Chapter 218: Chapter 195: Obtaining Vast Treasures, the Le Family is Annihilated

Then, under the Warehouse Steward’s shocked but silent gaze, Lu Zhao swept through the Grand Warehouse like a swarm of locusts, taking every last Spirit Stone, all kinds of Spiritual Materials, piles of Talismans, and jars upon jars of Pills!

Next, he arrived at the Le Family’s important "Library Pavilion." The Elder on guard was surprised to see the Patriarch in person but didn’t dare to stop him.

"Le Zhongshan" walked straight to the top floor. He took the Le Family’s foundational core inheritance—the complete Jade Scroll for the Middle-Grade Cultivation Technique, the *Jade Sea Returning Essence Skill*. He also took sixteen other Jade Scrolls containing various Lower-Grade Cultivation Techniques of different attributes, along with a fairly complete set of Talisman Making teachings that could lead one to the realm of a Tier Two High-Grade Talisman Master.

As for the subpar Cultivation Techniques and Tier One Cultivation Hundred Arts Collection on the lower floors, Lu Zhao just grabbed them casually. ’They’re of limited value to me,’ he thought, not paying them much mind.

In half a day, Lu Zhao, wearing Le Zhongshan’s face, had plundered nearly all of the Le Family’s accumulated wealth with lightning-fast efficiency. His Storage Bag was now stuffed to the brim, its contents of incalculable value.

’Time to get Little Hui.’ Lu Zhao’s eyes narrowed. His figure transformed into a streak of light, speeding toward the depths of the Le Family estate—to the sinister place where the "Blood Food" was kept.

The place was located in the most remote northwestern corner of the Le Family’s residence, built against a mountain. The entrance was a heavy Profound Iron Gate covered in Restriction Runes, tightly guarded by four Late-stage Qi Cultivators and over ten Qi Cultivation Middle Stage Disciples.

The air was filled with the faint stench of blood and an indescribable, chilling scent of decay that was enough to make one gag.

"Patriarch!" The Guards were surprised to see "Le Zhongshan" arrive, but they still bowed respectfully and quickly deactivated the layers of Restrictions.

Lu Zhao stepped inside, his face expressionless. Beyond the gate was a dark, damp corridor that sloped downward. Dim oil lamps hung on the walls, their flickering flames casting light on dark brown stains. The deeper he went, the heavier the chilling air became, mixed with desperate moans and faint, intermittent sobs. But mostly, there was just dead silence.

At the end of the corridor was a massive dungeon that resembled a natural cavern. In the center was a shocking sight: a "Blood Pool" several dozen feet in diameter, churning with a viscous, dark-red liquid!

A thick stench of blood and Vengeful Qi emanated from it. Around the Blood Pool, hundreds of Wanderers, clothed in rags and reduced to skin and bones, were caged like livestock!

Most of them were unconscious. The few who were awake had vacant, lifeless eyes, their bodies withered and emaciated. A strange, gleaming black rope covered in barbs was wrapped around each Wanderer like a living creature, digging into their flesh and emitting fluctuations that sealed their Magical Power.

It was this Magical Artifact, the "Spirit-Binding Rope," that bound all several hundred of them together.

Every Cultivator here was deathly pale with sunken eyes, their auras as faint as a candle in the wind. It was obvious that the Blood Pool’s Grand Array had already siphoned off most of their Essence Blood and Primordial Qi, leaving them on the brink of death.

Lu Zhao suppressed the killing intent and rage churning in his chest. His Divine Sense swept over the scene, a hell on earth, like an invisible tide. His gaze darted through the crowd, passing over one numb, despairing face after another.

Finally, his eyes locked onto a corner on the west side of the dungeon, near the edge of the Blood Pool.

There was a woman who looked to be in her twenties. Her disheveled hair was plastered to a face as pale as paper. Her eyes were shut tight, her long eyelashes casting faint shadows in the dim light.

Despite her haggard face and sunken eyes, Lu Zhao recognized her features at a single glance. It was the little girl who had called him "Uncle Lu" back in Bixia Marketplace all those years ago—Wang Hui!

She, too, was tightly bound by the vicious "Spirit-Binding Rope." Deep purple bruises circled her slender wrists, and her aura was so faint it was nearly undetectable, as if it would be extinguished at any moment.

An indescribable heartache and overwhelming rage instantly flooded Lu Zhao! He could almost see the little girl from all those years ago, and he remembered her father, Wang Yun. ℴ𝒗ⅇ𝑙.

’The Le Family! Damn them! They all deserve to die!’

Lu Zhao appeared beside Wang Hui, moving as fast as a phantom. He quickly took out a Pill that radiated faint Vitality from his Storage Bag. He carefully pried open Wang Hui’s chapped lips, placed the Pill in her mouth, and used his Magical Power to help dissolve its Medicinal Power and protect her heart meridian, which was on the verge of collapse.

Then, forming a blade with his fingers, he gathered an incomparably sharp blade of light at his fingertips. With a SHLICK, he cleanly sliced through the "Spirit-Binding Rope" coiled around Wang Hui!

Freed from her bonds, Wang Hui’s body slumped, and Lu Zhao gently caught her. He didn’t hesitate to place the unconscious Wang Hui into his Beast Taming Bag. This was no place to linger; though the Beast Taming Bag wasn’t a pleasant place, it would at least shield her from outside detection and keep her safe for the time being.

Just as Lu Zhao finished and was about to turn and leave the nauseating dungeon, a sharp-featured, middle-aged man in a Steward’s uniform came running in from the entrance. His face held a trace of panic. Upon seeing "Le Zhongshan," he quickly bowed and spoke cautiously:

"Patriarch! I’ve finally found you! Several Elders are searching for you everywhere! They heard a rumor that all the Spirit Stones, Spiritual Materials, Pills, and Talismans in the family’s Grand Warehouse... were all taken by you?

Right now, all departments of the family are in urgent need of resources, and everyone is panicking. The Elders sent me to ask for your instructions, Patriarch. How should we handle this? The family’s operations can’t just come to a standstill!"

Hearing this, the corners of Lu Zhao’s mouth slowly curled into an utterly cold, mocking smile. His gaze swept over the Steward before him, then seemed to pierce through the dungeon walls to see the still ignorant and clueless Le Family Cultivators outside.
