Chapter 779 - 647: Monsters and Escape_3

He didn't expect that Deke, who looked young and not very experienced, had a mysterious force sealed inside him at this level.

Disaster Level.

Having already surpassed the intensity of mysterious graffiti, until now, except for Night Mysterious, Jeming truly hadn't seen any mysterious force exceeding Hazard Level.

It seems because the seal wasn't completely lifted, Deke's Shadow Snake hadn't shown any special power.

But even if it's purely strength-wise, on the battlefield in front, it is overwhelming.

The bite force, penetration ability, and destruction power at the energy level of those two black snakes far exceed the upper limit of Hazard Level.

"It's a pity, the power is too strong, at this stage, the little guy simply can't control it." Jeming couldn't help shaking his head.

Deke's control over this force is indeed incomplete.

Jeming could clearly see that the trajectory of those two black snakes during flight was unstable, and energy was continually spilling.

This indicates that even if not interfered by the enemy, Deke himself couldn't maintain their form for long.

If he could fully control the power of the Shadow Snake, the strength of this strike could increase by at least another thirty percent.

But even so, it was enough.

The two black snakes simultaneously bit the shark monster.

One bit its right arm, the other its left side ribs.

The dark red shield cracked under the puncture of the snake fangs, then shattered.

The venomous teeth of the black snake deeply embedded into the monster's scales and muscles, dark energy poured from the wound into the monster's body.

The shark monster's body suddenly stiffened.

Its shark head opened its mouth, letting out a roar filled with pain and anger.

The twisted human face also simultaneously opened its mouth, emitting a completely different, sharp voice like a crying baby.

The two sounds mixed into a hair-raising acoustic wave.

People in the factory ruins felt their heads aching as if hit by a sledgehammer upon hearing this sound.

And Deke, as the main target of attack, was most affected.

He held firm without falling, but the mysterious force he controlled was starting to lose control.

The shark monster swung its right arm sharply, tossing away the black snake bitten on its arm.

The black snake rolled a few rounds in the air, crashed against the wall, turned into energy fragments, and dissipated.

The other black snake still bit its ribs; with its left hand claw, it directly grasped the snake's body, tightened its five fingers, and crushed the black snake.

Deke's body shook violently, his face turning from pale to ashen.

A hint of blood overflowed from his mouth corners, and his legs went weak, almost kneeling to the ground.

He had already suffered severe mental damage from hearing the scream; now the power he was manipulating got shattered, the power of Shadow Snake was frantically backlashing inside.

His blood vessels bulged under the skin, like black worms writhing beneath.

"Retract it!" Harding's voice commanded undeniably.

He also had to retract the power aimed at the Shadow Thief, erecting a whirlwind barrier in front of himself and Deke, blocking the counterattacking shark monster!

Deke gritted his teeth, desperately pressing the power of the Shadow Snake back into his body.

The black lines bulging from the blood vessels slowly faded, his face turned ashen white, but didn't worsen.

He collapsed to the ground, gasping for air, sweat mixed with rainwater streaming down his face.

But the monster's task was already complete.

The Array gap was wide enough, and Harding was distracted, allowing the Shadow Thief to seize the opportunity and escape his blockade.

Shadow Film oozed out from the gap, spreading rapidly like ink on the cement ground, disappearing into the darkness outside the factory instantly.

The shark monster had no intention of lingering in battle.

It turned and fled without hesitation, even enduring Harding's Storm Strike.

Harding's hail and wind slammed against it, leaving countless fine cracks on its scales, with dark red liquid seeping from the cracks, dripping onto the ground, making sizzling corrosion sounds.

But it turned around, using its unscathed left arm to support the ground.

Like a true beast, it rushed towards the wall it broke through on all fours.

It ran fast.

The five-six meter high body gave a strong sense of oppression while running, the ground trembled under its footsteps, and rocks scattered everywhere when crushed.

The capture team couldn't stop it.

It burst through the giant hole in the wall and rushed into the night, heading toward the sea.

Harding's steps moved slightly, wanting to chase, but instinctively turned back.

Deke was collapsed on the ground, trembling slightly, the backlash of Shadow Snake hadn't fully calmed, the black veins under his skin faintly visible.

He needed someone to stabilize his force; otherwise, those veins could burst anytime, tearing his body apart from the inside.

Harding stopped his steps.

He glanced at Deke, then at the direction the monster disappeared into the night, and at the direction the Shadow Thief fled.

Then, without hesitation, he turned, crouched before Deke, and placed his palm on Deke's chest.

The Eye of the Storm's power transformed into a steady energy flow, slowly infused into Deke's body, helping him suppress the backlash of the Shadow Snake.

"Don't speak." Harding's voice was low, "Stabilize your core, I'll help you gather the power."

Deke closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, feeling Harding's force wandering in his body.

That power smoothed the rampaging energy of the Shadow Snake strand by strand, pressing it back to the sealing core.

This process needed time.

And during this period, the Shadow Thief had already escaped far.

The shark monster also disappeared into the dense fog on the sea.

Harding's face showed no expression, but deep in his eyes, there was a heavy feeling.

Not anger or frustration, but a more complex mix of unwillingness and vigilance.

They had prepared for so long, arranged so much, but still let the mysterious force be rescued.

Someone was orchestrating all this behind the scenes.

Someone was waiting to support the monster at sea.

Someone knew the association's modus operandi, knew they would choose the battlefield here, knew their Sealing Array's nodes location, knew there was no protection arranged towards the ocean direction.
