Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1969 Waking Up

Chapter 1969  Waking Up

Following the path of destruction that had been created following Xuan Hao's breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm, Elder Song soon reached the center of the destruction where Xuan Hao had broken through to the Land Creation Realm, but instead of encountering Xuan Hao like he should have, he was instead met with a thin impenetrable barrier that had unconsciously been created by Xuan Hao for self-protection before he lost consciousness due to the pain that had been caused by the awakening of his divine physique.

"This is… The place where Xuan Hao entered seclusion?" Muttering this to himself as he looked towards the barrier, Elder Song wasn't let down by the fact that he couldn't see Xuan Hao. Instead, he had a look of relief on his face. Feeling happy at the simple fact that he had been able to find the place where Xuan Hao had entered secluded cultivation, he understood that there was a very real chance that he wouldn't be able to find him before the time limit for the sect to act in the Blue Sea Empire was up.

Now, all he had to do was wait until Xuan Hao noticed him waiting outside the barrier, as he understood full well that there was no way for him to break a barrier that had been set up by Xuan Hao with his current strength.

As for attacking the barrier to try and get his attention… Elder Song didn't even dare think about doing something like that, as he understood full well that there was a high chance that the barrier had some kind of self-defense mechanism built into it. Meaning it might end up attacking him if he tried to attack it to get Xuan Hao's attention.

Still… Just waiting outside the barrier was more than enough to make him feel a sense of nervousness, as he understood from the simple fact that Xuan Hao hadn't reached out to him that he was still in secluded meditation and wasn't paying attention to the outside world in the process.

All he could do for now was silently pray that Xuan Hao would emerge from seclusion and discover him so the situation in the Blue Sea Empire could be properly dealt with by him. Hopefully in a way that wouldn't end up hurting the reputation of the Star Shattering Sect in the process.

The problem was that he didn't know if Xuan Hao was strong enough to uphold the sect's current reputation in the face of not just the Frozen Wasteland, but the entirety of the Northern Central Region, something that would undoubtedly be difficult to accomplish for someone in the Sea Formation Realm, as those involved from the Frozen Wastelands and the different major powers had all reached the Land Creation Realm.

Even then, with Xuan Hao having been able to solve the problems that the sect had ended up encountering in the past, Elder Song felt confident that he would be able to solve this problem that had been caused by the different neutral powers now aligned with the sect through trade.

As for what to do about those neutral powers that had ended up causing this problem in the first place… Elder Song already had some ideas, but to implement them without it looking suspicious to outsiders, it would have to wait until after the situation with the Blue Sea Empire was taken care of…

At the same time Elder Song had nervously arrived at the edge of the barrier that had unknowingly been formed before he had lost consciousness due to the terrifying pain that the awakening of his divine physique, the Stellar Dao Body, had ended up causing, Xuan Hao found himself starting to slowly stir awake thanks to the new presence arriving at the edge of the barrier.

Not because Elder Song had ended up doing something specific to cause this awakening, but instead because his lingering divine sense had picked up this new presence and caused his soul to stir slightly. Allowing him to start the process of slowly waking up from the deep slumber he had been forced into, to shield his mind from the worst of the pain that came along with the awakening of the Stellar Dao Body.

But even as his soul began to stir and start the process of waking up earlier than it would have originally thanks to the appearance of Elder Song, the process still wasn't something that happened in a short time, as the awakening itself took a good twelve hours before he could be considered to be fully awake capable of once again perceiving his surroundings.

The problem was, though his soul had woken from the slumber it had been forced into, it still ended up taking another few hours before he regained control of his body, as the changes brought along by the awakening of the Stellar Dao Body also ended up causing a slight disconnect between his body and soul after awakening. Forcing him to spend some time reestablishing the connection between his body and soul.

This wasn't something that left any kind of permanent damage but could more so be considered him having to take some time to learn how to properly move his body after then awakening of the Stellar Dao Body.

After all, outside of significantly increasing his affinity for the Dao of Space, the awakening of his divine physique also brought along other changes to his body that were a bit harder to adjust to. The most jarring one being the change in vision that had essentially been forced upon him after he awakened the Stellar Dao Body. Allowing him to peer directly into the spatial dimension or void that he had grown used to travelling through whenever he was using long distance teleportation or other similar spatial movement techniques like the Drifting Cloud Steps.

The problem was that he essentially didn't have a way to turn off this vision and had found himself forced to stare into the empty void for a good few hours until he managed to adjust to it and return his vision to what could be considered again.

The ability to peer directly into the spatial dimension or void that made up the very fabric of space itself was beneficial not just to his future comprehension of the Dao of Space and combat that involved the Dao of Space, but for day to day life, it wasn't exactly beneficial and was more so a hindrance as it made it close to impossible to perceive any Dao other than the Dao of Space.

Outside of this unique ability that would be beneficial for his future comprehension of the Dao of Space and the direct improvement in strength his physical body had experienced after the awakening of the Stellar Dao Body, there was also another unique change that had taken place inside his dantian.

However, different from the other changes, he couldn't fully perceive what this change was exactly outside of the fact that it had helped enlarge his dantian and make it more stable than it was before. Allowing him to freely expand the landmass that had formed at the center of his dantian after his breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm without having to worry about further improving his comprehension of the different Daos he had comprehended so far.

Speaking of which, he was still somewhat lost when it came to how others reached the Land Creation Realm, as he doubted anyone had comprehended the same numbers of Daos that he had upon reaching the Land Creation Realm. Feeling curious and wanting to take the chance to try and see if he could learn more about the situation when it came to other Land Creation Realm cultivators.

But before any of this, he first had to figure out what Elder Song wanted from him, as he had just sensed the old man waiting patiently just outside the barrier that he had somehow formed unconsciously to protect himself before losing consciousness during the awakening of his divine physique.

Unfortunately, not having noticed the old man instantly due to his soul and body having been in a rather chaotic state where he didn't yet have full control of either and was in the process of getting used to the new sensations and vision after awakening the Stellar Dao Body.

Now that he had noticed the old man, he wasted no time lifting the barrier that had been formed around him before dragging him inside. Curious about what had caused the old man to wait next to him for what should have at least been a day or two from what he could tell.

The only thing he was certain about was that while it should be something important, it shouldn't pertain to the sect encountering a deadly situation, as he had given Elder Song instructions to contact him through an emergency communication talisman if something like that happened.

Even if it might not have mattered considering his precarious situation during the awakening of his Stellar Dao Body, he could at least tell that he hadn't attempted to contact him through that communication talisman. Meaning the sect wasn't at danger of being destroyed.
