Chapter 2006  Simple Search Using Divine Sense

Having essentially left Li Feng and the mysterious jade pendant he carried on him for the future as he simply didn't think anything would change regarding the circumstances of this fallen young master from him delaying looking into his situation for a few weeks, Xuan Hao soon enough found himself inside a smaller kingdom that hadn't yet suffered from the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wastelands and existed under the Wei Empire instead of the Blue Sea Empire that the small kingdom that Li Clan was located in did.

In case something really did end up happening to the fallen young master while he wasn't around, he would at least be able to get some warning from the wisp of divine sense he had left lingering on the little young whose cultivation was continuously being devoured by the mysterious little jade pendant.

But that little pendant doesn't seem anywhere near as important as potentially finding the ancient secret realm or mystic realm that the Li Clan originally came from before settling down in that little kingdom…

Quietly thinking this to himself as he arrived at the center of the area that he determined that the ancient secret realm or mystic realm should be in, Xuan Hao didn't waste any time as his divine sense unfolded like an unstoppable wave centered on himself. Not bothering to hide his divine sense, as that would ultimately only reduce the overall effectiveness of this sweep… And there wasn't exactly anyone within the area he was searching through that posed any threat to him. The strongest having barely reached the Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Of course, there was the chance that someone had managed to escape the initial sweep he had done of the area, but to do so, one would either need a similar strength to himself or have some kind of special concealment formation in place, something unlikely outside of the ancient secret realm or mystic realm entrance that he was searching for and been unable to find with a casual sweep of his divine sense.

This more forceful method that couldn't be hidden in the slightest would also ensure that he should pick up on some more subtle fluctuations from concealment formations or similar methods of hiding that he might have originally missed.

"Wh-what is that…!?"

"This is… Divine sense!? S-so powerful!"

"How powerful must one be to wield such a terrifying divine sense…?"

And as his divine sense spread through the surrounding region, it almost instantaneously caused all cultivators it encountered to collapse on the ground shivering in fear. Unable to move a single muscle as all they could do was look up filled with fear as the terrifying divine sense swept over them and covered every inch of their body. Leaving them entirely naked in front of it with no way to resist.

This kind of feeling of essentially being completely naked without anything hidden was nothing short of awful to a cultivator. Especially the stronger ones at the Nascent Soul Realm and above, as they felt even more deeply the terror of the divine sense, as not just everything on their body and hidden trump cards they carried on them were seen through, but even their dantian was directly swept through and thoroughly examined by this terrifying divine sense. Leaving nothing unseen.

The only thing that left all of these stronger cultivators somewhat at ease was the simple fact that the power of the divine sense was so far beyond them that they instinctively understood that the divine sense didn't have any intentions of harming them, they simply stood in the path, as the terrifying divine sense swept through the area searching for something.

What this divine sensed was searching for, none of them had a clue and even if they did, they wouldn't dare to do anything that might attract unwanted attention from the owner of that terrifying divine sense.

As for the ordinary mortals without any cultivation…

"Huh? Why can't I move?"

"Did time stop…?"

"W-what is happening?"

They were able to escape without feeling the same level of fear that the cultivators caught in the divine sense brushing past them felt, as all they felt were their bodies freezing up for a brief moment as something unseen swept past them.

In a way, because they didn't have any cultivation and Xuan Hao didn't exactly utilize his divine sense to do anything beyond search, they only froze instinctually for a few seconds before everything returned to normal. Not knowing what had happened, as they soon enough returned to normal life again like nothing had happened. Not bothering to investigate things closer as nothing had happened to them outside of briefly freezing for a few seconds.

The only place where the situation was different being places where both cultivators and mortals were present, as while the mortals froze for seemingly no reason, the cultivators who had passed next to them ended up collapsing on the ground shivering in fear the second they regained the ability to move. Giving them the opportunity to learn that some kind of powerful cultivator had used their divine sense to sweep through the place searching for something.

Of course, as this powerful cultivator hadn't ended up harming them and only seemed to have scared the local cultivators with their presence, these mortals also soon returned to normal life again. Undisturbed, as they were ultimately still mortals and didn't have much to say regarding cultivators and what they happened to be up to.

Xuan Hao of course saw everything that happened as he saw everything his divine sense swept through and ultimately ended up covering.

In total, it took him a little over three seconds to fully cover the region that he theorized the ancient secret realm or mystic realm was in and another two seconds to forcibly exert pressure through his divine sense before he found an anomality in the south bordering a small empire subordinate to the larger Wei Empire.

It was also around the borders of this small empire that the few Domain Lord Realm cultivators caught up in his divine sense sweep were located, but it didn't really matter much to him, as Domain Lord Realm cultivators weren't exactly much of a threat to someone at the Land Creation Realm.

So, without any hesitation, he retracted his divine sense before tearing through the space in front of him. Taking a step forward before emerging above the location where he had sensed the anomality capable of resisting his divine sense. Emerging above what seemed to be a border city guarded by a Domain Lord Realm cultivator from the small empire.

Of course, he didn't really bother with the horrified and shocked Domain Lord Realm cultivator looking up towards him as he emerged from a small rift in space. Instead focusing his attention on a particular underground space that he sensed just below the surface of the city center.

"Is the entrance perhaps located beneath the city center? Did it get built over in the past because the ones behind this small empire were unable to sense its presence, or… Was it deliberately hidden away?" Quietly muttering this to himself as he stared directly towards the center of the city where he could now easily sense the anomality he had only barely sensed through his divine sense earlier, Xuan Hao guessed that the answer to his question would be answered after he uncovered what had been hidden.

After all, if it had been deliberately hidden away, there should be some signs… And from what he could see so far, there weren't any signs that it had been deliberately hidden away.

Understandable considering that he clearly sensed that for someone to even sense the abnormality, one would at least need to have reached the Land Creation Realm or an understanding of the Dao of Formations that surpassed the Third Heaven of the Saint Realm, both of which weren't exactly easy to find within the Northern Central Region. Especially considering that this was outside the Northern Central Region and instead in the outer regions.

Not bothering to hide what he was doing after examining the situation and ensuring that there weren't any hidden offensive formations or other traps in place around the anomality that should be from some kind of ancient concealment formation, Xuan Hao directly reached out and dug out the center of the city. Ripping out anything that had been built over the anomality in the process to fully unveil it and get a proper look at what he was dealing with…

"Aaaah!?"

"What is this!?"

"My shop!"

Of course, he wasn't out to kill everyone who happened to find themselves in the city center, so he made sure to carry them off to the side and out of the way without harming anyone in the process. Resulting in all kinds of reactions from the people below, who suddenly found themselves being grabbed by some unseen force before being dragged away from the center of the city alongside any buildings or other things that had been built over the years on top of the ancient concealment formation that slowly emerged within Xuan Hao's vision as he tore apart the city center.
