When Jeming renovated this basement, he used the space expansion techniques commonly used in the Wizard World to "stretch" the existing space.

If someone enters this basement now, they would certainly be surprised, as the size of the interior space is already close to that of a large auditorium.

He couldn't, as he did in the Wizard World, recklessly cover the entire city with Spiritual Power and then sit at home knowing everyone's details cleanly.

Other reconnaissance methods, if exposed to excessively high energy levels, would also attract strange beings.

Therefore, his most reliable intelligence-gathering method, apart from limited daytime Spiritual Power scans, was actually obtaining intelligence from the black market intermediaries.

These people might not be presentable, but their information was indeed well-informed.

Where a new strange occurrence appeared, or what goods the black market had, or what the official Spirit Communicator Association was busy with lately – they knew some of it.

However, this was too passive for Jeming.

Jeming disliked passivity, so he decided to first solve the reconnaissance issue.

The bacteria-sized reconnaissance unit before him was his answer.

The creation process is not particularly complex.

He needed a reconnaissance unit that could collect intelligence over a long range and duration without attracting the attention of bizarre entities.

This unit couldn't have strong energy fluctuations nor emit an "unnatural" aura; it preferably should make the strange consider it a "kindred spirit."

Thus, he thought of the bizarre fragments.

The collected bizarre fragments were put to use at this moment.

Jeming crushed and reconstructed some of these fragments, extracting their unique energy traits, and then integrated these traits into his designed reconnaissance organism.

The means were actually quite rough.

Nearly physically merging the core structure of the reconnaissance unit with the fragments' power, so that the external energy fluctuations resemble a strange entity.

As for the core scouting ability of this reconnaissance unit, it inherited the functionality from a scouting Talisman Witchcraft he broadly used during his Low Level Wizard days: the Eye of the Micro-Light.

Jeming directly continued using that name.

Although the new Eye of the Micro-Light shares little in common with the old one besides the name.

Given Jeming's current level, the scouting and concealing abilities of the Eye of the Micro-Light are not particularly strong.

In the Wizard World, such a level of reconnaissance unit would be considered entry-level; any knowledgeable wizard could easily identify and counter it with a few tricks.
