Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!

Chapter 890: Wait Until I Get There to Clean House!

  • Next Chapter

The surroundings fell silent.

As expected of the Flesh and Blood Cult.

They’d even come up with an advanced marketing strategy like monthly subscriptions ages ago. If someone looked into it, wouldn’t nine and a half out of every ten memberships turn out to have been opened by the Mechanical Cult?

They were raking it in!

Lynn forcibly suppressed his urge to join the Flesh and Blood Cult and make a fortune. His expression turned serious as he said:

“I’ll tentatively believe your bullshit. Now keep answering my questions. Who was it that you sent to that world this time? You’d better answer obediently. Understand?”

The Flesh and Blood Humanoid trembled ⊙﹏⊙ as it said, “Y-Yes... I understand... The higher-ups received a summons from the cultists in that world, so they followed their request and sent over the strongest Flesh Wraith Conglomerate from that world that we’d secretly cultivated over nearly a hundred years...”

“She... her name is Blood-Robed Madam...”

“She’s been living in Wandering Souls Alley lately, and our mission to investigate you happened to overlap with that... so... so we took over the mission...”

Lynn’s gaze turned icy in an instant.

Though he’d already guessed as much, hearing them say it aloud still sent uncontrollable murderous intent surging through him.

But he should have figured it out...

When Blood-Robed Madam first met him, her high heels and blood-red clothing, which resembled a cheongsam, had both made her easy to associate with a woman from the modern era...

But at the time, he’d had pitifully little information to work with, making it difficult to identify Blood-Robed Madam as one of Earth’s fallen ones...

So that was how it was.

Someone from that hometown had actually been right by his side all along...

Lynn said coldly, “Was this part of your plan? You were the ones who sent her to hell?!”

The Flesh Wraith trembled ⊙﹏⊙ as it replied, “I... I don’t know much. I only know that whenever my god wants to corrupt and invade a world, after cultivating believers there, they usually have them create some especially vicious Wraiths and send them to hell, where we secretly cultivate them...”

“Once the time comes to invade, they’re summoned back, plunging that world into chaos... Since it takes the least energy to summon a fallen one from the same world back to their original world, they can easily help our plans snowball afterward...”

“In fact, my god has already used this method to take over many surface worlds...”

It divulged everything it knew, down to the smallest detail.

Of course there was no need to stay loyal!

Information that cost only a few hundred bucks on the black market wasn’t worth risking your life over!

As for loyalty... being unyielding and true to the cause...

Give me twenty or thirty bucks and I’ll sell you out... o(╥﹏╥)o This kind of deal is easy to negotiate... Add a few more bucks and I can even give you some useful deductions... There’s really no need to torture me, boohoo...

【Ding! Your quest, “The Flesh and Blood Cult’s Goal,” is currently 91% complete.】

As the System’s notification rang in his ear, Lynn narrowed his eyes and pressed the gun to the creature’s chin. “One last question. Are there any more of your people in Wandering Souls Alley and Soul-Severance Street? If so, where are they?”

The Flesh and Blood Humanoid swallowed and answered shakily:

“T-There should be... Not long before I wandered in here, we’d just finished surveilling Blood-Robed Madam. Once the summoning went off without any major problems... my superior assigned us different tasks. Some of my brothers and I were responsible for gathering intelligence on the powerful beings in this area...”

“I saw a sign hanging in front of this castle asking for ‘food,’ so I came in to take a look...”

There was no need to explain what happened next.

That look had gotten it into trouble.

Lynn asked hesitantly, “What about your other attendants? What are they doing?”

The Flesh and Blood Humanoid stared wide-eyed and pointed toward Wandering Souls Alley. “The main force went to your pharmacy. Since they couldn’t find anything valuable, they got so angry they decided to turn the place into a restroom, just to humiliate you.”

“...”

Zuo Zuo swallowed, opened her mouth, and stared blankly at Lynn’s suddenly hollow expression.

She knew just how important that little shop was to him.

Tearing down his shop was practically the same as taking a dump in his mouth.

“Um... Brain... are you okay...?”

Lynn blankly nudged his Monocle with the barrel of his gun. “I’m fine. I’m fantastic, better than ever! Zuo Zuo, get your notebook and write this down. Make sure you record every last detail!”

Zuo Zuo ⊙﹏⊙.

She took out a pen and quickly wrote down the entry【The Restroom Grudge】in his Notebook.

The Notebook contained every grudge he held against those who’d crossed him, including the Mechanical Girl’s. Every single offense was recorded in meticulous detail.

Lynn turned around, grabbed the Flesh and Blood Humanoid, and pulled it in front of him. Woodenly, he asked, “Didn’t you run into any trouble when you went there? Like some useless Big Tongue or something? It should’ve been sent back when the Colossus disintegrated. Did it really let you get started without a fuss?”

The Flesh and Blood Humanoid swallowed and replied blankly:

“Uh... at first, it wouldn’t let us. We even fought once... But when we said we wanted to humiliate you... it gladly agreed, and took a big payment from us to lease out part of the room. We were short on manpower, so we agreed...”

“According to the contract it signed, it owns half the shares in the restroom.”

“...”

A brief silence.

“Waaah! Brain, calm down! Calm down! That wheelchair Sir Aiwen modified for you was really expensive! And you’re still so weak! Don’t just pick it up and smash people with it! (>_<) It’ll break! It’ll break!”

Zuo Zuo shrieked and clung to the railing nearby, straining to hold back Lynn as he hefted his wheelchair and swung it at the Flesh and Blood Humanoid (>_<).

He was seeing red!

Seeing red!

His fists were clenched tight!

You can guard against threats day and night, but it’s the traitor in your own home who gets you! A decent team can’t afford a backstabbing little snake! And if that snake is your very own tongue, who’s already gone and colluded with the Flesh and Blood Cult to set up its own master after being away for barely any time at all, that’s completely unacceptable!

“Write it down! Record everything that traitorous Big Tongue did! Just wait until I get there to clean house!”

Lynn had already rolled up his sleeves in a fury (>_<).

Fuming!

Seething!

He couldn’t hold back any longer!

It seemed absolutely necessary to stuff it back into the Colossus’s mouth and have Colossus’s Brain give it a thorough disciplining. Doing something like this was unquestionably a betrayal of its father!

Zuo Zuo could only take out the Notebook with a dubious look (;¬_¬) and add a line recording Big Tongue’s grudge.

It was simple.

【Big Tongue’s intense resentment at being denied a share of the illegal profits.】

“Honestly...”

She knew him too well.

Of his anger at Big Tongue, 20% might genuinely be about the restroom, but 80% was definitely because he was furious that he hadn’t gotten a cut of the profits!

After all, he was the kind of creature who was practically itching to chop off his own head and sell it. His moral standards couldn’t possibly be normal by anyone else’s. If you judged him by ordinary logic, he’d definitely fool you.

So.

When you saw that his Morality was low, just apply the Chaotic Evil playbook to him. It would fit him every time. Once he raised his Morality, then you could switch to some other template.
