Not that either of the two cared about the integrity of the floating stone platform, as both had long since reached a realm where fighting in the air or on the ground had no difference for anyone outside of those like the mountain sized demon beast who focused on the Dao of Earth.

If anything, being in the air gave them more of a chance to display their abilities in full, as the snake demon beast used the poisonous miasma like an extension of its body to form a towering heaven swallowing snake that seemed to fill out the entire sky as it descended towards Xuan Hao with a maw seemingly capable of swallowing heaven and earth.

Miasma and sword intent churned violently as the two forces clashed with each other like water meeting fire, causing the sky consumed by the poisonous miasma to shrink visibly as the miasma was forced to gather in the face of the seemingly unstable sword pushing forward to reach the snake hidden within the terrifying image formed from the poisonous miasma.

From originally having been a simple test of strength, the snake demon beast that had intended to finish off the battle fast found itself locked in a clash that showed no sign of ending any time soon. Allowing the sword that had been forcibly held back to once again continue its path forward.

A sight that the snake demon beast was less than pleased with, as the heaven swallowing serpent image, it had formed through its miasma, angrily shifted alongside the miasma filled sky before a heavenly river formed from poisonous water formed around the heaven swallowing serpent. Suppressing the sea of flames before it could do any more damage, as the snake demon beast went on the offensive once again, causing a section of the heavenly river filled with poisonous water to split off and cascade down towards him with a terrifying momentum that would have been more than enough to reduce a normal Land Creation Realm cultivator shivering in fear-
