes and pens were arranged, white paper spread in the middle.

Behind the desk, a pile of bookshelves carried countless ancient books and scrolls.

Just one glance made the black donkey drowsy.

Ning Qi dismounted, walking nearby.

Just as he intended to inspect Saint Ancestor’s collection, he suddenly closed his eyes.

His main body transmitted a message, causing Ning Qi to frown slightly.

Only after a moment did Ning Qi open his eyes.

Turning back, he gazed into the void, seemingly penetrating the space, then through Haoran Realm’s Boundary Wall, directly into Sea of Realms.

His main body had merged Mountain and Sea Realm with True Martial Realm and was now guiding True Martial Spirit Realm gradually towards Haoran Realm.

Ning Qi received two key messages from his main body requiring his special attention.

Firstly, a branch of Jianmu’s Seed had disappeared, suspected taken by Mountain Ancestor.

Mountain Ancestor then sent someone into Haoran Realm with intentions.

Secondly, the Ancient Road Sacred Map taught by Saint Ancestor was incomplete.

The main body believed the complete map remained in Haoran Realm.

Ning Qi felt a stir in his heart.

His avatar originally came to assess Haoran Realm’s situation, but now it was different; he needed to uncover these mysteries.

Fortunately, his reborn body was swiftly approaching.

"Mountain Ancestor sent people to Haoran Realm too?"

Ning Qi’s eyes emitted a faint glow, rising into the air.

Based on the timeline, Mountain Ancestor’s people should’ve come before he entered the War Domain.

If so, the dispatched ones should’ve already reached Haoran Realm.

Yet, Ning Qi’s avatar had reached Haoran Realm during this period but found no anomalies, let alone Mountain Ancestor’s dispatched individuals.

Ning Qi abruptly glanced at the dried leaf hovering above him.

"Got it!"
