“I’m looking forward to this!”

Su Wen looked at the high priest and said with a smile, his tone as if he were chatting with a close friend.

He had shown them the cosmic power they were most eager to understand and even cooperated with the Star God’s covert operations… How could that not be considered friendship?

With a thought, Su Wen tapped into the power of the River of Time, connecting to the force hovering above the high priest.

Through this force, he planned to visit the home of the Will of the Remnant Universe.

While he couldn’t do it himself, the River of Time certainly could!

This was also part of the contract he had signed with the River of Time. He could use the borrowed power to do whatever he wanted, and until that power ran out, the River of Time was obligated to support his actions.

But the dark river was, at its core, a Capital River.

It provided only limited power, and if he wanted more, he’d have to pay up!

So, Su Wen had to carefully allocate the limited power of the River of Time for his journey to the Remnant Universe.

Given the Ink River’s stingy nature, it was likely to hold him back at the last moment, forcing him to cough up more money.

It might even spin some tale about how the original power was enough, but he wasted it on the high priest of the Remnant, and so on.

To avoid being caught off guard, Su Wen had to prepare in advance.

Luckily, he still had a plan to deal with the high priest of the Remnant.

“Then I’ll meet your expectations!”

The high priest continued to advance toward Su Wen, and with each step, a number of clones emerged from his body.

Each clone radiated an overwhelming aura of power.

Upon closer inspection, these weren’t mere clones—they seemed to be the high priest’s true self!

He held immense respect for the Time and Space maintainers, so he proceeded with extreme caution.

As the high priest approached the God of Theater and gave him a friendly nod, Su Wen suddenly looked up.

“Fighting God!!!”

Su Wen’s shout echoed through the heavens, striking the hearts of all living beings like a colossal hammer weighing millions of pounds.

It even stirred a feeling of unease in the high priest’s heart.

The Fighting God of the Ninth Age… wasn’t he supposed to be dead?

And the only one still alive now couldn’t possibly be the weak Fighting God of the Ninth Age, could it?

No way!

Could the Deity of Wealth in Office be connected to that monstrous intelligence born from a corpse?

Suddenly, the high priest’s heart skipped a beat.

He remembered the combat heart radiating from the Deity of Wealth, that combat heart filled with negative traits, which resembled that monster.

“Buzz!”

A blood-colored aura shot up into the clouds, and then behind Su Wen, the Fighting God appeared, holding a blood-colored spear and wearing a determined smile.

“Deity of Wealth, leave him to me!”

As soon as the Fighting God appeared, he crossed his spear and said with a grin.

In the next moment, under the astonished gazes of everyone, the Fighting God stepped forward and his figure transformed into countless forms.

Battle clones!

This was truly his specialty!

Perhaps if the high priest used a clone to strike at someone else, they would be in distress.

But this tactic perfectly fell into his line of fire.

Wonderful!

He could engage such a powerful being right from the start, which matched his elation perfectly.

“You…”

Su Wen reached out, wanting to send a message, but the Fighting God charged with such speed.

Maybe after years of drifting alone on the edge of the world, filled with loneliness and unable to fight anyone, the Fighting God was like a student joyfully returning home after a long break.

However, the return ceremony of the Fighting God was a bit different from what Su Wen had imagined.

The body of the current Fighting God had returned, which was very close to the domain of the Fighting God.

So… shouldn’t there be some reaction?

Yet, not even a flower bloomed?

Like a wild horse that broke free from its reins, the Fighting God galloped forward.

Hmm… can this Fighting God, utterly disconnected from the current Fighting God, defeat the high priest?

Especially considering the high priest was empowered by the Will of the Remnant Universe.

“I will do my best to conquer the Will of the Remnant Universe before you die.”

Su Wen watched the Fighting God’s figure fade away, silently wishing him luck.

Then, after quietly glancing at the Star God, he took a step forward and instantly vanished from sight.

Meanwhile, the Wind God and the Shadow God, guarding the Star God, observed with calm focus, clearly captivated by the tense battlefield situation.

As for the Star God’s small movements?

He was the Star God, whose wisdom surpassed everyone else’s. It was perfectly normal for them to not notice him in time.

“Fighting God…”

The Star God watched as the Fighting God dashed toward the high priest’s position, and then the Fighting God, along with numerous battle clones, flew back millions of miles, disappearing from sight.

But soon, the Fighting God returned, accompanied by his many clones, reappearing before the high priest.

No matter how brutally the high priest assaulted the Fighting God, he was like an indestructible cockroach, reappearing time and time again, charging relentlessly.

“Is that just an illusion?”

A spark of brilliance flashed in the depths of the Star God’s eyes; although subtle, he felt it.

The powerful force bestowed upon the high priest slowly weakened at a painfully slow pace.

Sure enough!

The power of the Will of the Remnant Universe wasn’t that enduring after all.

And with the Fighting God’s indestructible trait, he might just hold out for quite a while.

…

Meanwhile, outside the cosmos.

A terrifying figure, towering millions of feet tall, whose every move could create colossal waves, was being besieged by three thousand Faceless Beings.

The techniques the Faceless Beings employed were extraordinarily powerful, and their seamless coordination elevated the impact of the power of rules to a whole new level.

If this battle were known to the world, each Faceless Being’s manipulation of the rules would leave even the strongest beings within the cosmos in shock.

For this near-perfect control of rules was not something mere cultivators could master.

And this cosmic-level siege was a clash between the current body of the Fighting God and the will of the cosmos.

“Roar—”

The current body of the Fighting God seemed to sense a familiar aura, suddenly lifting its head and turning its gaze toward the interior of the cosmos.

Under the influence of this familiar aura, the violent consciousness birthed from the current body of the Fighting God and its crimson eyes appeared to begin a profound transformation, unknown to anyone.

“Fight…”

“Let’s fight!”

“Then we shall fight!”

The mental waves of the current body of the Fighting God began to radiate a battle intent: fighting until the blood ran dry, fighting without rest!

Then, as if summoned, a stream of crimson light shot out violently from the body.
