Chapter 1852: Healing the Demon Beast

Returning to the large open square where Huo fen and Meng Jie were still busy with the five alchemy artifacts, Xuan Hao casually placed the half dead Land Creation Realm demon beast on the side before walking over to the pile of spiritual herbs that had been stacked up on the side by the two. Not wasting any time as he began rummaging through the pile to find a few spiritual herbs that would be useful for creating a few healing pills.

Although most of the spiritual herbs present weren’t exactly familiar to him, he had luckily managed to get his hands on a few alchemy recipes that required the herbs that Huo Fen and his disciple had managed to find. Only problem being that most of these recipes were of the Saint Grade, far too high level for him to make with his current comprehension of the Dao of Alchemy or far too low level that it wouldn’t be useful for a Land Creation Realm demon beast.

The few recipes he managed to find that could prove useful ultimately centered around spiritual herbs that couldn’t be found amidst the large pile of spiritual herbs, a truly unfortunate situation, as Xuan Hao realized that he couldn’t make any healing pills or elixirs for the demon beast nor did he have any on him.

Helping the Land Creation Realm demon beast like he had originally believed to be something that would be rather simple to accomplish, had suddenly turned out to be far more difficult than he had originally anticipated.

Even if it was not required for him to help out the Land Creation Realm demon beast, considering he planned for it to become the first official ancestor figure of the Star Shattering Sect outside of himself, he planned to ensure that it wouldn’t end up suffering any damage that could potentially harm its foundation and make future progress impossible.

But... If I can’t make any pills or healing elixirs on my own, I should be able to make them with the help of those five alchemy artifacts...

Narrowing his eyes slightly as he thought this to himself, Xuan Hao’s focus shifted towards the five alchemy artifacts that both Huo Fen and Meng Jie were working on to ensure that nothing went wrong in the creation process of the pill that they had used the Stardusk Essence in.

Given that the two of them were busy using the five alchemy artifacts for now, he would have to wait until they were done, something that did come with clear risks, as he had no idea how long it would take for the Land Creation Realm cultivators already inside the ancient alchemy sect ruins to find this location and start trying to break through the ancient formation guarding the place.

Not to mention, now that he was aware of the presence of ancient teleportation formations inside this small relatively intact section of the ancient alchemy sect, he also had to be ready for one of those Land Creation Realm cultivators potentially finding their way inside the formation like the Land Creation Realm demon beast had ended up doing.

The only slight reassurance he felt in this regard was the fact that the ancient teleportation formation that the Land Creation Realm demon beast had used, had already crumbled and turned into dust by the time he showed up. Meaning that the overall state of the ancient teleportation formations connecting to the space inside the ancient formation should be far from optimal...

"Wait... What about those Saint Grade Pills those two already made?" Muttering this to himself as he suddenly realized that he had overseen something, Xuan Hao turned his attention toward Meng Jie, who had momentarily stepped aside to let her master take over.

"Meng Jie, did the two of you make any healing pills when you were making pills earlier with those five artifacts?" And without any hesitation he stepped forward and directly asked the young woman-

"Huh!? Ah!" Catching her slightly off guard as she almost jumped before registering the question. "Yes! We did make a few. Do you need some?" Not hesitating for even a second as she pulled out countless pills from her interspatial ring to show off.

Considering how Xuan Hao had already helped the two of them get what they wanted and even helped save their life, Meng Jie didn’t really show much care for this massive number of Saint Grade Pills, as she almost directly stuffed them into Xuan Hao’s embrace after hearing that he was asking for healing pills.

"Ah... Yes, thank you..." Taken aback by how direct the young woman was, Xuan Hao could only give a slightly awkward smile before accepting the large number of Saint Grade Healing Pills. Knowing that he didn’t really have any other way to help stabilize the Land Creation Realm demon beast’s injuries.

"Ohhh! Since when did a demon beast show up?" But because of this brief exchange, Meng Jie also ended up spotting the demon beast that was lying on the ground not too far away covered in blood. Not taking long to realize what the healing pills were for.

However, because she lacked context of how this demon beast had ended up in its current half dead state and along with the fact that she had noticed Xuan Hao leaving the two of them earlier, she began guessing on her own that the state of this demon beast was most likely the doing of Xuan Hao.

As for why he was now putting effort into helping heal this demon beast? Obviously, that was because he had taken an interest in the demon beast and wanted to tame it!

Although Meng Jie did not know much about Xuan Hao, it was clear that he wouldn’t do something like this without reason and taming was the only thing she could think of. After all, from a single glance, she was certain that this demon beast was powerful beyond belief. Having at least reached the Celestial Immortal Realm as far as she could tell and clearly not a normal Celestial Immortal Realm demon beast!

Eyes shining, Meng Jie lost interest in continuing to help her master and instead decided to follow behind Xuan Hao towards the injured demon beast. Knowing that her master would be fine on his own, all she really did was help cheer on from the side by adding a bit of her own spiritual qi into operating one of the five alchemy artifacts, something her master would easily be able to handle on his own.

Sensing the presence of this curious little one, Xuan Hao decided to ignore it as he approached the half dead demon beast with the Saint Grade Healing Pills. Wasting no time before feeding a few of them to the unconscious demon beast. Watching in real time as the countless wounds across the surface of the relatively small demon beast began closing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

At the same time, he was also using his divine sense to observe the internal state of the demon beast and though the pace of healing the internal injuries was far slower, it was still happening without running into any problems. Showing just how potent a Saint Grade Healing Pill was, as even the slight cracks that had formed on the core of the demon beast began closing on their own. Ensuring that there wouldn’t be any permanent damage to the foundation of the demon beast due to its core or dantian healing incorrectly.

Of course, with this rapid healing taking place, the demon beast that had remained unconscious so far slowly began to stir.

However, with how deep the injuries were, Xuan Hao estimated that it would still take a few hours before the demon beast woke up.

Before that, he would have to make sure that he could convince this little demon beast to join the Star Shattering Sect, as he really didn’t want to end up in a situation where he helped the demon beast recover only for it to attack him the next second.
