Unaware of the situation Feng Chen had found himself in because of his own misconception regarding no changes having taken place to the overall structure of the chaotic qi formation after it had bee upgraded by the system, Xuan Hao ascended back up to the fifteenth floor of the tower. Encountering a demon beast at the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm before he even had the chance to check the task he needed to complete to move on to the next floor

Of course, though far more powerful than any demon beast he had fought so far inside the ascension realm tower, it was still not a match for him and was dealt with rather quickly. Although, the sudden attack from this demon beast did end up making him utilize his divine sense to observe his surroundings to make sure that no other demon beast would end up sneaking up on him again…

"Hm? This is…" And it was when he used his divine sense to sweep through the fifteenth floor of the tower, that he finally realized that the sheer size of the fifteenth floor was large enough that even using his divine sense at full strength wasn't enough to cover it. Leaving him unaware of the entire state of a floor for the first time. Making him wonder if it might be a bit more difficult for him to get through the fifteenth floor of the tower because of its sheer size.

But this thought didn't last for long, as the tasks presented by the tower were far simpler than he had originally anticipated, being rather straight forward. Potentially because it was the first floor of the tower that involved the Dao Seed Realm or maybe just because he had been lucky to get a rather simple task for someone like himself, as it would undoubtedly still be a difficult row of tasks for anyone who wasn't him. Be it the sheer difficulty of killing a demon beast in the Dao Seed Realm or the difficulty in finding Transcendent Spiritual Herbs across such a vast area, everything would be difficult to accomplish for someone who had only reached the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm.

Not to mention the still unknown strength of the floor boss that had potentially surpassed the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm.

Outside of that, the thing that he found the most interesting was the second task that required him to gather three transcendent grade spiritual herbs. Not because he hadn't encountered any transcendent grade spiritual herbs inside the ascension realm tower, but because he wondered if he would be able to keep the spiritual herbs as this was the first task that required him to gather spiritual herbs. Any tasks before had either been about killing demon beasts or something unique like the previous floor. Never about gathering spiritual herbs.

But if this means that there are more spiritual herbs hidden on this floor, it might be a good thing even if I won't be able to take those three required to complete the task out with me.

Thinking this to himself as he glanced over the panel floating in front of him, Xuan Hao began to focus his divine sense on searching for any nearby spiritual herbs he might have missed earlier during the initial sweep of the floor he had just done to see if there were any demon beasts lying in wait to potentially attack him.

In the end, though he didn't end up finding all three transcendent grade spiritual herbs he needed, he did end up finding one along with several other lower quality spiritual herbs that were still immensely useful due to their rarity. Potentially even making some of mystic grade spiritual herbs worth far more than some ordinary transcendent grade spiritual herbs.

At the same time, he also discovered that one of the nearby Dao Seed Realm demon beasts happened to be guarding the transcendent grade spiritual herb. Making it rather obvious for him to take care of it while picking up the spiritual herb that soon enough found a new home inside his interspatial ring together with the rest of the spiritual herbs that entered his sight.

Not lingering around on the fifteenth floor for too long, Xuan Hao soon enough found himself face to face with the floor boss of the fifteenth floor, a demon beast that seemed to have just recently broken through to the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm.

Weak as it might be to him, there was a significant difference between the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm and the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm. Essentially reaching the point where it was close to impossible for someone at the Early Stage of the Dao Seed Realm to kill someone at the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm. This difference between minor realms would only continue to grow larger in the future.

For example, the difference between the Late Stage of the Sea Formation Realm and the Peak of the Sea Formation Realm was so wide that even before he had reached the Peak of the Sea Formation Realm, Xuan Hao had essentially reached a level where he was incomparable to someone who had just broken through to the Late Stage of the Sea Formation Realm. The difference between him and someone like that might as well be an entire major realm.

Overall, while the fifteenth floor was rather simple when it came to the tasks one needed to complete to advance to the sixteenth floor, it would still be challenging to get through. Especially considering that most who would end up challenging the fifteenth floor in the future were likely to do so in groups, something that would in turn increase the difficulty of the tasks. By how much, he didn't know, but he was certain that it wouldn't be anywhere as simple as the three tasks he had been given when challenging the fifteenth floor on his own.

Ascending to the Sixteenth floor, the challenge didn't pose much of a challenge either, as it was still designed for the Dao Seed Realm. The only thing of note being the still increasing ascension coins awarded, as he soon enough moved on to the seventeenth and then eighteenth floor of the tower, with the later being the last floor designated for the Dao Seed Realm.

The challenge on this last floor dedicated to the Dao Seed Realm was by no means simple, as it involved a rather unique challenge and a final floor boss that had reached the Peak of the Dao Seed Realm.

However, even though the floor boss of the eighteenth floor had reached the Peak of the Dao Seed Realm and shouldn't have been much of a challenge to someone like himself, Xuan Hao had been shocked to discover that by essentially just rushing through the eighteenth floor of the tower. Ignoring the originally intended way to clear the floor, the floor boss was empowered by several ancient formations that allowed his strength to climb all the way to the Middle Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm.

Making it essentially impossible for anyone in the Dao Seed Realm to forcibly try and force their way through the floor like he did.

No… Not just someone in the Dao Seed Realm, but even someone in the Profound Immortal Realm or the Celestial Immortal Realm would find it difficult to force their way through the eighteenth floor, as the empowered floor boss was by no means weaker than someone who had naturally reached the Middle Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm.

On the other hand, the other party seemed to be capable of using techniques far more complex and terrifying than any Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators he had encountered so far. Making it a significantly more difficult opponent to deal with than even a Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator from the Blue Sea Empire.

Still, after having a rather enjoyable experience dealing with the empowered floor boss on the eighteenth floor, Xuan Hao ultimately killed the other party before finding himself standing at the base of the spiral staircase leading up towards the nineteenth floor. The floor where the real challenge would finally begin for him, as it would start to involve the Celestial Immortal Realm and the Profound Immortal Realm.

Although confident that he would be able to clear the nineteenth floor, he also understood that it would become difficult to force his way through like he had done before, as he might encounter something like the floor boss on the eighteenth floor that could forcibly elevate its strength to a terrifying degree. Potentially skipping several major realms in the process. Turning a floor boss that would normally have been simple enough to deal with into an impossible to defeat opponent.
